I don't know who the hell pissed them off so bad, but I'm glad they did. Nicely done guys. This is the maturing I wish more bands would do...get heavier not softer.
Young band sees the world from a certain perspective: Elites, the rich, the ones with privilege, upset about having less, about their needs not being met and going through bad relationships. They make money. They do what they love. They start families. They get more privilege and more opportunities. If you're writing from nothing, of course it's going to sound pissed if you write metal. But if you've been doing what you love for two + decades, how much anger will you really have? Hell, too many bands manufacture anger at absolutely nothing and break up because of mental health issues related to never enjoying their lives or accepting the love their fans sed to them. We say 'get help' and 'life isn't so bad, you're RICH' but still want them to dwell in darkness and be pissed off. It's pretty fucking hypocritical.
I mean, not to get personal, but if your outlook is angrier and more hateful and constantly pissed off now than before you had a kid and you can carry that anger and never find joy with them as a part of your life, then you'll see them as a burden. And they'll just end up hating you. It's weird that, for fans of heavy music, some fans expect that musicians should only ever express anger. And let's be blunt: metal isn't bigger, because that's the actual perception that people have of it. That it's literally just anger. And why should I listen to a band that's only angry? I can't fucking relate to that. And I'm really sorry if that's you.
Did anyone else get into this band from songs like Don’t lean on me weigh down deaths hand ECT then kinda not really keep up with them too much and somehow stumble upon this song and think “holy shit this is the same band that did those songs!?!?!?!” Cause that’s me

Those drums are fucking amazing
Great to see you still got the heaviness in you.
Damn. You still are my favorite band and will always be. Much love ❤
Faaaarrrrkkk…..
Monster track
Those lyrics have torn my chest open, but that sound has stitched me back up
Thank you Amity - on repeat until the album drops
I don't know who the hell pissed them off so bad, but I'm glad they did. Nicely done guys. This is the maturing I wish more bands would do...get heavier not softer.
Young band sees the world from a certain perspective:
Elites, the rich, the ones with privilege, upset about having less, about their needs not being met and going through bad relationships.
@@nolankuffner3573 don't relate to it then, nobody asked you to.
Did anyone else get into this band from songs like Don’t lean on me weigh down deaths hand ECT then kinda not really keep up with them too much and somehow stumble upon this song and think “holy shit this is the same band that did those songs!?!?!?!” Cause that’s me
*What hell opened to release a song like this? You guys are amazing. I'm going crazy.*
wow wow wow this awessome
Rip Louie! Beautiful song Amity gave me the chills. I'm tired of seeing the ghosts of my friends
Incredible what potential this band has. Been a fan for more than 6 years. Big up from Romania!
