It doesn't have to be as big as mine (even though mine's nothing compared to some other youtubers 😁). Besides, going into more detail is always better than just sprawling outward. You could make pretty cool vignettes for your shorts with the minifigs and it wouldn't take much!
This is really cool! yes it is annoying having to walk into the bakery to go to your dentist appointment, or through the bakery and through the dentist just to go to bed, because if the doors to the bakery and dentist are locked you cant get to your apartment. But i'm happy with the original assembly square. But again this is really cool!
Loved the length, so there are no issues there. I really enjoyed seeing you try things out and readjust as you went. Often, builders miss out on the build's trial and error aspects, which makes it look too easy. Giving these buildings space has elevated than, and I love the recessed fountain! Can't wait to see how it's progressed since this was made :)
There are worse things 'a grown man could be playing with in his basement' - Like Mega Blocks. I Really luv the builds. Been catching up on all the episodes. Fantastic and inspiring techniques. My Lego town has a long way to go.
I totally love the longer videos! It gives me more of your city! It is incredible how great this is turning out to be. I can't wait to see how the city turns out!
I think the staircase was totally worth the headache. Great addition and great build. As for the length of videos, I think having a good mix is the best! I love when I can be doing something and a long vid can be on while I'm working.
Oh, agreed, I was just trying to be funny, but also keep a healthy perspective. I don’t want to turn into the dad from the lego movie, you know what I mean? Also, I think I’m going to go for a mix of video lengths. Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video. Anything up to about 20 minutes is fine by me. Hadn't thought about modifying the Lego builds, so you've fired my imagination. I'm jealous of your Lego room and the storage containers.
I really like the way you make your videos! Love the time-lapse showing everything, even when you have to break everything down and build again! I'm glad your channel showed up on my recommended videos! Subscribed!!
The longer, the better! I really enjoy this. I also think you've really hit the sweet spot in production value now in the series too. The Audio Mix is much better now, well done! I think you should have a 1930s-esque streetcar or tram running along all those street-level tracks! The Big Train seems almost out of place running through this particular neighborhood, It would be further outside of downtown.
Yeah I agree with the size discrepancy. I am working on a light rail train in the background but so far I don’t like it. I might color swap the tram from last years winter village set. I think that would look great.
Love what your doing. Maybe keep the sidewalk more to a minimum. Cities mostly have a shortage of space. All buildings are separate so far. That combined with the sidewalks create a bit to much open space imo. Besides that. Have fun! That’s the most important thing of course:).
Yeah they’re definitely a bit oversized at the moment, but it’s more of a pedestrian space than just a sidewalk. It will eventually be filled with people and food carts. I might take a chunk out of it to make a little car drop off or something too. Thanks for watching and the suggestion!
When I was a kid it was all about the space and underwater sets. I don't know why my interests changed so much, but here we are! I'm happy you found my channel too! :D
I’m loving your storage and organization. The Lego storage sub community on Reddit would appreciate it as well. I also love that with your bakery you set up the doors to pop open, pretty neat.😊
Well, the storage I can take credit for... and I have shared my storage cart with that subreddit before actually! It was a moderate hit by reddit standards I'd say. As for the bakery door popping open, I can't take credit for that--its part of the original set!
@@rebricks I understand what your saying as I feel the same, it’s about having fun and that’s what Lego is all about. I love being creative with Lego and since starting my channel I’m amazed how welcoming and friendly everyone is within the community, not to mention supportive too. I have a stop motion video coming out on my channel tomorrow, it’s taken me a month to film this by spending a couple of hours each night and I’ve finished editing all of the sound effects together to help try and bring everything to life and create the environment for the minifigs. Thank you for your time in reading my messages and also replying. Your time and your comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you
Yes! Its definitely worth the purchase. Its expensive but you get so many pieces! I'm pretty sure its going to retire soon, so scoop it up when you can!
5k like pieces? I mean it really depends on what you want it for… display? Any of the 18+ sets have great display value. MOC building? I was just looking at the Great Pyramid set because the parts it includes: there’s like 14 staircases and a bunch of leaf/stem pieces.
@@rebricks Yeah, I'm curious about the larger sets with more than 5,000 bricks. The Hogwarts castle, the Eiffel tower, the pyramids, etc. Thanks for the insight
Hogwarts is amazing if you like microscale stuff. I actually have almost all the HP sets but I put them all away because my kids started asking really specific plot-related questions and they haven't read the books yet! 😂
Oh ok interesting. Do you mind if I ask you for some examples of them? I’m interested in what they do for 30 minutes lol and how often they post new videos. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
Thanks Jayden, I have thought about it yeah. I’ll be experimenting with shorts but I personally prefer longer stuff. We’ll see. Thanks for the suggestion!
No need to apologize--everyone's entitled to their opinion! For what its worth, after watching it with my kids on the TV, I realized I should do more than just mix the audio, but like, you know, turn down the music when I talk. 😆
At first I thought, its an actual city lol! Good work man!
haha just wait my dude!
You must be building lego 24 7
I absolutely love seeing you rebuild the modular buildings I think it’s been my favorite part of this series so far
Then you’ll definitely like the next video!! 😉
Having an actual LEGO city has always been my dream, awesome city man!!
It doesn't have to be as big as mine (even though mine's nothing compared to some other youtubers 😁). Besides, going into more detail is always better than just sprawling outward. You could make pretty cool vignettes for your shorts with the minifigs and it wouldn't take much!
You can build a very small lego city or a micro scaled lego city
The inlaid fountain looks so good I can't even
Love your modifications to Assembly Square. Takes it to a whole new level

😂 mega blocks lol. I do wish lego got Pokémon instead of them, but oh well.
Thanks for your thorough viewership!

I agree, I think it was worth it too. Thanks for your input. I think a mix is probably inevitable just given how much one week can vary from the next.
I am a fan of longer vids, for what it's worth. And there is nothing wrong with grown men playing with toys
Oh, agreed, I was just trying to be funny, but also keep a healthy perspective. I don’t want to turn into the dad from the lego movie, you know what I mean?

@@rebricks Me too. I blame my sense of humor, dry like my lego coffers atm ; )

Honestly, love watching Lego builds. Very relaxing
Glad you like it! It's very relaxing to build them too.
The modifications and the fountain look really good😊
Thank you thank you!

I like that there's two alleyways now. I don't know why it just feels right.
That's because it is right!
this was literally my childhood dream!! You are so lucky this is so cool. Glad i found your channel
When I was a kid it was all about the space and underwater sets. I don't know why my interests changed so much, but here we are! I'm happy you found my channel too! :D
I can't wait to make enough room in my place to have a set-up like this!
do it!

You’re so kind, thank you!
Always wanted to have my own lego city as a kid. great work buddy
cheers!
This is so rad!
Thanks!
Wish I had the space to build a Lego city. Your extremely talented, great video and I’m really enjoying watching your videos.
I am woefully unprepared for the sincerity I have experienced from the lego community. Thank you so much!

Thanks for watching! I’m looking forward to it too!
My karma also is asleep! ❤
I need this train at home
this model is retired unfortunately, but there is a new passenger train. Its a highspeed green one!
Awesome video. Fun stuff!
It sure is!
Cool as
thanks!
amazing work! 🔥
Thanks 🔥
I separated my flower shop and bakery too it looks better
Yeah it just makes more sense right?
Nice Video!
Thanks for watching!
Neat. I'm looking into buying a lego set. Any suggestions on 5K+ sets?

glad you like it!
I've seen your other stuff!
That’s great, thank you!
Это похоже на то чего я бы хотел достичь
You can do it!
vids not long at all imo, most city update vids i watch typically run into the 30 minute length
Oh ok interesting. Do you mind if I ask you for some examples of them? I’m interested in what they do for 30 minutes lol and how often they post new videos. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
re:Bricks, your videos are next-level stuff.

Thanks Jayden, I have thought about it yeah. I’ll be experimenting with shorts but I personally prefer longer stuff. We’ll see. Thanks for the suggestion!
15 mins is better
There's only one thing I don't like more than music in the background on videos - and that's music while someone is talking.....sorry.
