Tbh, it was not a fair fight for the Alolan Golems to begin with. Their ability Galvanize making all their Normal-type moves (which are the majority of moves in the game) Electric type, makes them unable to damage the Kanto Golems at all since they are immune to them. I think you should do this Form Fight episode again. This time with all Golems having the same ability Sturdy. It would be much more fair and it guarantees survival if they get a powerful super-effective first move.

Golem is one of my favorite Rock types; I never got to use it much in the early games, but when I do get to use it, I love it. Kantonian has the nicer design, and that always wins for me, even though Alolan Golem is probably better for most battles...just not this one. XD

as a fellow person who was stuck with graveler, golem is still memorable to me as the one i could never have, that was until i discovered glitches to encounter any pokemon in the wild, making the golem i saught after so long in gen 1 finally mine

I'm assuming you use emulators for special play thrus(randomizers ie.) but, for normal play thrus(just a base game) how do you record. Do you download the games onto your computer or do you use your 3DS. And when you do/if use an emulator, which one and how? Also how do you record when its on your 3DS and computer? Bascially, whats ur pokemon game recording setup, im interested in starting my own channel and this would be greately appreciated help, thanks!
I think it's a little hard to choose between a rock and a rock with a mustache, but I'm going with Kantonian Golem. Sure, the cannons on it's back are pretty epic, I don't think the mudtache helps. At all.
For me it's a tie...i like the traditional kanto look but i also like the alola typing...but i never use geodude or is evos so i'm not sure if I'd ever really decide which is best

I really want to see a mania with bulky/slow/seminars hitting pokemon. But likw, not use hidden abilities but the ability that best first the defensive gimmick. Like mudsfale, for instancd, who has the hidden ability inner focus but SHOULD have stamina, since that's part of its niche and it would be at a disadvantage without said niche. Idk - want to see it though
Thanks to this video I was reminded that Golem has an Alolan forme, though my OT fic won't be having Alolan formes. I think I actually like the Alolan forme Golem better, just a better look to it, and actually have a recognition of it shooting ROCKS
SOS chaining alolan graveler was a pain they always self destruct. Damp Pokémon would prevent that but you still need skill swap to know what ability it has 🤷♂️
I have some ideas to make golem a Mega Evolution.. Now that hes been seen alolan style I believe he deserves a Mega for being a somewhat evolutionline from the anime..

I tend to like using hyper beam/giga impact when having an ability that changes normal type moves to stab moves. pixelate hyper beam mega gardevoir ftw
seems a bit unfair giving galvanize to golem seeing he is facing kantonian golem, he would literally be immune to any normal attack alola golem would do. the ability straight up harms him

my favourite is kantonian graveler, love the personality in the gen 1 sprite and hoenn sprite.
Alolan Golem because of that dragon claw animation from Kantonian Golem. It curled up into a ball to use it's claws.

I think Alolan Golem has a much cooler design, but Kanto Golem will always have a special place in my heart as being my first shiny ever.
