This was a long one… This video should’ve been out days ago, but I keep losing motivation randomly so I apologize. Now it’s time to figure out which path to take, Yazn, Oliele or Rissa.
I got kidnapped in Hallowed Marsh. They took my clothes but left my backpack. Couldn't figure out how to open the gate with my clothes, so ran to town naked with my backpack. Yeah good times
I almost skipped everything and went to the desert asap and made that my home, directly after i went to harmanattan and guess who is stuck in a mission without the right gear (everything stomps me, went from barely killing insects to struggling against divine beings)
Gotta say i loved the vid i really enjoy the way you edit and stuff man also the couple of times you zoomed in to see a couple of trogs chasing you down or the shrimp v bird fight, awesome keep it up my man
Thanks man, it took a little long to edit cause the video was originally 1hr 50mins I appreciate the support 🦅🙏 The bird fighting the shrimp killeddddddd me
Guard and learn the stability/stagger/impact system, even without a shield you can guard to block physical damage, and once you learn how the stagger system works it gets much easier.
So important things to know, shops reset every three days. Items out in the world reset every seven days. So even if you’ve sold some of the items from around the town like the great ax, it will respond. Also chest out in the world also refill after a certain amount of time which I’m pretty sure is seven days. So collect all you can and his cell as much as you can Edit : to the question is this game hard. I have restarted a new character at least a total of seven times before by the eighth character I actually got it and now I’m playing the game because I was stubborn
Once i grasp the mechanics I feel like my confidence to navigate this game will surely increase. Right i’ll learn as I go, and take all the advice i can get from the community 🙏 also 7 complete play throughs???
@@tyeirl_ no not play through. Restarts. I play difficult games primarily because I like the challenge. I do not get angry generally speaking maybe a little frustrated from time to time. I have never thrown a controller or lost my cool fully. This game enrages me. I have a re-started from the very beginning so many times because I get into death loops. Having all my gear stolen, getting up and drinking my tea and potions only to get immediately killed as soon as I finished drinking the last one because something comes running up behind me. This game can be very disheartening
Yeah this is honestly my first time playing a game like this. I've never played melee combat survival games up until recently because I've always been an FPS nerd (besides my minecraft addiction from 2011-2017). So I always avoided them because my anger can shoot through the roof playing fighting games, or souls like titles. But I'm glad I've finally dipped my toes in this genre... at least for the time being
@@tyeirl_ I’m glad that you are enjoying yourself and entering into this sphere of gaming. Honestly you jumped into the deep end right off the bat. If you can conquer this game, you will be able to play this style of game with ease. I have played all of the souls likes, a buddy of mines even developing one right now that I test. I think as a setting, this is much more easily digestible because it’s kind of jovial in a way. I can clearly see the inspirations from the souls games. I also can see inspirations like fable, Valheim, and monster Hunter. when you think of it from the perspective of what seems to be the inspiration, it makes it a lot easier to learn the systems that are in the game.
You're actually right, that does make it a little easier to comprehend the other games. I have plans to play series that I've largely just been avoiding like Fable, Elder Scrolls, Monster Hunter (even though I use to obsess over MH binge watching videos cause I couldn't play it)
honestly thank you, not to long ago I wasn’t expecting to reach this many people 😭 I appreciate this a lot side note! i’ma check out this game tomorrow, i love the aesthetic. very ps1 like 🦅🦅🦅
@@tyeirl_ I think you found an audience with Outward! Also that's awesome, its a hidden gem I think Outward players would also enjoy. Lunacid was made by only one person, its impressive

As a veteran of this game with many complete playthroughs, my first piece of wisdom is this: Cheese it. Don't try to 'git gud' here, this game has an attrition style economy. Fights cost you money, and only reward loot, no experience. Use traps. Tripwire traps are 2 iron scraps, 1 wood, 1 linen. You can buy linen cheap if you need it. Spikes are 4 wood or 4 iron scraps. Make tripwires, load spikes into them, lure the baddies into the traps. Cheese everything. Only winning matters. Happy to offer any help I can
Everything in this game takes time and figuring, but once you do try those deeper options you're going to start to love this game. You place the tripwire down on the ground first, then interact with the tripwire and load it with spikes or even your enemies weapons. A mace in a tripwire knocks enemies down, a sword makes them bleed, things like predator bones and insect shells can be used as well. Tripwires can totally change your game, play around with them and don't get frustrated by spending time. This game rewards preparation. Running in is why you die. Be a bloody guerilla fighter, and booby trap the battlefield. Another good tip that many don't figure out early: buy one or two extra water skins, and gather berries. Using water and eating berries both give you stamina regen. Keeping these two buffs running most of the time will see you doing a lot more with that stamina pool. P.S. Two meat and two salt makes Jerky, alpha meat makes alpha jerky. All Jerky will heal like bandages do, alpha also gives you the rage boon on top of that
He often does, it's my favorite faction to run. Enjoy the slower pace of this game and plan ahead. What you can do to win fights is what you carry with you. Oil + linen = Fire rag Seaweed + linen = Ice rag Grilled (cooked) Crabeye + linen = Poison rag 1 hand Iron weapon + predator bones + linen = 😉 Keep at it. The tech tree is enormous, and there is a trick to beat everything. Try a bug with water in a cook pot / kitchen. Recipes aren't just for the characters, they're available to you at all times for all playthroughs, learn the good ones. Another hot tip for new players: up the ramp in Cierzo on a table are 3 recipes for makeshift leather attire. Knowing those 3 recipes by heart can save you a ton of hassle.
There be 4 factions you can join, you can follow oriell(elat idk how to spell her name) or yzan, you can stay with the blue chamber (people that try to take your house) or join the soroborean academy (harmattan) ive heard elat gives the best rewards but story wise i like harmattan

I just recently started as well. I was not pleased. Got stomped by a big ass bird, got kidnapped and enslaved... 10/10 so far
never would’ve thought I'd hear “I got kidnapped and Enslaved, 10/10” in my life and actually agree 💀💀💀… times have changed

You REALLY gotta loot pretty much every thing you see, especially things like that oil and the berries. Useful for crafting and/or selling
