This scene is intense but the only thing that annoys me is why didn't jarvis tell Tony that a freakin missile is on his way
Stark did not have jarvis as a satellite in this movie.
He finished made it in age of ultron
No Jarvis was in this movie as Jarvis not vision you heard him say miss Potts is clear of destruction. He would have had Friday than.

The saddest part is when one robot was hurt and the other robot looked so sad.
Vexrow its okay... none of tonys creations truly die. He takes the robots back to fix them up 💕
Harry Parkin Tony rescues the robots! In the movie he is seen driving away from the wreckage with his battered robots. 💕
@@FlyfarHP Tony doesn't have children... His creations are his children. It's why he bonded so close to young Spiderman. He was like a son to him. I think that's why he always protected and saved his creations. Other than the suits that were made to be destroyed for the saftey of others. I love that they added that part... Him saving their parts to repair them. It shows he's not so self centered. And for someone to care about robots like they have a soul... Like how others care for animals like theyre human: That's great power.
@@RoninMilli well now he does have a child in endgame
Those robots’ names are Dum-E and U. They’re OK, Tony took the wreckage and repaired them after the movie. And you can see them again in Spider-Man: Homecoming when Happy loaded the cargo onto the plane and read out loud Cap’s new shield and Thor’s magic belt
i really love how tony immediately sent the mark 42 to pepper to keep her safe, really shows how much he cares about other people, especially the love of his life
That what I'm saying
Cool scene but people with normal reflexes have to stop doing this in movies. Unless you are Quicksilver, Flash, WW or Kryptonian there is no way you can: react and manage to suit like this someone mid explosion!😏
@@pantelisliakos2481 in fairness tony is the most not normal normal person in the MCU so it works. That combined with the fact that this kind of thing was running a thousand times over in his head at this point of his story arc, it would be more surprising if he wasn't somewhat prepared for this.
He could have lend rody a suit in the final battle but I guess they redconned that part
Tony already proved he cares about other people through out the whole series. And At the end He literally sacrificed himself. He always cared about people. And He confident personality suits him very well. Without that personality Tony’s character would be very dull
I love that Tony's first thought was pepper's safety
Tony might be an arrogant asshole but he cares about people so it's nothing special actually

Bro I miss this, the house was so cool, but so sad that all the suits were destroyed, especially Mark I, II, III, VI, VII. All of the suits that made iron man a thing and made history
The face he makes when the suits blow up in front of him. I really wish it focused on his face longer
The suits were pretty sad, but I also was saddened by the Audi R8, despite not having a heroic role, since I'm an exotic car enthusiast.
I think that adds to the story. It proves that he is more than the suits an therefore the suits are actually not what makes iron man
Even if they did survive they probably didn’t have the remote suit functions. Like the new Marks. 😢
He had the MK 50, he was ok
The sad part is, that all the suits get destroyed in this scene. Especially Mark I, II, III, VI, and VII. The suits that made history.
Should’ve transferred them to Stark/Avengers tower. This movie made it seem like this was Tony Stark’s endgame smh

@@darkgiant6933 Nope, those on display were original suits
At least there's 100% guarantee that MKIII was the original, since it still has the damage done by the Iron Monger
Didn’t they survive and get used later in the final battle?
Anyone else notice how Tony is always at his most heroic when he is not in the suit? In every movie he is in he proves over and over how much he is willing to prove he is that guy all the time, not just in the suit. He fought Bucky with just one hand of the suit. He stormed the Mandarins house with a glorified potato gun against a bunch of henchmen. He fought Thanos with half a suit when he knew he couldn't win but refused to stop trying. Tony may need be as powerful as the Hulk or Thor but he is every bit as brave as Cap and probably the smartest of the bunch. Phase 4 won't be the same without him.
That's how the writers humanized him. Good stories are driven by good characters, not just by robots.

This movie has problems, but I absolutely love the way they do tony with a half working suit. The way he thinks his way out with what little the suit can do is really interesting and well done!
Yeah, forcing Tony to operate and solve problems without all his money and magic tech was a great concept, and it's what makes this film work for me (though I'll also admit it's not perfect).
Go talk to the director of this film instead of b*tching about it in the comments. It seems like you know much better about making movies than the whole Marvel Studios combined.

To be honest, I could maybe see that Jarvis didn’t notice the rockets because they were just straight fire and not targeting so there was no lock which is what most defense systems register. The real question everyone should be asking is why didn’t Tony activate all his suits at once like he does at the end? He knew the mansion didn’t have the needed defenses which is why he was trying to leave. Still he had more then just that one suit he could have used
Radar
The Iron Legion wasn’t ready to be deployed at this point in the movie I don’t think
Remember, this is a story he's telling. He's probably altering many of the details for drama's sake.
@@clarkedawe3464Radar doesn’t work like that, you can’t catch a missile on a radar that’s just fired and do something about it before it hits. The stupid house didnt even do anything about the incoming missile.
centpushups you mean Jarvis
Exactly, the house is stupid. Probably one of DUM-E’s old projects.
This is the most improbable scene in the MCU. For some reason, Tony's house was completely defenseless while he wasn't even wearing a suit. That is ridiculous in so many ways.
@@MrGriff305 Why? He never had antiair missiles inside his mansion, only on his armours.
besides do you think world government would approve of weaponizing your home lol
Stark gave away his address earlier, but didn't basically everyone know where his house was and what it looked like?
I've been wondering about that.. maybe this wasn't his address at all. More like a holiday home or something. Everyone knows Stark is at Stark Tower. Holiday homes are kept secret from public. Billionaires anyway have plenty of them
It is because he was cocky by giving him his address. It was like saying you are not dangerous, come if u dare.
I’ll do you one better: he gave away his address and then was literally waiting to fight IN A SUIT THAT WASNT COMBAT READY
It was less telling everyone where he lived and more of issuing a direct challenge for 'the Mandarin' to put up or shut up.

3:31 sad Dum E lost his friend and lover Dum U most tragic moment in marvel history
Goodnews! He returned for them at the end of the movie. Butterfinger technically saved his life during IM1.
We have to remember that tony has now had two instances where he was on the verge of collapse. In Iron Man 2 he was going to die from the very thing keeping him alive and he didnt have much time, so he became reckless and immature. he was even ready for Rhodes to take the mantle and have Potts take over the company. Here he has severe PTSD from the Battle of NY and was so blinded by wanting to make an army that he lost sight of the functionality. Keep in mind that the Mark 42 was his first look into portability, but he forgot that he is more than just the suit.
They should’ve played up Tony’s arrogance more, to make this scene make sense. Why doesn’t he have the Mark VII bracelets on? He knows he’s being targeted. Why doesn’t the house have defense systems? He thinks know one would go toe to toe with him, for real? Much less come to his home. If all of that would’ve been established, this scene is flawless.
Exactly. Was Jarvis asleep all the time?? Similarly in end game why Friday didn't informed about a god damn alien ship teleported nearby

3. Tony doesn't have any security personnel?

The part where the suit flies to him and the way he suit up while being attacked is just insane super cool🎉😮
Crazy how amazing this scene was back then, even in later years.
I think one of the key things that I notice that gets overlooked in this scene is when tony is in the basement hanging on by the bar, that he is witnessing his life's work being destroyed one-by-one, you see the helper bots, and one is down so the other is trying to see what the problem is, and then the suits are all being blown up right in front of tony's eyes, after every suit explosion, it cuts to tony flinching, not just from the explosion, but from the fact that something he put his heart and soul into was just turned to dust in front of his eyes
The mansion literally demolished, but his suits and even his robot are well build. You see tony use his suits on autonomus mode on the final fight. He even salvage that arm robot. Jarvis, literally a program, can be reupload/reinstalled everywhere. This mostly are property damage and insurance thing.
In the first Ironman, Tony said himself that he was not sentimental. And to destroy the first arc reactor that he made in the cave. So of it might have been a little painful to watch, but I don't think it was as big of a deal for him as it would be for most people.
Israel Saenz oh shut up
Jawsjawsjawsrg But this is post-Avengers Tony, where self-doubt has made him rely on suits, and since he built so many for a purpose, and just seeing being destroyed outright hurts him and increasing his doubts and fears

- somehow the only suit he prepared is the one with zero weapons
-has like 50 suits under his mansion but never uses them
- has a super-intelligent AI that somehow couldn't detect a missile even tho the missile was literally on TV
For someone who's super paranoid after fighting an army of aliens and almost dying in space, Tony was really chill in this scene
This scene didn't really make a lot of sense and neither did the movie in general. You would think someone like Tony would have plenty of security, as in some suits on hand in case a villain ever attacks him and takes up on his open invitation. Literally zero defense mechanisms for his home lol.

Tony made the threat out of anger and frustration. Villains tend to rile up heroes in order for them to make mistakes. Its like when T'Challa was fighting N'Jadaka. He could've ended the fight early yet his guilt compelled him to show mercy.
Velvet Sky shut the fuck up dumbass stop trying to sound smart you’re stupid
Shitty writing
3:33 these robotic assistants are sometimes adorable
So underrated secuencie, 4 minutes of total madness
3:32 WAY DO I FEEL SO UPSET FROM THAT :(
Goodnews! He returned for them at the end of the movie. Butterfinger technically saved his life during IM1.

Imma tell my kids that this is Romeo and Juliet
Titanic theme song in background:
I love the look on her face when she realizes that he gave her the armor instead
Stop stopping line is my favourite.
Plus we rarely hear Tony yell. Downey's voice vibrates when he raise his voice, it's so satisfying
Jarvis: Sir, the suit is _not_ combat ready.
Tony: Oh, well, in that case, I'm sure all the terrorists won't mind holding their fire while I go get one that is.
I don't think he could even get one at that point, the armours on display required his robot buddies (which were damaged) to help him put it on, and his stash of armours hidden underneath the mansion would have probably been blocked by rubble
He didn't have an extra armor but he made sure it went on Pepper. Proof that Tony has a heart.
How nice of him considering he put her in danger in the first place
@@kbanghart Lol
Just proof he doesnt have brains.
I always loved how he put the suit on pepper just in time to save her 💜👌
The music in this scene hit extra hard when mk 2 & mark 1 exploded 3:45
3:08
Notice, what tony does is similar to what peppers does to Killian with the missile projectile
That's because pepper learned that from Tony
“Foreshadowing”
2:00 what we all came for! Anyone else ever look forward to seeing what new suit Tony would have and any MCU movie he was set to appear in?
Not anymore after the nanite suit ruined any ingenuity he might have had otherwise
@@shealupkesbut it's necessary for fighting thanos
“Do we need to worry about that?” She calmly asks as a missile comes straight towards them
who misses iron man suiting up like this instead of nanotech.
This is probably one of the most iconic scenes in the MCU to me
I think the House Party Protocol scene with all the suits flying in is the most iconic scene for me. That or the Avengers Assemble scene in Endgame.
Tony: "please don't tell me there's a 12 year old kid waiting in the car that I've never met"
Maya: "he's 13"
Tony: 😧
Too funny
@Joshua Fancher is that past sense? Do you understand it now?
@Joshua Fancher that's the thing with re watching any movie, you can pick up on so much from before. Especially MCU movies. It's pretty fun finding easter eggs and callbacks.
the fact that maya's death and that kid's lost of his mom made me sad
@Andres Jaimes actually almost 2013, particularly IM3 takes place December of 2012, 7 months after events of Avengers (which takes place in 2012). Also as it implied that it is christmas season in the movie and his PTSD is fresh.
His reflexes in this clip were insane! Especially because he thought to save Pepper instead of himself.
When the garage and the suits got destroyed my heart sank
R.I.P MK. I to VII and to all suits to MK. XLII
@@justsomeguyonyoutube3258 R.I P
Mark 1 to 42
I love the fact that every time he comes up with a new way to suit up and it actually helps him just in the next fight..
As soon as that missile hit Tony's first thought after "oh shit" was literally to suit Pepper up to protect her
Missile coming towards your destination on camera. "Do we need to worry about that?"
2:00 Best moment of the scene :D
I love how this armor is basically the MCU's version of the Extremis armor.
??😫🤮
@@joox3482 bruh
Yeah that's what is based off of since he had those things injected into his arm
Tony at the insurance company: it’s worth was about 10 billion dollars
Jarvis prioritized reminding Tony he had gluten free waffles for breakfast but not about an inbound missile 💀
Tony's track record of surviving buildings that get blown up is surprisingly good
