watching a backlog of vids now. this guy is the best painter doing youtube vids. thank you man!
Those freehand tattoos and how you did the stockings are amazing Brent. Another fine video sir
Thanks a lot my dude
You have an incredible talent, and it's always a joy to see all the models you paint. Would love to own one of you pieces
I use your eye technique on all my figures. Thank you so much for that. Brilliant!
It’s simple but super effective
Turned out great! Although not my personal favourite incarnation of Harley, can't deny VX Labs turned out another banger here! For securing things like those pigtales I'd pin them myself. Most of my big prints involve either lengths of paperclips, cocktail sticks and bamboo skewers for removable parts rather than magnets. But you do need to decide that prior to printing, in order to subtract the pinning-holes from the model first.
Yea I would’ve pinned them but I didn’t think about it till later hopefully the dude didn’t have a problem gluing them in
DUDE! now that is a super awesome paint job! You make it look so easy, but I re-did those fishnets like 12 times lol. Thanks for this video man!
Haha I didn’t want to do that!! Luckily I got it first time. Just used a really really small amount of paint almost just a dirty brush and brushed it loads before paint even came off onto the model
Great video, always a pleasure to watch. Could you cover some of the printing stage in a future video? Any advice on preparing the files for printing, the printing itself and the prep before painting would be awesome. Thanks for posting these videos, the content is fantastic.
Absolutely I do plan on making a video like this probably a couple to be fair. For now there are a couple supporting videos to watch if you wanted to see my process over there just check out the printing playlist.
Awesome job Dude ! I love Harley ! The tats look great. I will be getting this one !
Brilliant work, love how it turned out.
Thank you so much.
I love this ViD and Harley. Way to get it Groundeffected!
Another nice work bro! I admire the time you put in to the details such as the eyes and the baseball bat.
Thanks dude. Sometimes I resent that patience of mine hahaha it can land me days worth of doing one minor detail.
outstanding results. makes me want get to that level of sculpture painting- and a micron pen
Fantastic video bud its great to see a fellow figure painter
Great work as always. Thank you for pointing out how you delt with the tattoos and writing on the bat. Also I hate sculpted eyes too. I always appreciate designers that include two head options, sculpted and smooth eyes.
Yea defo. Eyes are easier when they’re smooth. I prefer placing them myself
I'm just here to type words where words can be typed and click Like buttons.
And I appreciate that my dude.

Love your vids thanks for sharing!!! Subscribed ……Is that a South African influenced accent I hear there?
OMG! What a great job on the paint. You make it look so easy and those fishnets would be hard for me to do. And the tattoos are good too. Now I know why you didn't want to do this model for a while. LOL. Keep up the great work!
It’s a lot easier than it seems I promise maybe just print half a leg to test it on first ?
@@Groundeffected *Very nice work....From one artist to another I salute brother. Question: Is she available for purchase?*
Stunning work as always dude :) I can honestly say that I haven't seen a single video of yours that I didn't like. Amazing and keep up the great work :)
Thanks dude. Much appreciated
Really useful video, many thanks for this.I will try to use the same process on my Ray Skywalker and then I will test Harley Quinn . Models from VX Labs are amazing
Hope it all goes great for you dude!!
ive just started in this and watched many videos, i dont comment much on youtube, but you sir are TALENTED and deserve the praise. I hope sponsors read this and support you, i subscribed for sure and after seeing your vids appreciate your tips and talent! kuddos!
Wow, thank you!
I'm just starting on figure painting. I've been doing vehicles for years. You are very helpful and funny too
Haha I’m glad you like dude
Great video and amazing paint job!! I’ve got a few prints from VX labs and after seeing this video I’m going to get Harley!!
She’s a tough one to paint but she does look cool.
Thanks man hopefully one day I can afford my own resin 3D printer really interested in the hobby. Just recently got a filament printer this actually makes me regret getting it instead of a resin printer.
Always enjoy watching your videos and learning how to improve my current skills
Thanks dude. Glad you like them!!
@@Groundeffected I lost my beloved wife of 48 years and watching your videos have also helped me through a very emotional upheaval and gave me a chance to distract from the outside world and rediscover a love for art. Thanks again and when I am more settled I would love to be a paying member
@@robertlock7181 ah man that’s exactly what it’s all about dude. I’m glad to be the shoulder to lean on when you needed a distraction. Keep painting the pain away my dude!!! You got this. And thanks for supporting my dude.
Beautiful sculpt and paint . I like watching other people sculpt and paint . It reminds me im not by myself when im going through it . One thing i would never film myself sculpting and painting its too distracting hats off to all who dont mind filming thanks. Happy creating............
It’s tough. Damn camera dictates where you can hold the model and slows everything down cos your arms are so far away from your body but you get used to it eventually
Man you are an artiste. Those statues are great
Man I just found your channel, and it got an instant sub from me. I have gotten more from your methods than I have from anyone else. Keep it up man!
That’s so good to hear my dude. Welcome!
one of the best, thank you dad
awesone result, you have a knack for freehands

I love your work and your presentation style
Mad as a box of frogs but I LOVE IT
Sooo jealous of your talent
Sick work. I’ve been printing off a ton of models myself and I’m gathering tons of info and techniques watching different creators. Seen a few of your vids and your work is top notch. My Harley didn’t come out as nice but it’s a little different model. Love the vids though.
Awesome, thank you!
Great video, thanks
Thanks for watching.
Your fine detail is next level 👍
Awesome job dude, you've got yourself a new subscriber.
100% agree with you regrading sculpted eyes, you can get much more character out of a portrait if you get to place the eyes where you want.
Yea I don’t like them to be sculpted. But it’s ok I made it work in the end.
thats sick man fish nets cool hand scribing great
Thanks my dude.
Amazing thanks 🎉
That’s the F in nuts mate 👍🇬🇧👌
Fantastic video .
And Master Chief from Halo.
It can been seen as such a flat color and would take some creativity to make it eye catching . Love to see that . Love your stuff and as a new comer to 3D printing it’s very inspiring
Thank you very much!
Mate your painting is awesome
Great tip on how to paint the stocknings,Thanx bud
Incredible! A true masterpiece.

@@Groundeffected I dabble in painting myself. Nothing on your level but I enjoy it.
Which kind of brushes do you use ? Which sizes ? And how long time spend making this Harley Quinn figure ??
You are awesome
Top work sir
Super clean Brent, stunning work man! HQ 4ever 😁

Wow you are really talented. This is wonderful work.
What can I say? An awesome paint job! Gotta get me some of those fine linier pens. Oh, and I like toast.

Thanks dude
Nice content man. Really enjoy your commentary
Great video mate! Love the way you explained the hose!
Haha thanks dude.
Damn Bits! Another smashing piece Brent! I have to start getting into putting magnets in since I currently just glue everything.
Thank you dude. Yea magnets are great especially for the printing process too. Just takes a little brain power figuring them out sometimes.
Amazing work man! Climbing to the top!
Thank you bro. We still got a long way to go but thanks for being on the train while we chug to the top haha
I love your videos. Just perfect in every way. I have one question. what color did you use for harley's hair?
Always inspiring!
Thank you 🙏
That looks really nice! GREAT job. 👍 Thanks for the handy tips too.
Incredible work, well done.
Bro that is amazing!! Just like all of your stuff and you often crack me up laughing too which is a bonus! I really do love the red and blue that you used. Are you able to tell me what blue and red they are please dude?
I’m pretty sure they are metallics from ammo by mig
Thank you so much
I can't Harley believe my Batman broke 3 fecking times. GD it.
Oof that sucks
Absolutely Stunning work Congratulations As a newbie can this type of model be purchased , if I dont have a printer?
Great video! 👏🏻
Great model, great paint job
Brilliant as always !!
Brother….. you are a beast!!!
Outstanding Tutorial ✌🏼
yet another couple of words enjoying all the vids
Thank you those words make all the difference!!
Best tutorials out there love it 👍👍
Haha thanks man
Nice work man
Thank you my dude.
Good pointer on the fishnets, I have tried that in the past but either used too much paint or not a soft enough dry brush
Defo too much paint. It took a good few passes before any paint even showed up on the model.
A couple of words. You’re welcome 👍
That was impressive!
WOW . AMAZING 🤩.God job man 🔥👏👏👏
Thank you.
