Gotta say....I still have a 7plus...and with the exception of dropping WIFI sometimes...I have 0 reason to upgrade. Waiting for the shoe to drop though...at some point the update will come where they blow my battery up and force me.
Just buy a charging case. I got an iPhone 6s with a mophie charging case for the low and have as much battery as these newer phones. And I’m less stressed about losing or breaking a $100 phone. Waiting for a really special iPhone to upgrade
i have an iphone 7 and i got a new battery for 50$ at a nearby phone repair shop. it has made my phone last way longer than it would have. my phone now has burnt pixels and is a little cracked so i gotta get a new phone now 😂
I was waiting for the 12 to come out to upgrade from 7 plus. I decided on the 11 pro because there is no 5G in my area and I rarely take pictures. The better battery life, reduced price and inclusion of a fast charger seem a better fit for me. Swore I wouldn't upgrade until the notch was gone, but my 7 plus bit the dust and four years of seeing stupid notches everywhere has tempered my initial disgust.
The notch makes no difference when you own one yourself youll see how fast you’ll enjoy the phone more than the negative nick picks about the phone that does not even make a difference.
i had the 12 pro but returned it after long use it hurt my hands and the weight gave me cramps the same happened with the 12 mini the flat edges were really uncomfortable for me even with a case. No youtubers talk or mention this the 12 pro does feel amazing and it is but after daily use overall i had to send it back. So for this i am going to try the iphone 11 pro
The 12 pro should have just been called the 12, no need for a “pro” model or a lower base model, plus their is an SE model that got released this year for those who need a more affordable iPhone experience.
The only real upgrade for me is 128gb storage for base model. 5G is not available in my country yet & night mode in telephoto isn't that ground breaking. I don't need lidar sensor. I do prefer curved edge though looks more elegant to my eyes.

It sure is. No offense bro, but X was a complete garbage. After one and a half year of using X it sank in my pocket during rain and you know what? I was happy it happened to me. I finally switched to 11 pro and that’s where I finally started loving iPhone. Absolutely satisfied with 11PRO and definitely gonna skip 12pro for now....it’s been a year and still flies good👍 Just to mention I use it in a hardcore mode like 12 to 15 hours a day with the screen on and tons of apps on the background

Well, don't know about you but this is not much of a difference. Tbh for people with older phones I would more be deciding between normal 12 and 11 pro - as those will cost about the same now.
Bought the 12 Pro and a little disappointed.Yes if you find 5G you can download around 4 times quicker here in Australia but I prefer my 11 Pro Max with the curved edge and much longer battery life.Only good if you are upgrading from a 3 year old device or are multitasking or batch editing very large multiple files at a time utilising the 6GB ram it has.
I’m in the same situation. I personally think the 11 pro max looks much better than the 12 pro. Not only does the it look more esthetically appealing but I even think that photos taken on the 11 pro max are much better. I even think that the screen on the 11 pro have much more accurate and rich colors somehow. The performance and the A14 does not show much of a difference from the A13. For me magsafe is useless since I don’t need my qi charger to hang to my phone and I’m certainly not buying an overpriced small charger with magnets from apple. The battery on the iphone 11 pro max is larger and lasts consequently longer. The quality of it is also better. In general the iphone 11 pro max is more premium since apple used cheaper components on the 12 series, not to mention that you get earpods and charger in the box with the 11 pro so I think I’ll go with the 11 pro max

Before, never! Now, probably many people! I can honestly say there are a few times where I would have absolutely taken a shot like that had I had the capability. We've been at weddings and my wife and I are all dressed up and portrait shot would have looked great. Also been at the Christmas lights at Columbus Zoo and we were all bundled up and took a picture, but it too would have looked so much nicer as a portrait shot with the background bokeh on the lights.

I just upgraded and unfortunately my screen is having some issues with brightness and black levels, but I’m getting it replaced so hopefully the new one will be better
I love the design of the new iPhones but ’m going to stick with my current iPhone XS Max. The only reason I upgraded from the X was for the bigger screen. Battery life is still on point and the phone still functions as it should. Also the fact that I’m only paying £15pm now instead of £70+.
The 12 pro battery sucks...and mag safe is a scam made by apple...they upgraded a little bit the camera and that's it...in the real world you won't notice the difference between the procesors

Removed charger but keep using so many plastic in packaging including the useless and impossible to recycle Apple sticker There is also the questionable decision to not include 120Hz display and reduce battery size to make space for MagSafe. Also need to mention the rare earth magnet for MagSafe is not environmentally friendly to mine/make.
Improvements are incremental, with technological advances this minor a moderate drop in price is expected which unfortunately did not happen. Also selling the phones with no power charger is simply an insult. Not buying the iPhone 12.
What I don’t understand about magsafe and their wallets is how do they work without messing up your credit cards? I mean, it should be self-explanatory in the name but I just don’t get it 🤔

No my partner has the Xs Max for 2 yrs he replaced the battery and it keeps going I have 11 pro max 256 midnight green and the 12 128 in blue. To me his phone last just as long as my 11 pro does. Both in healthcare working 12/16hr shifts.

My 7 plus has a severely cracked screen and speaker is broken (BT only) and until it's useless I'm not upgrading.
