Thanks so much for showing your work and glaze combinations! I’ve used ink spots before but was fired at a cone 10 and it looks pretty different(probably a clay body difference also),it’s so fun to see the differences in the reactions. Much appreciated, I hope your day was super!☕️🍩

The indigo rain is beautiful when the crystals melt. 😁 Your bee mugs are beautiful and I have some mugs with green tea over black walnut waiting to be fired. You sure have your plate full with shows, family and full time job! Not sure how you do it.....👍

Hi Audrey! I like the winter wood over rose quarts! I don't know if you used cones, but some of those testers look like maybe the kiln didn't get hot enough. I agree on the walnut! And leather too. The face mugs are super cute! I'm looking forward to seeing them. I love your bee and fox mugs. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I normally do use cones but couldn’t fit them in this time. I think you might be right. I’m waiting on new elements so hopefully the next firing will have those.

Hi! I love your work and appreciate you sharing your glaze combos! 💗I wanted to let you know that Albany slip brown looks grey and white when over just obsidian. I think your chip & dip bowl had Smokey merlot over your Albany slip brown. I do the combo that you tried and it is obsidian like you had, but the ASB and the Smokey merlot on top of it do not cover each other. 👍
Thanks again for your videos! I really enjoy them :-)

My gosh your pots are amazing. Have you thought of doing an in depth video on your scrafitto? I think it would be a huge hit!! I think most of the pots that didn’t turn out like you wanted was because the kiln didn’t get hot enough. The one mug you showed the inspiration for was fired to cone 7. Also there is an Albany slip and an Albany slip brown so make sure you got the right one. It was annoying for me to find that out because I ended up getting the wrong one.

Ohhhh I might should check that lol! And I didn’t use cones this time, I normally do but couldn’t fit them in. So I think it did fire to a cone 5 instead of 5.5. I have done a couple videos on sgraffito but I can definitely do a more in depth one. ❤️

Love the bee mugs. How did you get the black to be so smooth and satin looking? My black underglaze looks chalky.

I believe it’s the brand I use. Sax True Flow in Jet Black. There is a link to it in the video description. I’ve tried other underglazes and none turn out like this. And I fire to cone 5.5
