I have always wanted a Herman Miller chair. In this video I got to test several chairs and stools for several months. Here's what I found. I came here looking for more insight into the chairs, while already leaning into going for the cosm. Your description and showcase has made me solidify my choice! 👌Thank you for the insightful video
Same. Since I live in the middle of Silicon Valley, there are all sorts and sizes available too. I bought a fully loaded Aeron very quickly for a few hundred dollars, in great used shape too.
I love my aeron, got one at work and at home. The one thing I wish was more widely knowns is that it is an absolute chore to clean of the dust that gets in all of its curves and parts. Be aware!
'Whispering to AI, a chair, and a mattress' I never thought a stranger on the internet would be able to describe my work life so easily. Subbed based on the personality alone, checked out your page almost every video is a review of something I am currently or have recently looked into purchasing... for me you're like if the algorithm came to life.
I went through this process a couple of years ago. Ended up buying the Steelcase Gesture chair. Very flexible and allows criss cross applesauce too! One of the best investments I’ve ever made.
A bit of a different video for Chase, but good for those who can afford a $1000+ chair. I definitely think that it is worth spending money on a high quality chair, as I live by the motto, “spend money on anything that is between you and the ground. “ this includes chairs, mattresses, shoes and tires for your car.
I have 2 Aerons, one is 22yrs old and the other is 2yrs old... its CRAZY how much better the old one is to me. I find that with the new one, my but slides forward and causes bad posture. The old one just holds me in one place. I really want to try an Embody
I'm in the market looking for the Embody but the gaming version..anyway, the arm rest - supposedly you're supposed to lift them up before moving them from side to side and they feel way better without the clicky crap... love the video man and thanks for making it
I ordered the cosm about 2 weeks ago. A huge issue I’ve had with office chairs is that I get super obsessed with constantly adjusting things to make it perfect, especially the lumbar support. I could never get things quite right because of that. So the cosm seems like a dream come true for me. I am 6’2 so hopefully that won’t be a huge issue
As an owner of several HM chairs, they all have their pros/cons. The expensive doesn't mean the best nor the cheap the worst. Embody, Aeron, Sayl, Verus, Mirra 1 and 2, Celle
I bought the Sayl "Gaming" chair last year in the spring when they have an annual sale. It is incredibly annoying spending almost $1,000 on a chair and way too adult but, it is super supportive and comfortable. Plus, the over decade long warranty helped me swallow it better
" ...there's a mattress and there's a chair in your life the rest is Chipotle and Netflix..." Lmao! I felt that! Great review...I need a real chair! I spend too much time at my desk and the Office Depot chairs aren't cutting it.
i have a cosm. it is nice but for a serious work chair the aeron is the way to go. i went for the bar height one without wheels. i have a standing desk and really don't like putting it down low with my cats crawling all over the place.
Where I used to work (a bank’s head office) they have decked out all the desks with Aerons and people used to abuse the shit out of them. I wish I savour those chairs more. :)
Whenever im thinking of buying something quality wise... 1st step is coming to Chase Reeves channel for guidance. My osprey, has been amazing... now if herman seeing this... more retailers in Portugal would be a treat, so hard to find one here. Aeron would be my choice no doubt.
Ok dude weird question… who makes that shirt? I’ve been searching for the perfect black button down collared shirt For chairs I’ve got an Aeron, works for me :)
Aeron is tried and true, but size matters! Don’t just buy one make sure to try each size, if it’s not sized correctly it’s incredibly uncomfortable. If it is it’s glorious.
If you can't choose between Embody and Aeron, I'll give you a nudge towards Aeron. The mesh is just so good and the only thing I have about my daily driver Embody is the sweaty hips and back, man.
Original Aeron owner. Not all that comfortable for me. Build quality above average. My experience does not equate to the price. Newer models might be better.

Dude. Your personality is MAGNETIC. Instantly subbed.
I mean. Exactly 17 mins in after the reference. Same difference. You rock lol
Got an Aeron 5 yrs ago, second hand, one of the best purchases I've made.

Woouuuu, I din't expect that intro!! haha
i never comment or upvote but that intro was a certified banger 🔥🔥🔥

Love your personality haha
I tried embody and the back felt kinda hard, but I really wanted to like it, I might try it again

One of the best investments I’ve ever made.
You're glad you spent the money on a good one? I've heard good things about this one.
Embody user here for 5 years, perfect chair for me 😅

That's really profound
Good motto

Surprised you didn’t review the Mirra 2. I’ve had one for years and absolutely love it!
Chase, there’s nothing you can’t review and get us emotionally bought into. 😂
" ...there's a mattress and there's a chair in your life the rest is Chipotle and Netflix..." Lmao! I felt that! Great review...I need a real chair! I spend too much time at my desk and the Office Depot chairs aren't cutting it.
Thanks Chase. What about the Mirra 2 model?
Love ya Chase!

Fav furniture designer ever…
except for the crazy CEO 😅
Love my Sayl.
The Mirra 2 is yet another option. I’ve been running the chair for almost a decade without issue.
Where I used to work (a bank’s head office) they have decked out all the desks with Aerons and people used to abuse the shit out of them. I wish I savour those chairs more. :)
can confirm, mattress and chair life
I've had the Embody for several years...can sit all day (unhealthy I know) w/o discomfort during or after I get up
Oy... such a nice thing to get into.

Hey chase how tall are you
Thanks Chase, useful and surprising review !

Not the Embody for sure. It's a torture device.
First.
Shame no mirra 2.
Agreed! Would love to have seen a review of the Mirra 2
this is C2 level of English.. :)
The embody is so overrated.
There is a child lurking like a wee goblin 1:54 - I'm a red Cosm guy for sure.
