This upgrade process was really interesting to watch, especially the 3D printer and sewing machine upgrades. Really shows how AMD's tech can be used in so many versatile ways.
Great pushup technique @ 19:34 Linus. That's the only way I can do it actually because of how messed up my wrists are from skateboarding. Try putting the weight on just your front two knuckles though, those are the ones you want to strike with as well (I did Karate btw).
FYI- TPU is a SOFTER filament, you need a good extruder to print it well though without issues, the 'hardened' is only really for use with abrasive filaments, like anything 'filled' (wood filled, carbon fiber filled, glitter filled) and Glow In the Dark, and it is mostly in the Nozzle that needs it.
That sewing machine is the same as my old one. Perfect upgrade to it without changing to a bigger machine. When he's ready get the Sailrite Fabricator. Absolutely LOVE mine. Also just as a note, the one he has will sew canvas, webbing and limited leather. Great for making straps, bags, and other assorted stuff.
I think “limited leather” is underselling it quite a bit. Sure you’re not going to be sewing a saddle, but there is pretty much no leather a cosplay/clothing maker could possibly want to sew that the LS-1 with the servo motor can’t handle easily with a leather needle in place.

Pro-tip: The Logitech Powerplay mat is ~2mm thick, so find some 2mm corkboard [art/craft stores are a good place to look] and cut it to the same size as your deskmat, minus the Powerplay mat size and place both _under_ the deskmat. 5:00 - The hardened nozzle is ordered separate, p1S doesn't come with it; why the packaging is different. The packing for the printer itself is awesome, I kept the bubble wrap stuff they shipped with it; rest is paper and cardboard. 10:39 - Bambu also highly recommends against running cardboard spools in the AMS, people think it's the cardboard dust from it rolling but it's actually cause' none of them are remotely round and they bind up causing all kinds of issues.
I had great success printing the Spool One for all my anti-cardboard needs. Looks like they made a V2 as well and an AMS Lite adapter. I used Elegoo Black PETG for one face and Sunlu White PLA+ for the other. I printed the rest in Transparent Bambu PETG. It's held up well. "Universal AMS Cardboard Spool Adapter" on Makerworld

When I have free time, I like to tinker with new technologies that might not have anything to do with the day job, but that still teach me new things. And often enough, I can use some of these skills and knowledge at work at a later date.
I am also in IT. Out of the vast amounts of other IT people I've been around, its literally only a handful that are tech enthusiasts like this. Its surprising to me, honestly.

Regarding the „making cloths at home after work“: not sure how it is in the clothing industry, but in IT this is somewhat common (at least for the hardcore nerds). When I have free time, I like to tinker with new technologies that might not have anything to do with the day job, but that still teach me new things. And often enough, I can use some of these skills and knowledge at work at a later date.
I am also in IT. Out of the vast amounts of other IT people I've been around, its literally only a handful that are tech enthusiasts like this. Its surprising to me, honestly.
Tech? Sure. But most recruiters seem to think we enjoy coding in our free time.
