    If it’s not heavy, wet snow, try your leaf blower, especially a backpack you would be amazed how much faster it is. It’s like blowing leaves for the snow. Been doing it for years almost don’t even need a snowblower.

    Nice. Few things. Right handers (me!) start left side of blower on best estimation of middle line, and chute to the right (not left) :) You also started one bite more left on both driveways than you should have, but hindsight is 20/20. I agree with your technique. It is funny watching people not doing it this way, but they definitely get a better workout! By the way, I am a Buffalonian and there is much to be said for single-stage for almost a majority of snow falls, even here. Just stay ahead of it the best you can. A single-stage is so, so much faster than a two-stage. I have one each snowblower, choose the single stage way more often. Sorry, one other tip. Put a gas shut-off on your snowblower gas line, when it's stored for a while, shut off gas flow and run what's left out of carb to keep carb clean for next time.

    • @TheLawnFellas
      @TheLawnFellas  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes a single stage is plenty for me. I actually switched to a battery snow blower. Check out my latest video. It’s a great snow blower. A gas shutoff is definitely a great idea!! Thanks

    • @philmcclenaghan7056
      @philmcclenaghan7056 16 часов назад +1

      That doesn't make any sense. You start to the left row off-center with your chute throwing right? So what happens once you get to the bottom of your first line? You come back up the right of center and throw snow over your right shoulder directly onto the line you just cleared.

    • @TheLawnFellas
      @TheLawnFellas  15 часов назад +1

      @philmcclenaghan7056 I never threw snow back onto were I just cleared. Did you watch the video?? Some driveways were you can throw snow to both sides you never have to move your chute. If you have a wall like the one driveway then it’s harder to accomplish.

    • @TheLawnFellas
      @TheLawnFellas  10 месяцев назад +2

      The way I showed on this video is the most efficient way to blow off a driveway. Especially for a homeowner with a single stage snow blower with nothing in the driveway. And this snow blow is a very very good one you should probably do more research it’s going on 15 years old and starts right up. When I also do the second driveway I show how to do it with something Like a vehicle in the driveway. And I still go over the snow either way.
