To lose my wife’s love and my son’s admiration. Last night he refused to fall asleep until I came and sang him a song, then he went to sleep. Everyone has an insane alternate view of what they *think* life would be if they didn’t “settle down” and all roads lead to the people you love and who love you. Beautiful short.

It's hard to know whether its right to withhold the information of your actions from a loed one, but I belvie the mroalityu of this hangs in your heart. Being willing to fully turn away from a past action(s) is what makes the man whole again. If you can fully turn away and dedicate your life to your wife and family with true love, then sparring even your wife the painful burden of knowledge is the most intelligent and compassionate choice. I assume you follow similar philosophies.

This is beautiful. The more I watch it. The more it becomes like an art piece rather than a comedic masterpiece. It’s like that other side of you that only wants to party and be a cool badass that works for the Irish mafia and sure that life is cool looking and hella fun but in the end Corey reverts back to his old life after merging with Party Corey because he realizes that once he is party Corey that things aren’t as great as they look or seem on video and that reality is more dark and depressing than we want to admit so he finds his way out of Party Corey and back in the bed of his wife because he knows how lucky he is to not be party Corey anymore and runs home to his wife that he loves and realizes party Corey may seem cool and you may think you want to be Party Corey but you don’t. You find out you’re happy being just regular Corey. Also vice versa with party Corey merging into regular Corey. The reason he did that is because he knows he’s nothing without regular Corey and needs him more than Corey needs party Corey.

The sound design is top shelf! The audio propels this movie forward, with sonic perfectness.
Like that one guy said, video is 2/10th's of the film. If your audio is bad, it takes people right out of it. No matter how well you lit your scene.

@@connoryballantyne the emotional aspect is immediately nullified by the use of AI. I don't care about Resnicks history of using new tech, there's no justified use of AI scraping art.
This was genuinely so good. The psychedelic morphing scene seemed like it had a lot of thought put into the sequences and the delivery of "I love you" by (boring family) Corey felt incredibly sincere too. Can't wait to be a Corey!
