We rattle off so many tricks and skaters names off the top of our heads for these videos, I feel bad I got 2 things wrong in the moment. It was Mason Silva that did the 180 switch crook, not John Fitzgerald. I also accidentally said Figgy did a switch back 50 when I meant to say switch front 50
Also shoutout to @johnhill for reminding me that it was Dom Johnson that did the kickflip front 5-0!
Thought you were confused cause Blue headey actually did sw back 50/50. Neen was also the first person to back smith it back in the day but you killed it on remembering so many!
All good! You named 10 times more then i ever could haha
maybe they research before they go to the spot
@@angeloflip30thbhfcftb36 They do. But nothing is perfect in life.
What you guys are doing is wicked man don't feel bad for making a mistake! It's impressive you can remember this many tricks off the top of your heads :p
Dom Johnson did kickflip front 5-0 in the openeing sequence of 411vm "Comin' In Hot!" 👊
That’s it! You’re right! We knew someone did it!
beat me to it!
@@corruptfile03 same lol
John Hill/Dern Bros Crossover? When?
That’s one of my all time favorite videos!
This is my favorite series on all of RUclips. The amount of knowledge you drop with footy at each spot is much appreciated. So much history at a spot that most people walk right by and know nothing about it. I love skateboarding.
facts
I walk my dog past this Hubba every day, this thing is truly huge… respect to anyone who skates this.
Insane respect for your offhand knowledge but the fact that kaanan also throws down so casually is sooo sick. The people watching have no idea how beefy that ledge is. Love these videos
That’s what I’m saying bro! That hubba is fucked and he just sent it w some speed too🥶
Hopefully Zero is workning on his pro part. He deserves it.
I love the history lesson of skate spots.
And! When one of you grabs a board and slowly moves the board along to show us the trick in a physical slow motion.
The bonus is the classical music in the background makes me feel cultured.
Refreshing to see how hyped the people watching were. Good vibes.
Dude this is so awesome.
The fact he got a crowd at the end makes me so happy. You guys deserve all the love & success. You guys are hella dope. Happy I found your channel & subscribed! 😊
Love to see people enjoying skateboarding instead of being Karen’s about it
Bro him doing those tricks at the end front of everyone was so sick
No fear!!!
This has easily turned into one of my favorite segments
We are glad you are enjoying it
This is my favorite skateboarding channel, you guys make amazing videos!
crowd would have had me sweatin!! yall killed it as per usual
Haha the crowd was extra hype to land it!
Gotta respect that humbleness.... 5.0 sparks flying is legit
Thank you 🤘🏻
This channel is such a good idea I really can't believe it's taken this long for someone to do it..I'm not even a skater but growing up on race dirtbikes/atvs/trikes I really appreciate the insane technicality and variety of tricks and styles; I find these vids very informative and also appreciate that yall are bringing much deserved notoriety to the legendary tricks from way back that have been forgotten to time..just all around thumbs up, mellow dudes too🤙
Can you do the Santa Monica Triple Set next...??? that would be a great one! 😁
I think they already have!
😂
As someone who just got into skateboarding, I really appreciate these history lessons. It is so awesome to learn about. Skateboarding is the coolest thing in the world
Yes! Another Dern Bros video of an iconic spot!
Love this series can’t wait for the next one 🤙
Crazy trick list for that kind of spot. Respect to anyone who even tried this.
this series is so dope
Way to preserve the history of spots and educate people. Love these videos!
Love the crowd participation!!
This channel is such a gem. It's fascinating to see not only a compilation of all the stuff that went down at these spots, but also y'all being there really helps illustrate the scale of everything.
As a 40 year old non skater, ive learned alot from your videos just how you show how the board is positioned on the grind and what it is called, thanks for teaching
These must take an INSANE amount of time to get all the clips and put this together. Amazing job boys 👏👏👏
Craziest part about the nollie heel nose is he looked like he coulda got on a higher hubba too, he was still going up when he locked in. And you guys should do sadlands next
Man, these are really quality vids. The history and the clips being spliced in is *chef's kiss*. Love the classical bgm, too.
Thank you! We are happy you are enjoying them
This channel is pure gold! 🙏💥
Awesome as always. I love when Kanaan or Dalton get to throw something down too. That 5-0 was the best!
Love the content Dern Bros! 💚🛹
Respect for doing your homework...loved this video
I love the amount of research that goes into these videos.
🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻
Great history and then top it off with some gnar tricks down it. Very nice!
Best series on this channel, love it guys keep it up.
This was amazing. Grew up in o side, and that thing is huge. Not even the local legends I skated with, would skate it.. Neen William's, back smith, early on
We looked up the back smith clip. So sick!!
DBC..Daily Blessings Coming! .. Thank You ALL for Skateboarding and Everything, Everyday!! .. I liked the History about the SKATE SPOT.. Sick Video...
The re-watchability of your guys' videos is nuts. You guys give so much info and seem so passionate about the subject at hand that I find myself watching these videos 3-4 times each. Keep it up Dern Brothers.
Nyjahs switch front heel front tailslide definitely takes best trick on that thing.
Dom Johnson did kickflip f/s 5-0 in his "VitalSkate Mixtape"

There is nothing like when the random peeps give fucking props and support the cause 🤟🏻
We love when random people are stoked on skating!

Love every one of these videos. So much knowledge and you guys also shred.
Another great one. Thanks guys
One minute in and I just had to pause, like and comment. I love this kind of stuff. Please continue visiting famous spots and telling the history. Big plus that you actually show the clips of the tricks going down
Just wanna say you guys have one of the best channels I've ever seen. I can't get enough of the content and I especially love these spot vids as I wasn't privy to skate culture growing up, although I loved doing it. Currently sitting on a sprained ankle from a bowl incident so been catching up on some of your vids and they have been keeping my spirits high. You guys are getting me stoked for when I can get back on my board. Thanks for the awesome content.
Awesome history lesson.❤

It’s nice to see people that don’t skate appreciate the craft
It’s always great!
This is the kind of channel I’ve been wanting for so long. I like watching skate parts and stuff but their just repetitive. It’s more interesting seeing the falls and what goes into doing tricks like these. Also the history of iconic spots is one of my favorites
