Sunday afternoon in London - Tipsy Tea at Mr Foggs

- One of my favourite ways to spend Sunday afternoon in London is to go for Tipsy Tea at Mr Fogg's Residence in Mayfair.
Served in the beautiful setting of Phileas Fogg's front room where you will see all the amazing souvenirs collected by Phileas Fogg on his journey Around The World In 80 Days. You will have afternoon tea with a difference! Served with an infusion of gin, champagne or other spirits. No afternoon tea would be complete without cucumber sandwiches and scones with jam.
There is music, table magic and friendly staff.
Remember to say Pip Pip Tally Ho and quote Joolz Guides on the door to get a free welcome drink too, but make a reservation as it gets busy!
Tom Carradine performs here every Tuesday night and the Tipsy Tea is served on weekends.

Thanks everyone....one of these days I'll be a star!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this! Thankfully, i had a nice bloody mary to enjoy while watching. Good to see Tom Carradine back again. Don't know why, but I wish The Queen would join you for a night of fun. She really should while she is still young.

What does pip pip tally ho mean?
Being someone who has an attention for detail, I noticed the scones they served you had clotted cream on top of the jam. They must make them and flip them over since it's nearly impossible to spread cream on top of jam, as you noted in another one of your videos.
Fantastic, definitely would enjoy having tea there!
All of them seem to be in harmony with each other, may be all of Britain is like that in unity god save the queen
What a contrast from the Pie and Mash shop you visited last time. London is an amazing city of contrasts, and eccentric people, not found anywhere else in the world you go, that's why I love it so much. I do wonder though, how many people were just playing at being rich.
Well i did all my friends to dress up but i kniw a few characters for sure
Only in LONDON could a Tea Room like this exist!
London is for me the most magical, intriguing and splendid city in the world. I always experience something special while visiting and have one of the most beautiful memories of my life.. London is giving me such a special energy or maybe it's just love..
What a lovely place. Full of character and interesting trinkets, harking back to Phileas Ffog. Boozy tea in the afternoon is so quaint
@JONATHAN SUTCLIFFE lol I have no idea what you mean lol
Fantastic best cure for feeling down is to watch these vids always pick me up
Oh yes, Sir Joolz. A brilliant tip!!!
You woke up with a king horn yourself this morning?? Oh Joolz! Thank you and I wish I could have tipsy tea with all of you. It looks like tremendous fun. Personally I love Earle Grey. Pip pip!
Thanks Joan...maybe I should go easy on the innuendo

Whenever I'm feeling a bit down, missing old blighty, or just in need to tune out, I tune into your fantastic videos. I'm probably on.my 3rd or 4th binge watch! I always watch full adverts in the hope it gets you more money!
Ah, no other city like London! What a tipsy, joyous moment! Thanks, Joolz!
How fun. Seems like a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
All charm & class Joolz. Cute little companion too. Nuggets in this one : Neil Laughton of Penny Farthing Club fame and the song Tom Carradine was singing right at the end, "My girl's......", which few have heard of these days. A woman was actually dancing to it.
She'll be horrified that i edited it that way.
Thank you, Joolz -- heading to London this afternoon. I've really been enjoying your videos and I think it'll help me enjoy my trip that much more. Keep doing what you're doing! Very knowledgeable, entertaining, and your personality makes me keep coming back to your videos.
Glorious!! What great fun. I'm dying of thirst. LOL.
I'm pea-green with envy. Thanks, Joolz.

Interesting place
Hi Julian,
I just wanted to express how much I love your videos! I discovered them through the Charlie Chaplin upload (I’m a Chaplin fan) and was hooked! I then introduced them to my Dad who is also a history lover. He and my Mum once lived in London (where I was born) and some of the places you’ve featured are very familiar!
In short, I am so grateful for your channel. I’m missing the ability to visit London for short trips due to this awful pandemic and your videos are so comforting. Thank you to both yourself and your lovely wife, all the best for what remains of the Christmas break and the New Year!
Thank you! Leona :)
Dear Joolz,
My wife and I just love your Videos. Love the King Horn bit .....
Keep up the great work ...... by the way, there used to be a Miniature Cinema in Picadilly Circus , where for two Bob you could just walk in and watch great old Black and White movies , like When Comedy was King and others ........ Does this little Cinema still exist ?
We look forward to your next release.
Tally Ho
Dave and Lyn ..... from Down Under.
Watching in Dec 2020! lol
Merry Christmas to all!
Will definitely give that a go when I’m feeling a little more flush. Obviously not forgetting the pip pip tallyho at the door!!
A magical place🧡
Another place to add to my bucket list while I visit England next year.

Joolz Guidesis a English treasure!
Watching your videos makes want to go back to London like: NOW. ASAP. NOW!
Thank you for this wonderful work you're doing on your channel!
Best of luck.
Cheers!!!
It appears you really have a jolly good time. No matter where you are. !
Hi Joolz, how are you doing? Sorry to comment so late. I did really enjoy this one. Keep your boater on straight! Cee from the little haunted cottage in Ireland 💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀
Tea is best.
Another great video :) You'd love the Canny Mans pub in Edinburgh Joolz.
Great video Joolz,, roll on the next one...…...
Ka is lookin pretty dapper in that "far east" jacket
Excellent - I think i need to go there
I understand that- at least in the Restoration era- there was a wives tale that cucumbers were poisonous. Pepys refers to them as "cowcunbers". Probably makes sense since they are usually eaten raw and e-coli was abundant I'm sure. I just *love* your videos!
Hey Joolz, since they filmed a good portion of Detective Pikachu in London, will you by any chance do a video showing off some of the locations they filmed at? It’d be pretty cool to see how they transformed the locations to make London and Tokyo look like they merged together! Love your work!
Joolzy, another fun video! Please, in the future, when having a group video, it would be nice if you could introduce your companions. And maybe try to be a bit less quick on the editing. Let us linger in the moment a tad longer. Adding a minute or two to the video could make it less hectic. Thanks, I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Thanks John. I would like that too but sadly the process of film making is much harder than it looks here. The fast editing is because there was a lot of bad footage, difficulties with synchronizing all the different microphones and all the background noise from the music. I suppose I could have just made a vlog but that's not my style. There are plenty of people who can do that.
I agree about introducing characters but all the staff were very busy and some didn't want to talk and it's all very stressful and difficult. Then one has to think about an actual narrative of sorts. I mean, the film has to be about something. If I just let the camera run it's just a bunch of people making inappropriate comments and unintelligible noise. The filming actually required three visits to the bar. Thanks though! I will try to include more of what you say!
It looks loads of fun at the Tipsy Tea!
Back when we were allowed to have fun.
wow some beautiful high class English ladies in this one thanks for the invitation
nice one joolz!
And the afternoon has been unruly for a long time in Mayfair...
Bottoms up :-)
I love to be many times alone with my tea, reading good books away from crouded places like Beverly Nichols or Thomas Hardy, and many many many many people do.
This video was the BEST! So fun.
Ahhh my beautiful city!!!
These are really rather good..they make me happy.
Another fantastic informative video Joolz. I am keeping a log so when i come to England I know where to go. Keep those videos coming. Your friend from Bay City, Michigan
Don't forget you can hire Joolz to personally show you around London.

Brilliant video looks like a really good time, especially the magician that's. Really fun twist. Also Was very nice to meet you the other week, you signed my songbook at Tom Carradine's singalong in Mr foggs Tavern and I shall keep it forever! Look forward to the next video.
Went here on a recent trip to London in search of afternoon tea (after a google search for “fun afternoon teas”) to be sadly disappointed and told afternoon tea has to be booked in advance...oh well, should have said pip, pip tally-ho! Next time! Thanks for your video, looks fun!
Wooooh luv the programmes on here, but thinking stick to a weatherspoons as I'm just a peasant frm the slums of hemel hempstead, just had a butchers of the price list, like house rent prices!!!!!😂
great vlog!!
This seems to be where all the beautiful women in London hang out :) Looking forward to the Beatles London locations video! When do you think that will come out?
An afternoon well spent
You woke up with a big horn 😂😂 Joolz you tease
Not a fan of alcohol, especially with tea&scones, but when you brought out the guy coughing up Gran's sewing box, that was more than I could handle. Think I'll pass on that one,so thanks for the warning!
You sir are no Fun! You have Tea or you never come to London!
"I woke up with a Kingshorne this morning"🤣🤣🤣 Choked on me chardonnay. 🥂
Kinghorn... you naughty boy. But £44 seems like a lot for tea!
It was pretty alcoholic but yeah, it's a bit of an occasion i guess
ok.. I...pormona...egles...
Well this one has the most beautiful women of all Joolz videos, hands down.
Next time I’m in London I’m going there 👍👍👍👍
Quite good for Mayfair - oh dear
Good video
This is awesome!
Joolz, would you make a video about the absolute best fish and chips in London?
And explain how some shops don’t have real malt vinegar please. They have some chemical concoction that they are allowed to give you
Blimey Joolz a Mark Lammar look alike with you, lol. 😃
Anyone else remember Phileas Fogg Devilishly Hot Tortilla Chips? The best and sadly missed.
Must say that really looks like fun. Is that lady Egyptian as she said she was in de Nile
Do over seas viewers realise “Tally Ho!” Is a fox hunting expression , when the fox is sighted it is called out loudly and then the chase begins.
And that is why in 1940 when Europe had fallen to fascism or was fascist, and Great Britain and The Commonwealth stood in the great air battle, The Battle of Britain, the pilots shouted Tally Ho! When they saw the enemy, and charged upon them in their Spitfires and Hurricanes , they saved us from great peril. God bless them all. There were also of course pilots from Poland, Scandinavia, France and the United States. And some from other European countries like Holland and Belgium. They all must be remembered. Tally Ho!
LOL-Tom Carradine singing an R Crumb song, My Girl's Pussy. Mr Fogg's looks like great fun!
I want to go here!
