These vids are so good. Finally someone is doing this with all the famous socal spots. Keep em coming!
Hell yeah man! The nostalgia hits hard
I’m glad everyone is loving these videos!
Sf pier nextttt
Yeah as a 89 kid this is amazing to watch omg
hubba hideout!!!!
@@DernBrothers
14:16 from this angle it shows how nuts Dane Burman's 50-50 was. It looks like he had to ollie out early into the hubba.
This has been some of the sickest content out lately, thanks for all the skate history! Love how much credit you give everyone.
I always hated watching skate videos that are too lazy to credit guest skaters and friend section skaters! Everyone deserves credit for all the gnarly skating they are doing!
@@DernBrothersTruuuuee that
Love this channel. Just a recommendation. NEVER change that classical background music. It makes everything being talked about so much more magical.
I’m glad we have people that appreciate us adding the classical music! 🤘🏻
Very true! It's make more interesting to watch 😂
@@DernBrothers and whoever put Big L to the Geoff Rowley and Colby Raha clips
Thanks for adding in other riders and not just skaters. Bike guys salute you.
We have lots of respect for all the other riders too!
It was the drop-in in the rain that gave me the most chills. Legend!
Haha thank you dude 🤍
Micah's 180 nosegrind will always be one of my faves, he made it look too easy
It’s such a rad one!!
That one has been forgotten about I think. It blew my mind when the 411 came out though.
@@DernBrothers I shot that Big Brother cover 📸
@@keithdavidson8569For real? Gimme some juicy back story, my dude!
Cairuma logo censored at 00:30 I love it 😅
lol I blured the name on screen from the skate video so that we could put our title on it without it looking weird. We weren’t trying to blur his shoes on purpose 😂
@@DernBrothers Ah cool, the end result was great tho :D we should start a campaign to turn Kanaan pro :)
The amount of clips you pulled is what makes this video so good, thank you for keeping the amazing history alive
Bros, Ragdoll was a legit madman. His part in blackout got me and the homies so psyched to go skate.
In person this spot is massive” in this video he gives A good insight and look at the run up the hubba looks tall in the video, but in person that Hubba is massive big salute to anybody who hit that spot
I could sit and watch these videos for hours, please keep making them 🔥🔥 love you guys ✌🏼
Glad you are enjoying this series!
i really really love how you bring up the bmx dudes that have done it to🤟🏻 complete respect brotha
Love that you do these videos and also show what has been done on the spots.
I love these video soooo much ! Thanks for giving me some skate history you guys are insane !
Great video as always. That hubba to rail spot you showed was so gnarly, someone's gotta do that!
this series and your channel is so underrated. just found your channel and i’ve been binge watching every video, so good
clive Dixon is a beast. also love these edits! thank you
Front nose blunt will forever be the craziest thing done on that hubba
For sure!!
Bluntslide is right up there imo. I have both of those tricks pretty well and honestly I’d rather try noseblunt down something before bluntslide
Genuinely one of my favourite series' on RUclips, keep it up!
Love these topics, keep em comin!!
love these videos man brings me back
Hey I’m glad you guys are doing these videos thanks fellas
This series is reaffirming my opinion that ragdoll is one of the most underated skaters ever
Really glad I found this channel. Good stuff boys 👊🏼
Incredible incredible knowledge. So proud of the quality of videos yall put out! Love it dern bros!
Thank you for watching every week!
I love that you've tapped into something truly interesting. I humbly hope/would like to see, something regarding local legends in this same vein at some point. Basically just these same spot videos, but about a park, but incorporate a day in the life thing like 411, but people who are sick but didn't get any attention. Every park has one and it'd be sick to learn about these unknown heroes. You guys seem to have the time and means to do this, I'd do it myself but I cant. Thanks for making these videos and take it easy.
That’s a very good idea
So surprised I never saw this hubba!!! So massive!!!
The thing is so high!!!
TY for preserving skateboard history
Hopefully there’s a whole episode on the round half cut boulders they have on the front side. Plenty of insane stuff has gone down on those things. Personally one of my favorite spots to ride downtown LA. Love the content keep it up!
I can’t stop watching these. 4 in a row
Commenting for the algorithm to push this content, y’all are doing a great job 🙏
Great video. Keep doing these 🙏
Underrated channel. Awesome content!
Definitely one of my favourite series on skateboarding
Erik penton putting Winnipeg on the map with that flip front 50
Love these vids! great idea for a youtube series.
The difference between Geoff and a few others here is how they got on this full speed and in fluid motion while the rest got on and sat on the hubba. Everybody here knows which ones looked better.
Absolutely! All the tricks are great but The 5050s, crook, blunt, tail slide, noseblunt, etc. are on another level from the rest!
We need more spot videos! Fucking love this!
I love the vids! I’d love to see an Oside hubba or Rincon episode one day. Keep killing it
We have plans for both of those at some point!
Many tricks I didn't know had been done there. Nice video!
Geoff made it look so easy
Yes a new spot video 😊
0:47 I literally have that poster in my room...loving this skating content. I grew up in a skatepark...Vans
Loving these videos. If you’re looking for suggestions, maybe the Oceanside hubba. Iconic spot where lots of tricks have gone down on
This is fun to watch 😄 human being a krazy to do gnarly trick 🔥
So sick for putting in Colby rahas clip!!!
great series !
Doing the lords work here gentlemen. Another epic episode. I know you Dern Bros are absolute gnar dogs, but you should do an LA High episode. On the brick banks. Hella history! Much love
You guys are the best ALWAYS$
Love how you guys included my brotha Micah Hollinger in this. Keep killin it Dern brothers 🔥👏 🙌
Please keep these coming 🤘
Best skateboard content!
Best series. Keep it up
Thanks for watching!
This is the first video of yours that I've watched. The thumbnails turned me away, I think. Definitely glad i checked it out. Dope channel. Good video. Im subscribing for sure!
Whenever you said, at the end, to give us a thumbs up… the thumbs up bar lit up. I’ve never seen that before.
Nice shoutout to Zach. He’s one of my favorite skaters. He deserves to be pro.
Just found your guys channel and really diggin it
love this videos. greetings from mexico
The scream on the second ollie had me in tears
Respect to all who have stepped to it!
Gareth!!! NZ represent
so sick love this series, the kicflip layback noseslide was so stee
Yeah he did it so smooth for sure!
You guys deserve so much more views and subscribers so heres the algorithm love comment ❤
There has been some insane rollerblading tricks done on that ledge too. Check out Chris Haffey, he landed some of the craziest grinds, like fakie 270 back sav and back fastslide if I'm not mistaken. I can be wrong but I think someone also fakie 720ed that gap. It would be really cool if you could also mention some of the rollerblading tricks done on the spots you show in your videos, just as you do with BMX riders. Trust me, there has been mind blowing tricks landed on most of those spots by inline skaters.
I don’t know why but blades never mixed with any of the others. Skaters, bmxrs, mxrs, snowboarders, surfers, all unite.
Blades are not included
@@nickkerr5714 Yes I don't understand either, that's too bad because we all have a lot in common and shred the same spots and stuff
Keep going!!!🎉🎉🎉
So damn Sick ❤
Hell Yeah Kenny 🎉
Haha thanks man 🤍
Many bladers hit Staples including two particularly notable stunts. On the set Burman hit, Brazil’s Carlos Pianowski gapped from the top of the double set to roll down the hubba in his unhinged part in the 2003 film Fruitbooter, and on the standard hubba out front Billy O’Neill gapped diagonally over the rail to grind the ledge, which is considered by bladers to be one of the most iconic tricks of all time. It featured in his SSM part which was released online in 2013 and it wasn’t even his ender! Go and watch both of these sections and enjoy the madness.
Awesome guys would love to try that 🔥🤘🏻
Hollinger.. Alaska legend
The blackout video still hits hard to this day 🔥
Ragdoll's Blackout part was my favorite part for the longest time, great tune and a great fuckin part!
Great video!
Great vid.
The noseblunt is just nuts. That thing is soooo high!
3rd and Army would be sick! I love that BA line there in Yeah Right
3rd and army for sure!
That’s a great suggestion! We would love to do that one in the future
@@DernBrothers love the vids! Keep them coming!
The Self Destruct shirt 🤘
Still have that poster on my wall
That’s awesome!! 🤘🏻
Came here looking for a comment on the sick fuggin NIN shirt.
@@brockduplechien2356 A man of fine taste. ✌️
Seen them live 7 times now and I doubt I’ll ever like anyone more.
Tool and Type O came damn close.
jaws is an absolute LEGEND. if you EVER hear his name is gonna be attached to something absolutely SAVAGE
303 what are you doing is one of my favorite skate videos
Gareth stehr cataclysmic abyss MC5 American Ruse. Such a good part and video
Vincent Luevanoes kick flip nose slided this Hubba in his thrasher part 💪🏼🔥🔥🔥
Rollerbladers have hit the hubba to rail on the end there. They’ve destroyed the ledges with tons of tricks as well.
THese are the best videos on the channel
In June of 2006 Transworld, I vividly remember seeing an article with Ragdoll doing a barefoot caveman bluntslide on that thing. Not sure if he landed it or not, but, 19 years later, I still look at it, hanging on my wall.
Beeeyyyooond AWESOOOOOOOOMMMMMEEEEE!!!!! Big shouts from VB/VIRGINIA BEACH BY WAY SOCAL-WATTS, ONTARIO, AND HESPERIA-SAN BERNADINO COUNTY AND Inland Empire stand up!!!
Man I had that rowley vans ad on my wall as a kid.
Geoff rowley wit some bigL, sick!
Knuckle head Tom 🎉
I think the nollie flip manual was the sickest. And the rowley 50 just because it was all style and power
This tree is terrifying made me hit the like button so hard😂
Good times guys 😁
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was like 13 when that vans ad of Geoff ran in thrasher. I was blown away. its still gnarly after all these years
It is very gnarly indeed! We grew up skating at a vans skatepark in Orlando and they had a huge poster of it there that we would always look at!
@@DernBrothers i def cut out the ad and had it on the wall. i appreciate yall educating the young dudes on skate history, its important shit
heck yeah!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
yall got some serious skate knowledge
Thanks for watching!
Best skateboard vids
PROPS as always! How you guys still do not have 100k+ subs boggles my mind
Sickkkkkkk
Holywood high, West LA courthouse definetly
Lots of rollerblade tricks on this too, but the craziest is Billy O’Neill’s gap to soul over the rail at 0:45 in this section: ruclips.net/video/BAddlGx8jUc/видео.html
Would love to see you guys check out the UC Davis gap!
