Research Roemheld syndrome. I have a similar issue with bending over, migraines, and skipped heart beats.. In short, the condition generally occurs in people with anxiety.
I’m right there with you bro! I had an echiocardiogram, EKG, and. Stress Test done. Everything was good. I get one forceful heartbeat and then it goes away. Scary to think about. The anxiety comes into play at that point. I totally understand what you mean. My GP says that anxiousness of thinking about it happening or even the anticipation of it happening will occur. My cardiologist explained that they’re pvc’s and it’s benign. Everyone gets them but when you’re hyper aware of it then in your head you think something is wrong. I’m doing my best to overcome anxiety. Hope you do to. This video allowed me to understand my dr’s when they said “everyone” and I see your video and read all the comments! We’ll get thru this! Keep posting videos! 🙏🏽
Yes, Being hyper aware is a problem.. my guard is always up.. I need to work on that. It’s so interesting how some people are not aware of their own heartbeat… I have my own internal EKG… 😂😂😂 God bless brotha! Mike
Hi Mike, I have the same symptoms as you. When I bend over sometimes, I get a minor heart palpitation. Also, if I overeat (...delicious meals can make us all do that) I get very fast heart palpitations (I even called 911 they were so bad and scary). Also to answer your question, yes, I can normally feel my heartbeats when I am relaxing. It's not like I feel it constantly but if I am relaxing I can feel my heartbeat. Yes, I did some research and the VAGUS nerve is definitely affected or the actual cause of the issues. I was in 2 accidents and probably damaged my vagus nerve at some point. I also read about a hiatal hernia (due to the stomach protruding through the diaphragm.....the stomach is very close to the heart) that could also be a reason for palpitations when bending over. For the past few months, I have been eating smaller meals throughout the day and I have not had any issues but just to make sure I have had an echocardiogram a week ago and my cardiologist said my heart was fine (chambers, valves, everything great) and I am also getting a Coronary CT Angiogram just to make sure everything is working correctly. As a result of all these issues w palpitations and chest pain, I definitely have a few panic attacks and anxiety. Hopefully, when I narrow down the actual health issue, my anxiety will subside and be under control. I hope you and everyone suffering from palpitations get to the root cause of it and recovers and are on a healthy journey to living well. Amen!!!!.
Hey mike and all who have same , i just bend over and hand heart like cramps so bad have to straightened up fast to stop the pain, and other side of chest get cramps their there too. We live uncomfortable so long that our bodies need total excercise, tai chi chuan is good and so is a long walks in the woods with like minded and helpful folks to be in a better mindset , be careful you all, try stretching, bending over and backwards will help a wholelot with deep breathing and exhaling ,find a buddy and get started then come back here and talk about your progresses
One of the strongest triggers of my SVT is bending forwards. I will have some days where I get almost a sixth sense lol that I'm gonna get an svt episode, it's more that I will feel more anxious or nervous
When you bend over or get up from the bed, your blood pressure changes can definitely affect the heart rhythm. You should get the implantable recorder. It sends any irregular beats directly to your doctor.
Honestly, my mind is blown, I've struggled with palpitations for a couple of years now and mine is also triggered by movement... every time. But what's even more interesting is I recall telling my doctor that I believed there was a link between what I eat and when I get palpitations and unfortunately he did not take me seriously and suggested that I was just stressed. Even though we may not have all of the answers right now I am happy to hear I'm not alone and am even more hopeful I will find answers.
For sure!! Honestly, I hate to say it but many docs throw darts and many times they are wrong.. keep an open mind and research yourself.. get other opinions.. I bet it is something you are eating or if you eat a little too much, notice if it makes a difference.. if I eat too much, it expands my stomach and in my opinion, bumps into the Vagus nerve setting off an electrical storm.. let us know how you’re doing! 💯💯💯 hang in there!
Mine has been doing it lately but I have to bend over for it to happen and it last maybe 30 seconds or less and I don't have any other symptom other than my heart racing. Then when I bend back up or sit down it don't bother me like that. So what does that sound like to you?
You could have a hiatal hernia. I think I have one as there are times when I cannot draw a full breath, but I have no other symptoms and have researched a ton of info about them. Heart palpitations can be a symptom of hiatal hernias, I have read. The reason I mention this is because you mentioned there being a potential correlation to dairy consumption. Something may be going on with your stomach acid interacting with the dairy. Testing for a hiatal hernia isn't that bad either. There's some sort of stuff you swallow and an x-ray.
I can feel my heart beat. My heart also goes in to race mode about once every other month from just a random bending over, or awkward position. Then I have to wait a few minutes for it to suddenly go back in to normal mode. meanwhile, it raises my body temp, and makes me break out in to a sweat. I consider myself faily healthy, and this has happened to me almost all my life.
Same here. It happens almost every day. Simple extra beats or a short run of fea PAC or PVC. I did so many cardio tests....All doctors said I am OK. I just need to lose belly fat and deal with belly distention after eating. I wish you all the best!
I believe you have afib 100% I was a lucky one to be in it while the doctors checked my heart to confirm. I get the same triggers that you have as u stated bending over l hear lack of water. Afib begat afib so we can’t control to much
I get those strong heart beat feeling for one sec when I bend over sometime also when I squat all the way down, during a workout when I push myself to failure or also without doing anything aswell
Did you Dr tell you they could be pacs or pvcs? Im 51 and get them occasionally. There usually benign. Echocardiogram and ziopatch can rule cut any dangerous heart arrhythmia. Anxiety does make them worse. Best of luck Michael
I am experiencing this. When I bend over I feel flutters and sometimes it sends me into a rapid heart race that I've had to sit down and calm down for 45 mins debating calling 911. I've been to the Dr several months ago and they started me on propanerol a beta blocker. Seemed to be effective at first ,but now more so than not I'm having these days of bending over with the flutter almost all the time my anxiety is thru the roof. I also had a normal EKG I work 2 jobs cleaning. So bending over isn't avoidable. It's certainly concerning to say the least
Also about dairy...I am lactose intolerant but I can eat some kefir and hard cheese. I avoided dairy for many years and in the last months I start to eat a little and in the same period I notice more ectopic beats, belly distention and bloating and ectopic beats when bending over or when I stay slouched in a chair, or when I do some sudden movements while holding my breath.
I just went to the ER today because I bent down to tie my shoes and when I stood back upright, my heart was pounding and I looked at my Apple Watch and it said my heart was beating at 146bpm, the ER did a EKG and they said my heart is healthy so 🤷🏻♀️ but I also recently got diagnosed with PCOS
Hang in there! Check your vit D levels and magnesium.. also get some sun and look into grounding (earthing). Some evidence that might help. Keep in touch as to what you find out!
I can feel my heart beat. I've always have. Every time I bend over to get something I get triggered. I went to the ER ONCE when I thought I was having a heart attack. It was not fun. When I got there they connected me to those heart monitors they told me I was fine. That it was a panic attack But I don't know why. I was just working and then I try living a wheelbarrow in my trailer and then it happened. Long story short I still don't know. I might go to a heart doctor just to make sure I'm ok and I'm being taken care of if I do end up with heart issues. Much luck and love buddy
I understand what your going true I get migraines too I get palpitations when I bend over or even moving my neck or wen I sitting and getting up the palpitations come out from nowhere it mostly happened in the morning wen I finish eat breakfast
Interesting i deal with 2 types of palpitations. When i bend over or sit down i get palpitations, so i have to stand up and sit down slowly for them to go way. The second type of palpitation i get is the "nervous" kind. Today i was bending over to pick something up and soon as i stood back up my heart started to beat EXTREMELY FAST and irregular. I called 911 by the time the ambulance came there, of course i was fine. Docters/Ambulance say im FINE! I think when i bend over my stomach presses on my Vagus nerve (witch controls the hearts beat) and makes it go crazy, fine! But what are the palpitations i get when im nervous? i have acid issues in my stomach i think i have a inflammation in my esophagus that is directly next to the Vegus nerve and when it gets inflammation it presses on the vegus nerve. There are Interesting studies on Acid reflux, inflammation and palpitations. Goen to get a stress test done on 3/22/24 ill check back in. Comment on this so i can remind you Also ppl who eat to much or get bloated and get palpitations. To me that's pressure on the Vegus nerve which in return gives you irregular beats
