Louie, you did a very smooth presentation on this truck. I've built it many times over the decades since it was first released, and always liked the original box art, although this box art is quite well done and interesting. Many modelers complain about the over use of chrome on the truck kits, but this one was fairly well constrained. I like that AMT is starting to add gauges to the decal sheets. Thank you for this video.

Very nice build. I am sure this one is like most of the AMT trucks, you really have to take your time on these. I really like the gauge decals. I think they make the kit great. Thanks for sharing.

Great build Louie. The finished model gives a realistic looking vehicle appearance. Nice explanation of repair made to the liftgate. The Morton Salt Plant in Glendale probably would like to have that model.

This came out nicely and I think it's only fitting since the factory is near you that you took it out there to take photos.

Very cool, I do think though that the decals needed more decal solvent. But other than that it was a cool build.

Really liked the video, Louie. Thanks for all the details and the tips about the kits. I do have one question though. What type of glue is that in the White bottle with the needle applicator. At first I thought it might be super glue but I saw you use Super glue in the yellow bottle later in the video. Thanks and keep the great builds coming.

It’s called Citadel. I bought it from a WARHAMMER shop near my house. Works great.

I’ve been building for about 40 years. I’ve probably built around 3-400 hundred kits.
