This video is about my return trip back to the Hartford Brainard Airport, good to know the guys in the tower remember my call sign when I arrive back home at KHFD
In this video my goal was to touchdown right on the numbers and exit at the first taxi way. i used the displaced threshold area to utilize ground effect. i wanted my airspeed to be as slow as possible at touchdown. My planned touchdown landing zone was approximately 50 feet. i should have explained more clearly what i was doing here during the landing phase.
First time I flew there as a student I got confused with the old airport to the north.
