Random observation, But I can honestly say that whilst i was gathering clips for this video, i noticed that the "Grand Championships Arc" has some of the worst character and background animations of all the other seasons.
There is a shot of all the people in the stands surrounding the match in the dome and it is hideous!

While, this season is filler, I will give it credit that it was a filler that didn't focus on the villain going after Yugi. Granted the Virtual World Arc did that too, but it is shown that a series doesn't have to focus on the main antagonist dealing with the main protagonist, but instead a secondary characters being the central focus with the villain's agenda.
Omnicidal Clown i kinda liked this arc because unlike other Shonen anime that contantly feel the need to top themselves on a grand epic scale season after season to the point where it all just becomes strictly action and all character moments have become rarities, it took a step back and just gave us a regular tournament. No fate of humanity at stake, just personal issues. It was a great breather just before the final arc, epecially since it wrapped so many minor character roles satisfyingly.
Well, this half anyway. This and Dawn of the Duel were in the fifth and final season, and DOTD actually served a purpose.
Yeah that ad the fact Joey got to Duel his teacher Solomon Moto. Even though it's not canon. That's one of his best ones.

I always wanted this character to get more duels than just the 3 he had. Also I wish he found a way to get his revenge and make a comeback in Gx and sneak his brother into duel academy since the school is owned by his rival (Kaiba)

GX takes place 10 years after Duel Monsters so Leon would be old enough to be a teacher at Duel Academy. He would be too old to be a student. Yugi is as old as Atem in the 1st episode of GX.

The Duel Box Zigfried designed is straight-up the Duel Box used in the Death-T and Duelist Kingdom arcs of the manga.

He's the kinde of guy to selfe proclaim his owne greatness or who believes greatness is inherted and you don't need to work for it. kaiba was always ahead cause he knew you have to work and develop skills not just exspect to be sucsessfull thru nothing.
9:58 that card was used in yugioh 5ds when they used the norse mythology cards and considering they're tied with this deck is very smart

Siegfried is a character out of an old german poem that is essentially a tale. The tale is called "Das Nibelungenlied" which translated would mean "The Nibelungensong". It was probably created 1200-1300 in the middle of germany.

Best Name I know they are making Leon’s deck. Interesting how they finally made it and told us a month after he made this video. Also I heard they finally made Zigfried’s card’s(also a month after this episode was made) but I still haven’t seen them.

Kaiba is an aggressive duelist that uses high attack monsters because of his anger and ambition.
Yugi/Atem uses a more balanced deck of Spellcasters and Warriors with magic card support. Reflecting his dual personality and his willingness to work with his friends as a team to achieve success.
The hair and violet clothes of his are quite astounding.
I actually want to hear about Leon's deck and his profile.

Kaiba's exhibition duel is similar to the School Duel in GX.
Kaiba's main goal is to humiliate Zigfried to the public similar to Chazz' to Jaden.
Only difference is that Kaiba won and Chazz lost.

+RenoThomas No better. Imagine them making support for archetypes that are monster versions of villains from the animes. Like: Arkana the Mad Magician, Titan Archfiend, Z-one King of the Timelords, ect. Also imagine if they printed more Manga exclusive cards.

+RamiroRincon Divine Serpent Geh was a thing in the OCG before it got imported to the TCG. But imagine if we got a retrain of Orichalcos Shunoros that had the non-butchered effects that we got when it initially came out in the TCG.

Since the Valkyrie archetype is now made into the OCG/TCG, it’s only a matter of time until he comes to Duel Links.
This deck and Valon's armor deck are the two things I want most in Yugioh and with them constantly churning out nostalgia more and more now I really hope I get my wish.
