I use to put this on repeat, this was my jam and still is.
Listening to them reminded me of one of my favorite songs back then with the band The Deele with “Two Occasions” with lead singer Babyface producer and songwriter to the stars with his own big hits. After 7 members are Babyface’s siblings. This video is from 1989. At the peak of New Jack Swing era.🔥🔥🔥

After 7, Troop, Michel'le, Oaktown's 3-5-7 opened for him. Great goncert. Hammer did every song off his first 2 albums.

He doesn't sing falsetto. He's a counter tenor. A man who's natural singing voice is so high it's confused to be a woman's. He's pushing those notes.

Lemme tell ya them Edmonds gon sanggg😍 this song always just made me happy. Kevons voice is so comforting. Not sure if you checked it out but a few years after this Babyface created a fictional group called milestone which featured himself, kc, jojo, and Kevon and Melvin… you should really check that one out and believe it or not the live version where they performed on Oprah is so raw. Everyone sang their souls out but Kevon’s range is out of this world on that song
