We got possibly the biggest teaser image for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 yet!
As usual, I breakdown the new images, giving you my thoughts, theories and details you might have missed!

The 1006 experiments fingers look like sewing needles which was a key process part of poppy’s creation so I could see a scene where we will witness a creation of life with the 1006 sewing them together.
Kinda like the Beldam from Coraline, she has sewing needles for fingers as well.
We should give the Prototype another name, how about Edward Needle Fingers.

that would make sense about why this creature looks stitched together.
Something you said really stuck with me - what if the ending IS you bringing the building down? What if someone is down there, perhaps not the Prototype, that is actually trying to REPAIR some of these toys, the good ones, the ones that haven't been fully corrupted - the children, to counter the ones who doomed them all to this hell-hole, such as Laith and the Doctor, for example? If that's true... what if the toys that are saved, the ones still holding onto their humanity, help you escape before it's too late? That theory has got me REALLY thinking.
That likely is the case.
I mean what else could the ending be besides the protagonist dying or escaping?

I recall a while back that the devs used a sun and moon image when referencing upcoming enemies in chapter 3 in a discord message. My prediction is that the "moon" was a symbol for the purple creature seen in the second chapter 3 teaser, while the "sun" was a symbol for the yellow entity in today's "heretic teaser."
The purple monster seems to be a bit of an "owlman" crossed with a cat in my opinion, while the "yellow entity" looks a little like a dragon (maybe even a grypon) to me.

@@literallyinsanelycool28 that is probably true actually. It’s been quite a few months ago since I last saw that message, and my mind must have scrambled the details.
However, I could’ve sworn hearing something about a gameplay mechanic featuring a duality of one enemy active during the “day” and its “sibling” roaming at night. Maybe just fans reading too much into the cracks.

the face that tericho said was the new monster i actually think might be mommy long legs, or more like her upper-torso/head. it also points attention to the fact that i think the colouring of that face isn't the same shade of colour as the new monster, it isn't purple enough for it to be. It could possibly be a mutilated mommy, ripped apart, changed, and now repurposed into becoming part of 1006's new body. Just a theory tho. A GAME THEOR-

Oh I love that theory of that thing in the teaser being several small toys piloting a Frankenstein monsters like body to attack and keep intruders out

I had a scary thought, what if after the prototype and the other toys killed the worker and higher ups they than brought them back to life as something else to torture them like they were until they death and get brought back to life to continue, like one of the death screens say their are fate worst than death here.

Somehow I think I get it? Either that or its an odd theory/hypothesis.
I think they needed children because the smaller humans could still fully function as a small sized toy without too much complication, whereas the man who ended up as mini Bron was an adult so the doctors/scientists probably weren't able to keep all of the necessary brain functions due to his larger size than the toy. They would have had to remove something in order to make him fit. They did say he had differences compared to the other toys, aside from his declining health and cooperation with the transformation, although I might have to rewatch that video since I can't remember exactly what they were referring to and whether they stated it before or after the attack on mini Bron. It would make sense to me though, that the children had an 'easier' time adjusting because the scientists probably didn't have to remove much of the body or brain for them to become the toy, just rearrange some parts. All they would have had to do afterwards would assign some serious brainwashy therapy and some actual physical therapy to fully convince the child they were that toy (if we were to assume the child didn't know what had happened to them through several possible evil ways, or if they were too young to understand the situation. Either way, it seems the children found out what was happening soooooooo yea). Anyway, I mention this cause PlayCare is for the young kids so it would make sense that all the toys there would be tiny cause all the kids there were lil tykes, yknow?
something i just realized, is we dont know if that hand we saw in chapter 2 actually IS 1006's Hand.
if you were operating a shadowy group in an abandoned factory, where you could be theoretically attacked by anything, would you personally go over to where someone who failed you is, and steal their body? No, you'd send a comrade, potentially....your Left hand man?
yeah but if that was a left hand that would suggest the hand at the end of chapter 2 wasnt 1006, since it was a left hand. atleast i think so

Maybe Daisy will appear in the chapter as an ally, as yellow is opposite of purple, I heard that there are theories that the purple monster is night or sleep themed. And Daisy could be Day theme. (And I heard the name means Day’s eye)

I want this chapter to be horrifying. The first two were okay. And I wouldn’t have been able to handle anything serious when chapter one or two came out but now this had better be awful. Been eating almost years and I know it won’t disappoint

watching chapter 2 playthroughs only made me jump twice. i want to be screaming my goddamn head off. this game has so much potential yet nothing has been that scary yet.
Interesting there is talk of salvation and there are religious rituals, there are three chapters, three toys, three pairs of eyes, three monsters:

My pretty good theory: the purple thing is A skunk cuz he can release gas and has the same claws like a skunk right now lets call the purple thing gassy
i can tell u that i think that mystery creature looks like a big yellow bird/owl toy mascot. there was a drawing of it online. there’s a bird theme and dragon theme with the purple fuzzy one breathing fire/gas/smoke
what if the toy we saw in the trailer is from the same toy line as Catbee and PJ pugapillar? its just two animals fused into one? this one however was probably made only for the orphans to help them feel calm and to monitor them, it probably releases the gas to collect children the scientists intended to use. maybe when 1006 broke free it convinced that toy to help him get revenge?

Im fairly late to this, but an idea considering the purple hand could be that the red has will put us to sleep, and whilst asleep we can play an altered version of the game

Why was the paper waving in the poppy playtime teaser trailer 2? And if you brighten the image, you can see something that looks like huggy wuggies hand in the bottom left corner. If you cant find it, it is where the number three leads to.
just had a thought - the purple hand is on the floor, almost like a launchpad.. could it be that the ‘purple grab-pack’ might be a mechanism similar to a pogo stick?
maybe it will have the same power as yellow hand just as what we all were predicting?
Great to see some new content on this, You are my go to source! always solid! I really hope they deliver on the new chapter and theres more to come. its been such a great devlopement and I'm hoping they go far with it. OR EVEN a site 2, mwhahaha. Side note a few games you might like that I came across recently 'my friendly neighbour' does feel like poppyplay time but a different muppets vibe, the other two are quite similar and very short, 'no one lives under the lighthouse' and ' the window are gone.
I played MFN and really enjoyed it! I had a video planned but got too busy! Maybe I will revisit it one day.
What about the phone from Project Playtime? Wasn't there something that allowed for info to be passed the longer time goes by? Try going back to see if the prompts have changed
Could the children be creating the cult? Assuming the children were converted into smaller toys the toys themselves could have banned together to destroy the factory and stop the experiments. Lead perhaps by poppy herself who clearly seems to have a large objective in mind for us. Or perhaps 1006. It might be safe to say the children while still human formed a bond and attatchment to a toy that started an idolizing following that after they were turned became more of a religious faction

I think the big evil enemy has little minions that patrol around. Maybe they’re not dangerous on their own, but can be lethal in numbers

Me and my friend looked and theorised the teasers (specifically the first) and concluded that the purple hand will most likely have a magnetic ability.

ok here is my theory
The cells are hwere the childeren are held when they are bad/when they will turn into toys ( thinking back to the school merch video when the kid was thrown into a cell just like this for doing something bad
And the tubed on the wall is for the gas to get to them ti put them to sleep and the animal down there is like some sorta guard dog ir something
But now that the purple thing has playcare for himself pretty much like he is in control of it he has made it a place to put the ones who fail in the cult the ones who betray
So thats why the monster is down there it was thrown down there to be picked and ripped appart by the toy versions of the purple toy Because remember they said they have plans to add our ANTAGONIST to pjpt so it’s not multable only one but they could do something like huggy like they have Minnie with them
The photo kind of gives me Oogie Boogie vibes, maybe small enemies have combined and created a massive one?? The stitching and the faces in the body???

What if it’s one big toy with a bunch of small toys sewed on to it like one creature with a bunch of eyes because the other toys are still alive and those toys tell the big toy when they spot us so it’s really hard to hide from it because of all the little eye and going along with what tericho said kinda what if they can hop off the big toy and walk around searching for us while the big toy is busy with something or another (hope that makes sense)
I think the only thing here is that experiment 1006 revealed himself at the end of chapter 3
Ok I have a theory for huggy, so we see huggy try to kill us in chapter 1 but we can see in chapter 2 poppy helps us then she try’s to kill us but when she does try to kill us her pupils are bigger and huggys pupils were bigger so I think we’ve only seen a evil huggy but it’s basically confirmed we will see huggy again with the hints in chapter 2 but I think we might see a good damage huggy and saves us it’s a stretch but many other RUclipsrs have pieced stuff together that’s like this or huggy will want to kill us.

With you talking about escaping children. It made me think of the MC. One big thing is how did a letter reach us. Something or someone must have been keeping tabs on us. I believe two things from this point about the MC 1. We were a worker from the place. 2. We were one of the children. Mommy confirms this when she states that we were there and a part of it. Staff are of course there and a part of it. A child is there and a part of it because they were an experiment. What if the dark side of chapter 3 is seeing where you came from and have memories. Maybe a toy talks about your past. The tests seem kid-like and you can do them because of what you had to do as a kid. We are not a toy because we had a life on the outside. I don't know how long the time gap is between the closure of the factory and when we enter. If we were a staff member then years would be added to our life making it harder to do things. If we were a child that would make us still young. It is strange how easy and relaxed we are following a doll around. I'm an adult and I would find it hard to follow a doll.

I'd really like to have an enemy we need to defeat with our brains. Running away from them and then pull a lever or a box down is exiting but as a fan of little nightmares, there are other ways to trick the enemies with different mechanics. Like the janitor is blind, so you can survive by distracting him into another room while getting by him and so on. In the end there are a lot of chases in little nightmares too but I like that you constantly need to puzzle around so that the monster doesn't get you.

Have you ever heard of the saying "3 racoon in a trench coat" or have you see the movie "Coraline?" There's a scene in the movie where rats are all stacked together inside of clothes and a hat to give the illusion that Coraline is speaking to one BIG person. When she takes off the hat, it reveal a rat that runs away, followed by the rest of all the rats scattering from the clothes.
If it's true that the enemies will be 3 small toys, I believe we will have a situation similar to the Coraline scenario where the 3 enemy toys will stack up on eachother to control one BIG boss monster toy.

I love God, but hate religion.
I love the ideas for chapter 3 as there is still a lot we don't know and I love how Mob Entertainment is hyping up is the chapter with how everything is a mystery especially with the new main antagonist for the chapter.
Few of obversations mucking around with the brightness:
1) There's two metal doors on either side after the sponge wall finishes.
The left one has a key hole and the one on the right has a poster/ sign or drawing on it.
2) That scratch and arc of colour in the middle looks like an eye socket.
Doesn't match the purple monster.
3) Those hands look reminiscent of mommy long legs.
4) The floor looks broken, as if the monster is pulling itself up out of the ground. (Looking at the stance of the arms, it's about to grip the ground to push up.)
5) Boxy boos finger reminded me immediately of a raptor. Tapping the floor listening to the environment.
6) The bandages that you said; there's two strips of metal (I'm pressuming) to the left of the arm of the floor. Perhaps panels of broken metal has become it's armor.

Personally, I think we’re dealing with either Bron or a dragon who exhales the red gas, and an unhinged candy cat, acting in the same manner as the Cheshire in Alice in Wonderland.

In the first picture the circle that usually indicates how much you can stretch your grab pack is now something that looks closer to a crosshair in games that have some range. Could this be a hint that we will be able to shoot the gas potentially?
