you prolly dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my login password. I love any help you can give me
I prefer the production on this too. The sounds are much bolder - especially the big sounds sound bigger. I love Rachel's singing, but you really can't beat Greg Lake in that area.
Wow. I'm really torn on this one. I've thought about this, too. The composition, though, strongly relies on the narrative, e.g., "Anchored in an indigo moonlit bay Gold-eyed roun fires the sea thieves lay". How does one convey that musically unless one is already familiar with the lyrics. On the other hand, the music is rich and lavish and should be able to stand on its own. In which case, it would be something different. I guess I would have to come down on the side of 'you can't have one without the other'. I relate to Pirates as a movie.
If you haven't got hold of the original symphony orchestra recordings Rachel then you must have a very impressive string library- its extremely impressive- more to the point the keys are so much more upfront- as they should be, a problem for me with the original..- perhaps not as much as the bass should be!!!!!
Stunning. Rachel is a gift to all ELP fans. Certainly nailed her colours to the mast.

More importantly, did Rachel do the recreating of the sounds??? Because in actuality, sounds like she got her hands on some of the original takes.
Rachel is the sole performing artist as well as the (sound-) engineer and producer. No original ELP takes.

All you hear is Rachel, recorded in her infamous Bedroom Studio
