Quite an underrated band in my opinion! I love the singer’s voice more than I can even explain. Stardust is my second-favourite by them, right after Mourning Star (which is an upbeat yet depressing song). A calmer song is Say Goodnight, if you want to try something more in that direction.
I saw them live years ago and was blown away. I wasn't sure what it was then but now I believe they are a mix of Tool and Static-X (rip Wayne) ... I think it is a great combo of sounds meshing well together and his voice embodies that.
I actually got so happy to see this reaction and happy that you ended up liking them more than you expected. Being a long time hard-rock and metal fan, I've had a lot of trouble getting into newer bands just because I've always had an array of bands I've listened to for so long. But Gemini Syndrome has become one of my absolute favorite bands within the last few years. To the point where I plan to get a tattoo of their band symbol one day, which also works because I'm a Gemini myself. Some other songs that you should definitely react to....Alive Inside, Say Goodnight, Remember We Die, Pleasure and Pain, and Syndrome.
