    Hello, Thanks for the demo. For those high grade digital servos in the market moving at 60 degree per 0.05s something , what frequency should I set?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад

      Depends on the servo. You would have to read the manual

    I’m looking to add an extra servo channel from my fc if I used this receiver with my fc could I utilise the extra pwm inputs on the receive ? Btw using elrs

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад +1

      Yes you can. PWM and serial channels work at the same time

    Great video and very informative as always, thanks Andrew.
    One question can you mix outputs. For instance, have sbus out and still have access to some of the pwm channels for driving servos directly (pan n tilt or retracts etc..)?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад

      Yes you can. SBUS and PWM work at the same time

    Gday Andrew, Thank you for this explanation mate. With these being used via PWM only running my TX-12 with a 1000mW ELRS module, Can we expect some great distances without SBUS and or a Matek board by just bind and fly? What are your estimates with just the receiver and my TX-12 with 1000mW with ent antennas? Would we see a servo work at 5 - 10 km's?
    Thanks very much.

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад +1

      Yes you would get the same range with just PWM

    I’m a little confused with the crsf connection as it’s a four pin, does it go across the pins

    Hello Andrew, I have a problem with the voltage indication. I tested this with different batteries that had different voltages. The volt display in the transmitter always remains the same. It is obviously not measured. Is that the case with you too?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад

      What voltage is it showing? Could be BEC output

    • @butena55

    • @AndrewNewton

      How do you know it's bound? Which radio? Most likely you have made a mistake in radio setup or servo connections.

    Hi andrew! I have thrown this rx in my old trusty Avios Bushmule... but for some reason when i connect the Throttle 2 on ch 5 separately from T1 the mottors behave in a weird way. they do not start at the same time and motor 2 starts only at 50% throttle. i have calibrated the ESCs but no success. I know it is because of the RX cause when i plug the ESCs separately on an old FRSKY X8R all work as intended. Any ideas would be really helpful..

      ELRS Rule no 1 - Dont use Ch 5 for anything other than Arming. Also you need to read up about ELRS Switch Modes.

    OK I'm really stupid, so forgive me. I wire tx and rx to reverse on FC from rx, and that's all to get crossfire on elrs? Do you need to do the invert uart like old days? Got new RXs for my elrs set-up, so now going to take time to set up properly using csrf. Was way to excited before and did stupid long flight with pwm. FYI for swordfish
    Many thanks in advance Andrew you've been a great help over many years.

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад +2

      Tx to Rx1 and Rx to Tx1, then select crsf as the Serial RC provider. No invert needed
