Just a quick note, I am aware the images used in the Russian Sleep Experiment part are all fake and not relevant to any real experiment, I was merely using them to illustrate the point. I don't have the ability/skill to create my own graphics yet, so I am very limited. This means I sometimes need to use images from Google to paint the picture. Hope that helps!
Yeah honestly I'm glad this "Russian sleep experiment" is fake, when I heard about it, I would have trouble sleeping for days and thought it's actually real.
Yep
I don’t think Richie is the player Richie was a caring man toward the children but i guess the player is the doctor dr.soyer Pierre said that the dr was replaced that’s why he’s not in the hour of Joy 1006 hated the doctor that’s why he was demanding his presence in the hour of Joy he wanted him dead or at least he wanted to kill him 1006 did ask the doctor how does he feel And we can see that he’s feeling guilty after that we can see it in the reversed radio thingy
@@nawelnounou652 Oh now that's plausible. All of the "Guilt haunts you" stuff as well.
Hi, i wanted to tell you something i found on little nightmares 1. In the chefs bathroom, (im not sure was it that but i saw it somewhere in the chef part) theres a photo of a boy. I realised that when i looked at the concept art or the drawings you can watch in the extras thing, theres a pohot with i think 5/6 children. The second one is exactly like the little boy in the photo. I hope you see my comment. :D
I think it's possible Kissy was looking at her sister. The two girls in the picture are dressed the same, but this just might be how they dressed the children.
Cool theory
Ye that can be trye
Who is Tyre?@@InactiveUser29292
And I noticed, on the wall Kissy is facing - there is a girl with pigtails. Poppy has pigtails . .
I almost wanted to say that Poppy is het sister, but I think that's a field too far 😅
Hot take on the fake money, maybe they used it as a way to teach the kids how to use money, not all the staff knew about the experiments so they have to keep up the idea that they are trying to prep the kids for real life
This makes so much sense! A lot of orphans *did* end up getting putting into proper homes, so this just furthers the point that not every employee knew of the experiments. I'd say most who died in the Hour of Joy were "innocent" in the fact that they didn't know what was happening.
not sure why tericho didnt notice that money input was was very close to the ground almost as if it was there to be used by children. maybe the toys were payed in fun bucks but for staff they went home eventually and when they did they needed normal money
Maybe they were training them to always buy playtime co toys when they they were realsed from the orphanage
A more cynical and realistic look from this company's perspective is using an old banned method of making your own local currency that you pay the workers.
This money can only be used in your local town and so you can set the prices and rig it to hell.
This is what the song 16 Tons is about and it's no wonder it's forbidden now.
But I wouldn't put it below this company to use this method for more control.
@@magnusm4 The rigging of prices is not completely negative as if there are any demanded goods which happen to be in short supply you can jack those prices and only those all the way up as an 'organic' way to shift demand to more available alternatives.
These things stick out:
1. you pass through red gas as you enter Playcare. This could just be a trick the game uses to load the inside of the dome and de-load the outside, but the red gas was used specifically. Is the player's entire time there at playcare not real or altered?
2. the hole where the tram goes into Playcare could be the "moon" that hoppy was talking about. Hoppy could have actively been trying to jump out the hole and escape, which is why she tells us to not look down.
that could mean Ollie was a hallucination all along if point 1 is real?
@@cocogoat9531I noticed that Ollie stopped talking after we dealt with Catnap.
I think the red gas was just there cause if what we saw wasn't real, if DogDay or one of the smiling critters killed us we would wake up cause it won't be real then. So I doubt it was just in our head.
@@HuffyPupi might be wrong, but i saw on someone’s account that this was a bug and got fixed in an update
@@HuffyPupAfter the update there's an additional Ollie dialogue after defeating Catnap
I don't think Mummy Longlegs understood that the kids were being experimented on. This assumption is mostly because of her dialogue talking about how the kids would "come for games, and never come back. They left Mommy to die alone. Mommy didn't deserve that!"
She blames the kids for leaving her, but if she actually understood what was happening, I don't think she would have.
i like this theory. this honestly makes a lot of sense.
i also wanna point out that you also call her mummy and its not just me 😭
@@sk3tchyy42 Haha, it just looks like it should be correct, damn it
@@Anna464 yeee, i mainly call her mumma tho lmao
That does make sense, as she seems more pissed off about her own backstory than the whole story over all, plus she is a child from what we know of (and we also know that sometimes the experiments forget their memories once they are toys via that one video of the employee turning into one) so it’s possible she was really new and they did a good job not letting her know what they really did
The whole desgin of PlayCare gave off a very Cold War-era bunker but turned up to 11, and I'm so glad others are seeing this too. It genuinely feels like how Americans would've set up a "town" underground if it had come to nuclear war, and every attempt to try and accomodate the children specifically to make them feel "normal" and that "everything is fine" just makes everything more eerie and creepy.
3:00 I'd like to mention that this doesn't prove Stella knew Catnap was a former orphan. She knows the bigger bodies exist and that Catnap is an "experiment" but for all we know she might believe that the bigger bodies are purely animatronic. Notice the lack of any mention of surgery on this note.
To add to that, in the Jeremy VHS tape, Stella was unfamiliar by what "testing" meant which may suggest she didn't know.
3:17 I had no idea that Kissy waves at us there, she's so cute😩 now I feel sad for her again
Something I've not noticed anyone mention is how clearly starved Catnap's body is
Maybe it's obvious, everyone talks about how terrifying he looks but I can't help but wonder if he seemed a lot more cuddle when he was actually around the orphans
I disagree, he looked quite boney and gaunt during the hour of joy (even with the low quality you can see his hip bones and spine), and there was a note (iirc) saying that half the kids were terrified of CatNap at first, then eventually warmed up to him.
I know I’ve already commented BUT: if you DO plan on making a later theory with Rich, then here’s a pretty important element that a lot of theorists have missed: a note reading “Call Patty” with a love heart next to it in chapter 2 implies Rich and Patty Hall were romantically involved. Rich mentioning his wife likely ties up this loose end - Rich and Patty got married in-between his chapter 2 and 3 tapes.
Now he has Tomas (from BATIM) vibes even more…
Would be interesting then since it's theorized that Patty Hall became Kissy, and that if she does get injured/taken/killed in Chapter 4, then the bigger body that Rich became if he became one helps us find her/get justice for her. Alternatively, since we don't actually know who or what is inside of Huggy, he could be the human turned into Huggy. Since he is described as her "better half" which is another term for significant other.
Now that you mention it....what if we ARE Rich? Considering we know now that he was moved onto the bigger bodies initiative, and he also sounds like a character who does genuinely care for kids, especially orphans...he could be our MC
I thought the same thing! It'd be really cool if we were actually Rich. Perhaps it'll be revealed who our MC is in chapter 4 or a future chapter!
@@HuffyPup I hope they also reveal why the player character wasn't at Playtime Co during the Hour Of Joy? Also, because it was hinted that the player character feels guilty, I hope they reveal what we did that made us feel guilty.
@@user-hi8ul2vh6h same
Honestly I thought Rich was the dog that was chained up. Since they had similar accent and voices…
Yeah, I totally thought Rich was turned into Dogday especially when his older co-worker told him to take on the role.@@keanna9483
How the hell is playtime struggling for money but can afford to cover up hundreds to thousands of people deaths and their main place of operations going up in flames
For the same reason we always have money for war but never for housing.
@@imjessietr29 I thought that was because the fed can just print more
Hundreds of thousands? Doesn’t seem like that many people were experimented on or killed, more so the children that were experimented, and that can easily be covered up. For the place of operations you mean the Hour of Joy?
@@EmyN hundreds to thousands meaning deaths ranging from 200 to 2000 which include staff/orphans/visitors
I'm surprised no one's mentioned the fact that all the clocks are stuck at 10:05. When I say all I mean _all:_ the animated clock shown during the Smile Critters clip at the beginning to every single clock in the Counseling Building. You would think they would be stuck at or around 11 due to the "hour of joy" starting then, but instead they're all either an hour beforehand or eleven hours afterward (as they're all analog). Normally, you'd think its just coincidence and they're just copy-pasted. But the fact that the animated cartoon clearly shows its own clock being stuck at the same time as, again, _every single other clock_ makes it clear it was a definite choice.
Though, as far as I know, there's nothing that connects that time to anything else. It's just bizarre.
No I actually noticed this myself. My theory is that 1006 cut the power beforehand, or did something to the security systems, but by then it was too late. The one in the cartoon was stuck at 10:06 which was a cute detail, the ones in game were slightly different.
I never noticed that. Maybe something happened from 10:05 to the start of the hour of joy.
Possibly daylight savings?
@@Luv2beLuuved No, the hour of joy is in July
Imagine 1006 made the clocks run backwards just to confuse the staff in the building while it happened and it took 55 minutes to kill them all so the clocks stopped then, I feel like there's multiple major inaccuracies in that but it's the kinda psychological warfare I can rly see the prototype going for

You mentioned that by "larger subjects" they could be talking about other animals, and I would actually argue that they also used dogs and other obidient animals like horses to make some of the toys. PJ Pugapiller for example, acts like a dog in his statues minigame. Only attacking us when he is given the green light to do so, and he also doesn't talk, and has no self instincts it seems like. The human toys, like Kissy Missy and Huggy Wuggy were obidient, yes, but they also acted out. Kissy Missy, attacks us outside of Home Sweet Home before Poppy stops her. And Huggy Wuggy attempted to run away and killed staff in the woods. PJ doesn't display these qualities, he acts like a dog, only doing what he's told.
I thought he was a dog. He's like a very smart dog.
There's no reason he has to have been human.
If he was a actual Pug. They're a working dog. They were bred for cattle herding and bull fighting. Like a Bulldog. He'd be playful and peppy.
He'd be able to handle commands. But wouldn't want to wander too far off his territory.
Yeah I think that makes sense. Probably the ones that act human are human but others could be animals hence their animalistic nature and eating each other and stuff
I think so too because member Rowan stall ?!??! His dog was NAMED PJ !! 😭
That would make sense. Some of the 'extra' toys (like PJ, Bunzo, the mini Huggies, maybe even Boxy) could have been made from animals such as dogs, cats, and maybe monkeys. They wouldn't waste money and lives on 'filler' toys. This explains why they don't have much dialog, do their objective, and still have their appetite and capacity to kill.
Also, Poppy mentions she was the reason they started operating on children. 1006 may have been the first human experiment, but Poppy might have been the first 'perfect' experiment.
At the end of the game it could be huggy because of the sound effects, but also could be kissy screaming/attacking the prototype
Someonw theorised that it was Huggy because of the different pitch in the screams, Kissy and Huggy
@@noobtube7649Ollie doesn’t seem bad I’ve seen a theory where he could be the security system like how the you machine is alive and the train then why can’t Ollie be stuck in the security cameras and all that. But yea I think huggy was the one who attacked kissy, the whole huggy is dead is 100% a misdirect since we see his blood and hair climb into a vent.
@@jakemallory12 or the prototype caught huggy and dragged him to the vent
@@markymark303 maybe I doubt it tho, especially since they haven’t done any secret that deep yet so kinda not there style and it was a small vent from what we can tell the prototypes big so I doubt he’s climbing through a small vent. It’s like that one rule where the easiest choice is usually the right one, your actual stretching the theory more by saying it’s the prototype if you say it’s huggy all the problems line into place, motivation, sounds all that
@@jakemallory12yeah I highly doubt Huggy is dead with all the secrets about him. He could definitely be the one who attacked Kissy Missy.
What if Ollie is a toy that rich was put in? Rich worked all around the factory and Ollie knows too much about the factory to be a kid.
I love the amount of detail that was put into Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 as one of my favorite details from Chapter 3 would have to be the reference to Bioshock's introduction of Rapture but with Playcare.
I really enjoyed this part too, I love bioshock and portal. This part really cemented that those were more inspirational to Poppy than FNAF!
Randomly just got the idea that Ms.Delight might have been locked in one of the rooms without vending machines and THEN she went crazy and started ignoring the food available. She did say that the teachers were blocking to room with food, it’s very possible they did this with vending machines or locked areas that led to food.
One of my theories is that, if we want to believe some of the kids are alive since they are supposedly "safe", maybe the bigger bodies/living toys only eat meat and that's why the vending mashines are still full.
The other Miss Delights were hording the few human bodies they had and when they ran out, they were planning on eating the last Ms Delight and then she ate them.
This theory is mostly based on the fact that not a single toy is seen eating anything else and if Ms Delight is truly that hungry, she would have probably been able to open the vending mashines.
If the toys can only eat meat, then the kids that survived the Hour of Joy would be kept alive through the snacks that can be found in the vending mashines.
It's not a perfect theory, but I think it makes sense, especially when the other Ms Delights didn't eat from the vending mashines either
Funny that a Halloween Animatronic made out of plastic is the source of a horrific creepy pasta

To add to your theory on the kids/bigger bodies (Ms. Delight) being addicted to human flesh/red gas, the opening vhs for chapter 3 shows all of the smiling critters begging catnap to put them to sleep.
I have a theory about what happened to Hoppy Hopscotch. I think her asking about hopping to the moon was referring to self deletion to ascend to a better place than Playcare.
We go quickly from hop to jump. She starts to say how this won't "end" until we make it to the moon. Ie, the painful reality of her life won't end until she jumps and passes on into the sky (heaven).
She starts to get more desperate but also fearful because she doesn't want to actually die, she just wanted the pain to end. This is where the "don't look at your feet! Nothing else matters! " comes from.
Looking at her feet might make her chicken out and nothing else matters other than ending the torment.
And the final jump was just that.
Edit: also the moon could reference the old Japanese tale of the hare on the moon. The game is very popular in Japan too
I think it's her offing herself as well. Could even be she tried jumping out of playcare and died from the fall back down. Wish we could've seen some of them in the game ngl, even if it was just corpses.
one thing I noticed is that when you are talking to DogDay his eyes are black and empty but when he gets possessed he gets white rings in his eyes just like catnap
Ive been watching a lot of Poppy Playtime videos/ theories & want to point out no one has mentioned how at the end of chapter 2, Poppy is talking while we're in the train & we here an alarm clock. What did 1006 take apart in their cell? Alarm clock. And we just found 1006 can mimic voices so it wouldn't surprise me if it could do noises as well. So where did Poppy go after the train crashed? Cuz we didn't run into Poppy and Kissy until after the orphanage. Idk, just a thought
"Have you played Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 yet?"
Almost half of us after watching a Playthrough : *NO*
*Don't* read more if you *want* to

Not forgetting GLaDOS’ “cats in boxes” Schrodingers cat which is probably how the Hour of Joy came to be. Which makes me think we’re playing a silent protagonist like Freeman.
In regards to Half Life, it was the fact Aperture started with shower curtains and ended with GLaDOS (the warped mind of the secretary) releasing toxic fumes. There’s also the experiments making other dimensions aware of humans. If you want to know how the game ends, just play Half Life 1-2 but maybe not that RUclipsr one Hunt Down The Freeman.
In my lemon theory I'm going to be going in deeper depth on the similarities between Poppy Playtme and Portal/Half Life/Bioshock.
@@Tericho Everyone has brought up the bathysphere into Playcare feeling like Bioshock (which it totally does), but I also got Portal 2 vibes from the descent into a sphere like in the early aperture testing areas we explore (i.e. the area with the spheres and paint mechanics in Portal 2), so thank you for bringing Portal into the conversation!!
Fun fact: the image for the Russian sleep experiment is actually just a a Halloween prop
Is the Transfer Request form the only thing that implies that Marie Payne is Mommy Long-Legs? Because I'm starting to wonder if they're trying to say Claire Harper is/was Mommy Long-Legs. To my knowledge, no other note about the Bigger-Bodies ever refers to the person inside the Bigger-Body. Which is what you would want to do if you don't want some people to know the extent of the experiments. And the way Claire yells, "No!" during her tape sounded a lot like Mommy Long-Legs. In chapter 2, Mommy also says that "the children called her Mommy, because she was the closest thing they had," but the children call her Mommy because her name is Mommy Long-Legs. But if she is Claire talking about her time as a counselor at PlayCare, that could mean that the children under her care sometimes called her Mommy. Possibly adding to why she refers to Marie as her little girl. This would then make the subject of the Transfer Request as the cause of the request to have Mommy transferred, i.e. Mommy becomes hostile because of Marie Payne, which feels more appropriate for an official document. But being as Thomas Clark seemed to be getting suspicious and then was put into Bron, maybe they did something like that to Claire.
Feel free to let me know if there is something I'm forgetting that totally proves me wrong, but even if there is, I find it interesting that there is so much that allows for Claire to be Mommy Long-Legs.
I thought that perhaps Claire was Kissy Missy and thats why we found her in Playcare's Home Sweet Home. Looking at one of the kids she bonded with, sitting in the building she used to work in, etc.
Interesting, you make a good point. But when Miss Harper asks to see Marie she's told "That is not advised but we are monitoring her situation" likely an excuse for "We already turned her into Mommy Longlegs"
On that note about Portal, Poppy’s Playtime is just a Horror version of Portal
If you don’t believe me, Check out these similarities
-Small looking location with massive underground facility that has been abandoned
-Ally who helps you navigate the facility
-Puzzle solving to travel further in the facility
-Special tool used to help solve puzzles
& lastly -The final boss is always lurking in the background watching you navigate your way to them
11:10 Some of these tapes also have German words on them: "Siehe nicht weiter dieses Band", which translates into: "Do not furtherly watch this tape".
I like how the whole nuclear bunker idea gives an explanation for what we just had to throw 'suspension of disbelief' at thus far.
HOW DOES HIS MASSIVE FACILITY STILL HAVE ELECRICITY WITHOUT ANYONE TO PAY THE POWER BILL AFTER TEN YEARS!?
Now we can say that E. Ludwig set up his factory to last in a post nuclear war scenario and gave it ways to create/collect power and clean water.
Maybe chapter 4 will explain how ~300+ bodies in the hour of joy tape had no family or friends to report them missing. Thinking about it now, Poppy said that they "dragged the bodies down below where they would never be found" meaning the clever prototype could have Catnap gas any unwilling and had the children and all the bigger bodies hide somewhere while police search and eventually give up. I think I just answered my own question.
According to the opening in Chapter 1, everyone "thought all the employees had vanished ten years ago", so that very well could be the case. There would literally be no signs of what happened, and with how secretive Playtime co. were, no one would know about the experiments and what happened there.
My favorite part about Poppy Playtime updates\content is Tericho content.
yes this whole thing is so fascinating but also depressing. i feel so bad for catnap :(
@@Highskill3rsame hopefully he somehow returns maybe
Im so glad you mentioned the portal series. The playcare actually looks like an Aperture Science Testing Sphere that Cave used to house different test subjects during testing. Elliot really reminds me of Cave, trying to better humanity while simulateously ruining it by putting humans into ai or toys (GLaDOS and the bigger bodies). The hour of Joy is Portal's neurotoxin incident where GLaDOS used neurotoxin to kill every scientist because she was Caroline forced into the body so GLaDOS is the prototype in that sense.
I think Stewart is player we are playing as for number of reasons.
1) Stewart is supposed to be a ex employ and we are too
2) Stewart seems to be a old employee and we are too because we saw flashback in the first red gas nightmare
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY we are searching for co worker I think it is non other than rich.
well if stu is old I think (and people have speculated he might be the one on the prototype shrine) he would be dead or like too old to even run away from huggy in chapter one because remember: this is ten years later
Perhaps . .
His real name is "Antonio Banderas" - who played King Herod in "Journey to Bethlehem", and "Puss In Boots".
Good theory, but personally I think we are playing as Rich
I honestly think we're playing as Rich, it makes more sense.
We are looking for multiple coworkers though, so looking for JUST Rich seems a bit... rich, lol
Mommy's speech about the kids both comes off like she knows what happened to them and/or that she doesn't and blames the workers for her not knowing where they are
She had said they, the kids, only came to play games and would never come back afterwards that they left her to die alone. It kinda sounds like she's mad the kids led her on about being their mother, played some games and then abandoned her and that the staff are the ones who deserve to die alone since she was the only mother the kids had in her eyes
I think all motherly feelings are gone at this point and she hates everyone, staff, kids, the prototype and Catnap, because of all of them she's like this, because of all of them she was left alone
My theory on how the letter was sent to the player character is Poppy wrote it, and then 1006 captured her and put her in the case
Poppi makes the line if you get to the front door he will kill you so maybe her writing the letter was enough for him to trap her who knows until chapter 4 or 5.
Well this would make sense, considering that I just saw the notification that said “I’m in Poppy Playtime” from CG5 🗿
Haha that was a pure coincidence too!
Question if Ms delight was locked in the school for so long then how did she get locked in could she not break down the door cause she broke the generator then she could have broken a wooden door
im pretty sure catnap locked her up as for not breaking free probaly cause of insanity abd being in the dark
I think she didn't have barb yet I think

I agree
Good theory but hoppy hopscotch is a female oille is a male so he would not be hoppy hopscotch
@@user-ne6ox9em7m ollie could be the name of the orphan put inside hoppy hopscotch or a pseudonym to mislead the player
I think Ollie is Catnap because after Catnap died he said nothing to us even after moving the red smoke to the left like he told us too. So unless something happened to Ollie, I'm pretty sure he was Catnap especially since Catnap somehow managed to speak to us through the phone in the counselor office.
Tericho, they just did a huge update to it and there is a new photo for kissy, new posters in home sweet home, and an Ollie call at the end of the game, which might prove us wrong that Ollie killed kissy.
i googled this and cant find anything, is there a source?
Source???
That's not from Rassbowski is it?
Mod maybe?
No they just posted it in the discord server, im not a mod.
Several things Tericho, you forgot that Leith Pierre was in all three chapters as well in some sort of VHS tape so actually four people.
And secondly the letter that was given us to come back I feel like was written by Ollie, he is most likely a kid (Dob’t know) and the handwriting was writtenn in like a crayon type…including the grammar.
I think Ollie is a huge possibility for the letter now too. The way he said "expecially" reminded me of the grammar/spelling in that letter. Since he's aligned with Poppy, that would make sense for him to send it to us as well.
Don't written
YO now I have something to watch while I do dishes :D
Lol, this is so true
Kinda surprised MatPat missed seeing the reference to him (which is something since he tends to stare at a wall for "lore" in game) lol
I actually didn't know about the MatPat reference, the song, the space references or the nod to portal.
Looking forward to the lemon theory.
9:20 I KNEW IT WAS CG5!!!! ive watched enough fandom songs to know his voice!!
1:26 I wanna add this dosent prove anything, they had the kids pick out a toy and the one they loved the most they got turned into, so yes what you said could be true it can also be true that was just a picture she did of her doll right before she was turned into it.
Tericho, while watching the part of this video when you mentioned Rich, I though of this really outlandish theory, but hear me out. What if Rich is the prototype? He makes it clear that he doesn't like the employees who treat him badly & he also mentioned how he feels kinda sorry for the playcare kids as they, "never get any real sunlight". Plus, with how we've seen Mob tease the future in the previous chapters, wouldn't hiding the answer in some completely optional segment be something they would do? I also just realized that the prototype was created before Catnap, so this theory doesn't work. Still something fun to speculate about though.
i wonder if the children were put to work and paid their own wages, namely funbucks in a kid nation esque way to make as much use of them as possible. after all, they live on the premises and wouldn't have anywhere else to spend them.
Miss delight gives a vibe of dark deception level 3 statues
Popy during the end made it clear that even the innocent were also killed which could mean the children died aswell
Theory: poppy playtime is a pre time line to doc McStuffins 😮
We need a theory of who could Ollie possibly be, if he was a kid from playcare then how is he still a kid?
I don't think the ollie we hear is actually ollie but actually the prototype using his voice
The song on the radio where the catnap plush sounds so good, and i need to have a full version
Love these videos, they are literally my favourite ones ❤
8:13 it kinda explains why the toys recognise him (or thats what it seems like from what i remember) because hes worked all around the factory
3:20 wow I've never noticed that
I love this! So much talk about my favourite character!! Rich btw. And when I heard your theory of 'Rich is you' all the loose ties connected!
If prototype can control minds of toys, then could it be he is then one who tells us to get up everytime we die? Yes I mean we could be a doll too
we can’t because mommy long legs mentions how she will eat us while we are still alive, which means we are still alive during the game
@@sophieweber244 when did I say that we died? We are alive and I know that
@@sophieweber244 btw she doesn't say she will eat us, she says she will torture us to death
Question: If all the employees are dead from the hour of joy, who wrote the player the letter to go back to the factory?
I've seen multiple theories saying at Poppy was the one who wrote the letter, so most likely her?
@@KB_SkykidI'm skeptical that it is her since wasn't she trapped inside her case until the protagonist helped her? If that was all play pretend then it's highly possible that it is her. After all, both her and the Prototype seem to be the manipulative sort of character. Heck, there might even be a twist where it's revealed that she's the bad guy all along, hence the title. The devs seems to love putting twists like the Kissy Missy ending so I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly put out evidence that the Prototype was the good guy all along.
i think ollie or something idk

Laika died cramped, frightened, and alone as she burned to death. It hurt my heart even more because my dog is a jack russell mix and looks like laika. What they did was absolutely horrible and heartless. yes they learned things but i wish it didnt have to come at the price of life
Awesome Man ! ❤
Great video highlighting some important elements like the Fun bucks and links to space. It was very informative for building a bigger picture of Playtime co. Also I want to know what your Lemon Theory is and whether it matches mine lmao.
Thank you for talking about Rich!! I've had my eye on him for ages, I feel like he has to be important somehow by how much he comes up by name. He lives in my brain rent free. His chapter 3 tape feels big.
Hello tericho great video
Hello Tericho! I love all of your theories so much but I have one request, can you do a theory on the smiling critters? I see many videos but they don’t seem very realistic. Please do it (btw love your theories)❤😊
I'm glad you finally mentioned the Rich tape. Although I love all the theories I feel like I didn't hear enough about it and as soon as it popped up in the story I knew it had to be something important, enough to be included in a tape.
Way to go Tericho. God bless you! =)
Unpopular theory: What if Mommy Long Legs isn’t made with the soul of Marie Payne? In chapter three, we hear Claire Harper acting very protective of Marie after she had a violent nightmare. Maybe because she yelled at the person she was talking to, Claire was turned into a toy as well for rebelling. In chapter two, everyone saw a note about Mommy Long Legs with ‘Subject: Marie Payne’ written on it. Maybe this was talking about how Mommy was reacting to this particular orphan without addressing it directly. That note was talking about how differently Mommy acts with children than staff members, after all. No one will probably agree with this or directly contradict this theory, I just put this out as something to chew on.
I don't see enough people talking about the fact that in a chapter with a direct homage to Matpat, the phone voice shares a name with his son
In one of the nightmare sequences where the phone rings and we briefly see Catnap, there’s the same picture of the girl that Kissy is looking at. I think the protagonist has seen that girl (or at least that picture) before.
Now that CG5’s entire song is out officially on Mob Entertainment’s RUclips channel (it is an absolute banger btw), it seems that it has lore details in it, and the fact that it was a collaboration with Mob Entertainment and CG5 could mean that Mob worked together to write the lyrics, making it from the toy’s point of view with them wanting freedom and wondering what would happened if they didn’t do the hour of joy
If Elliot is the prototype I think his motivation will of that of a Marvel Villian so determined to do the right thing but not seeing the real cost, Elliot create playcare to keep the Orphans safe but never let them see the sun or leave like a normal child should.
10:43 you forgot about Bobby Bearhug. She said somethinf about "I love you to the moon and back!"
Something along those lines.
But I once thought that it could be connected with Catnap or smth.
I love the aperture science vibe this game give me
Fun fact: CatNap and Mommy Long legs were still children when the Hour of Joy occurred.
Theodore, aka catnap was born around 1980’s specific birthday is unknown, but in 1990 he was only 7 years old when he was turned into CatNap. Marie aka Mommy is speculated to have been born around the same time but was turned into mommy a year after catnap was created. Both kids were around 12 years old when they participated in the Hour Joy in 1995. Ten years later after the event makes the current year the game takes place in is 2005. Which also means Catnap and mommy were 22 years old at the time of their deaths in the game.
The JSE EE was interesting because it was also meta, promoting the fact he has his own coffee brand as he got asked to fetch the recorder a coffee, but then changed his mind.
Let's go tericho another banger
Love ur videos ❤
35 minutes late but i hope you find more stuff i love these videos keep it up and have an sub
Tericho, if you're reading this, can you please make a theory video dedicated to the player character? I would like to see your theories about the player. You don't have to if you don't want to.
Another question: If the toys killed anyone that disobeyed the prototype, why is poppy not dead yet? And why did the prototype put Poppy in a case and not kill her? did the prototype want her for something? or is it something darker..
Maybe prototype doesn’t want to kill her cuz she is a child, someone who was experimented on and turned into a toy. He probably thinks the toys are innocent but still wants to control them but not kill them unless they defy him and he absolutely has no choice. He did kill CatNap but I think its cuz the only way CatNap lives is by joining Prototype. Notice how he makes the toys a part of him as stated by Mommy Longlegs but he isn’t the one who kills them. I am not sure about the reason its confusing honestly he does as he pleases
Something I've been thinking about lately is your theory about the protagonist being a doll or toy of some kind, but there's a flaw in that theory. How would the protagonists have survived outside of the factory not only after the hour of joy, but also before
Those Russian sleep experiment vids was just what I needed before bed.
there's a part in the game where a warning pops up and tells everyone to cover themselves in blankets and pillows and says they shouldn't come out no matter what. That's why, in the orphanage and bedrooms, there was tons of blankets covering mysterious shapes all over the ground, its most likely the body's of children.
This might be a reach but something I wonder is if the Bigger Bodies Initiative is similar to The Big Daddy Program from Bioshock, this idea of like some program where a human being is distorted beyond recognition until they're some deranged monster with a specific goal of taking care of kids.
Also the whole ollie thing sounds very similar to the atlas situation in bioshock. He changes his voice to pretend he’s our ally and ends up being frank Fontaine, the literal villain of the whole game. It has a lot of similarities to bioshock actually 🤔
Thank you terry!💚💜
I was not expecting S P A C E to come up
I’m so confused why we haven’t lost the blue hand but we have lost the red hand and the green hand. I wonder if there is going to be a purpose or a secret ability that we just don’t know that the blue hand has. and maybe in future chapters, we can use it for something like defeating the prototype.
Fun fact, Jacksepticeye on his playthrough said he was asked back, likely to reprise his role in Chapter 2 but was too busy. He may just reprise in Chapter 4 though, because he'd said he'd happily do it in future
FIRST!! I just found this channel, I'm gonna binge these videos this afternoon hehe....
You forgot that in many areas of the game including older versions covered by Bits Gaming, we are hinted so many tikes with the name PRISON and the elevator at the ending has a 80% chance of heading to there
Bobby Bearhug's cutout says she loves you "to the moon and back"
After seeing the end of chapter 3 and, specifically, the part we hallucinate and hear Poppy's voice, I think our player character was a child that grew up in playcare and was eventually selected from the older orphans to join the Playcare staff. We know from an audio tape that the Doctors in the lab were choosing kids to leave Playcare for some reason but it was already established kids chosen for the bigger bodies initiative are removed secretly after lights out, when all the kids are unconscious. This was a big meeting of all the kids and apparently a special honor. It makes sense to save money if you train your own lab techs rather than hire a professional. Your 2nd hallucination also has you at child height in the playhouse, classroom, and home sweet home along with all the other kids.
If you grew up in Playcare that would explain why all the Bigger Bodies seem reluctant to hurt you until given no other choice and why you weren't there on that day. The backwards audio in the first gas section said "your presence was requested and you didn't show up" so I think you helped plan the Hour of Joy but couldn't bear to actually kill anyone so you stayed at home the day it was supposed to happen. Maybe they were counting on you being there to let them out of the building.
AFTER THREE YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE RICH IS IMPORTANT, I HAVE FINALLY BEEN VINDICATED!
NOBODY EVEN CARES ENOUGH ABOUT THIS GUY TO GET HIS NAME RIGHT HALF THE TIME I AM SO HAPPY PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT HIM MORE OMG
The mans has appeared in 3 chapters now and has a more detailed story than most of the other characters we know AND THERES BARELY ANY THEORIES ON HIM
Random theory: poppy is actually the orphan kissy missy used to be close friends with
I saw your other video of the Smiling Critters being afraid of Poppy though was wondering why Dogday didnt mention anything bad about Poppy themselves when you met them. Although everything else was very cool and did make a lot of sense
Maybe you should, check more on Dr. White, I think there‘s more behind him. In one of the first tapes you find in chapter 3 ( with the incident with a girl because of the red smoke ), in it, it was mentioned that the girl said something like „The Monster is (so) colorless“ . And we all know, that white is not an actual color and what the red smoke does to someone…
The Portal 2-esque Kissy Missy poster is definitely a nod to the game, cause it has the same layout of having a "do not" rule in the "do" category, all of these references are very neat, and I'm all for it!
