You can only listen to them for the first time once, and boy was it a doozy for us. Michigan based artist LOCAL NOTHING has been operating in a distant corner of the internet, quietly making music that challenges even the most open minded of listeners. But as Pat and Zach discovered, the band’s story goes far deeper than some goofy tunes.
Those tunes came across the desk of the Midnight Happy Hour duo late one night, taking requests from listeners. After a string of uninspired tracks, they were graced by the unique sound of LOCAL NOTHING. It may not be up to the station management’s standards… but hey, they favor those jerks on The Morning Drive, so who cares?
