Dude Aaron Nordstrom has become one of my favorite singers and this band is now one of my favorite bands.
I like the meaning of this song.
The singer said it's about seeing the ultimate power within people.
That's where the term 'i want the god in you to meet the god in me'.
The blindfold on the woman represents her diving into herself and seeing her inner potential.
It's pretty cool.
I thought its about two people trying to cope with the self-destructive void within by being lovers. Even when they die they still have each other

Die With Me' is an invitation for the listener to come along on the journey of self-discovery with us, which ultimately leads to the death of the lower self and the resurrection of the higher self. Lao Tzu said, 'The one created the two, the two created the three, and then came the 10,000 things.' 2 and 3 respectively correspond to the male and female energies. 2 being a single line and 3 being a triangle or vessel. Therefore 23 signifies the merging of the seemingly opposite energies of male and female."
The blindfold may represent the idea that we often cant see our true potential until we manage to actualize it

And the name of the song title is also a nice thematic reference to "Remember We Die" off Memento Mori.
This band has been on my radar ever since 2013, when I first discovered Lux. Great shit as always, with true messages to give. These guys have it down. They have their own sound, they’re storytellers, and they are genuine live at shows.
Holy 2000's vibes, this is absolutely perfect. Bouncy, heavy and melodic; reference to pleasure and pain. The tones? Jesus man I can't even explain the feeling, you guys have fucking blown it out the park here.
I love this band and I keep thinking of what they remind me of and it's definitely 2000's I keep thinking 40 below summer, sevendust and flaw. That's not a knock on the band...that's good company.

My unpopular opinion is I'm kind of digging this release one song at a time thing. Really gives ya time to appreciate each one. And by appreciate I mean, play on loop for days on end.
I like the one release at a time too, so then I don’t feel like I need to listen to the whole album right then and there. I have time for all the songs on the album.
I do songs monthly (I'll throw a cover in if I feel like it as a bonus). My fans want more. lol It's a good problem to have!

Had the pleasure of seeing Gemini Syndrome at a small venue in 2017. They were EPIC! Aaron Nordstrom is a great lead singer and a real down to earth kinda guy! He came out and mingled with the crowd before and after the show. It was AWESOME! 🤘🎶

In 2015 I seen Gemini Syndrome when they opened for Avatar. They put on a killer set! Very good musicians! I met their bass player outside the venue and he was super-cool. Very nice person! Overall, a great day that was! This song rocks and I can't wait to see them again soon.

Saw them July 17th, 2022 @Inkcarceration they were the opening act due to weather. Gemini Syndrome completely tore that stage up and rocked so hard. Afterwards the drummer came down to the crowd and stamped the front hugs and all! Amazing performance!

The riff on the beginning reminds me a little bit to the song "Animals" by Architects 👌.
So I have never heard of this band until one late night it played on my local radio station and I Shazam this song to listen to it again when I get home because the melody and the way the song flow made me love it so much then I started listening to their other songs and honestly I’m glad I found them. It’s like a new awakening for me and now I listen to their albums when I’m working on repeat
Glad to see an ad for them. Have liked them for a long time (after I found out Aaron used to be the guitarist for Otep, and I looovvveeee Otep) and have kept up with them off and on throughout the years. They still don't disappoint.
