6:35 Correction. That laughter comes from a Smiling Critter plushie. You can hear that exact laughter from time to time in the Playhouse whenever the Critters spawn. My guess is that some of them were helping CatNap in watching you. Plus, the Sleep Well video and the Hour of Joy tape showcase that the Critters can enter other areas of the factory if they so choose.
Catnap could too as he added the leftovers of Mummy to his shrine. A lot of the toys were clearly able to go where they pleased, they just stayed where they were to obey the staff.
There's also a Bunzo that runs out into the open. Catnap rushes by, picking them up as he runs into the shadows. Those little guys were probably hiding around every corner, watching us.
As someone with a psychotic disorder (trying to find a doctor that can help narrow down what flavor I have exactly), I can say the flashbacks with the children depicted as shadows stands out. 'shadow figures' is a very common hallucination, and I've personally experienced that and the 'chasing' delusions and hallucinations. I wouldn't say it's a spot on representation, but it DOES make sense. And I definitely believed in ghosts before it was discovered I had a disorder. And even if the red smoke wasn't causing it, if you have any history or risk of a psychotic disorder, drugs absolutely can trigger symptoms and psychosis in general. But I figure the way they're going is psychosis and schizophrenia being the scapegoat lie to cover up the place being haunted.

I've seen multiple things chasing me, figures, creepy animals, faces, smoke clouds, voices, etc. But the WORST was actually what triggered my first psychotic episode ^^; It's ironically why I'm even watching this video. When FNAF 2 came out, I was freshly in college and figured I'd watch a youtuber play it, I'd never really paid attention to FNAF 1. And the first time they got jumped by the Puppet I guess it scared me so bad it triggered something and for the next two months I was stuck seeing things waiting to grab me, figures behind me, even grabbing me when I tried to sleep. But honestly, the delusions about it were just as bad if not worse than the rest, because I genuinely believed it was real and I was being hunted by things. I mean, they SAID they were coming after me. And it's part of what makes it so hard to realize you have something going on when it happens. So I tend to cope with things by researching them, trying to PROVE to myself it's ok. So I ended up learning about as much as I could about FNAF as a sort of exposure therapy lol. It got a lot worse before it got better, I was in a foreign country studying abroad and was relatively isolated because finals were mostly digital and everyone was headed home for the holidays and month and a half between semesters. So that's why I wasn't immediately taken to a hospital. So since then, I've coped by keeping on top of any horror media that might disturb me too badly, so with time it's sort of turned into a ritual I enjoy ^^ I like to think of it jokingly as having gotten to play FNAF 4 before anyone else XD It still sucks and I don't mean to make light of the condition, but there's something morbidly funny about having to turn to my girlfriend and say 'Hey, Springtrap is outside the window again.' and she knows exactly what that means. I don't have recognizable characters show up often, and they're always 'off' and 'wrong' for lack of a better term. But luckily my symptoms don't show up too often and usually go away relatively quickly, and my girlfriend is an amazing support who never minds keeping me safe and at least comforted until it stops.
That... makes me worried, since while i havent experienced that in years... i used to see shadow things sneaking into my room from the corridor and hiding underneath my bed.
also, the fingernails must be clean because we all know they carry bacterias. and if the subject is infected by that bacteria. it could end up as failure experiment. and the illness could be shared with the doctors, maybe employees. that's why they always encourage children to stay clean. this is just a theory and idk about the rest.
I actually had a lot of fun reading the Orientation Notebook. From the way it was setup, it definitely felt like you were reading something that an employee had wanted to be found and studied so the truth could start leaking out. Also felt like the employee, who ever they were or what position they had, certainly knew a lot more than they let on. Probably as a protection measure so it would be harder for Playtime Co. to trace it back to them and paint a target on them should it be discovered by management or the person who finds it decides to snitch and turn them in.
I need to poke through the copy I got for my daughter. Makes me think of someone hiding all the puzzles and such in ATA/ATA2 so that the solutions are immediately obvious to the layperson, but the more you know, the more you find out.
@@Juel13 I wonder if some of the clues were “written” in such a way that would allow P.W. to reveal just enough information to make an outsider think yet still be able claim plausible deniability and say that nothing was actually revealed should the book be discovered (I will have to take another look at my copy myself). This isn’t dark, it’s edgy. Dark is using real life matters to tell a story, typically ones that happen on every day occurrences such as getting characters hooked on drugs then blackmailing them to do your dirty work. Edgy uses these matters as a means of shock value, never really trying to say anything and is just for entertainment. The closest thing this game ever got to dark was Mommy Long Legs backstory with her abandonment issues and Elliot going Yandere and sacrificing many lives to bring his daughter back. This story truly does have the potential to get dark but they threw it all away for the sake of focusing on typical horror elements.

Something that is edgy, while it is used for shock value, is also either used to offend or is handled in such an insensitive way that it is offensive. While much of Poppy Playtime’s horror falls closer to edginess than darkness, it lacks the malice or general insensitivity to fully be edgy. That’s just my opinion, though.
Interesting theory. The schizophrenia part definitely could be at least somewhat true but I have big doubts about the ghosts. They would be narratively fitting if true but so far the universe presented is scientific in nature (even if it is scifi science) and at least in my opinion ghosts would detract from the story as a whole.
The one thing that got me, I forget where it was said (either the radio or the book) where kids were told to hide under blankets, and in Ch 3, we see a lot of...figures under blankets that aren't moving. That would def be a haunting sorta situation too. This could very well be a narrative of science vs supernatural, where someone tries TOO much when it comes to science and trips into the unexplainable and triggers something.

The orientation notebook states that Playcare was founded in 1976 and the children could stay there forever working for the Company. It may be a hint to the children being enslaved as bigger bodies but IMO the player its an orphan that grew up in the Playcare and stayed as an adult as an employee. Playtime its their Home, their family they cannot truly escape this place... in the end the player can only burn it down or even join them as a living toy.
I've always thought the end should be the destruction of the factory including the player, poppy and all those unlucky souls, who will finally find eternal peace.

Now I'm wondering if there were any unsuccessful experiments that didn't die during the surgery and they were still alive/being tested on when the hour of joy happened, is it possible there could be some horrific mish mashes of human and toy still lurking around playtime co? Or were they just destroyed when it became clear they failed i don't know i haven't read the book. Also considering the player character wasn't there on the day of the hour of joy and the writer in the book took days off when the orphans were brought in and it seems like they could be the same person could the hour of joy happened while the new orphans were being brought in and the security may have been a bit looser for just enough time for the toys to attack?

This isn’t just a pizza restaurant or even a warehouse this is a massive campus it’s on the level of saying your going to burn down something the size of a theme park I mean imagine trying to burn down Disneyland? Yes it’s possible but were talking weeks of setup and we would likely get some kind of federal attention (I’m assuming that playtime co is a US firm dispite it feeling like an old UK business) trying to buy the Materials needed.

There's always that one office employee with a super unassuming title like Senior Office Manager (usually an older woman) that knows the company inside and out, has all the connections, and even the bosses know to go to if they need something done quickly and efficiently even if it's in another department. I guess we were that person lol
This is cool. I still think the whole game is the player character going through the process of turning into a toy, most likely a Huggy Wuggy. The first game tells you the process for creating a toy is a four-step process, and we know that creating a toy leads to someone being put into said toy. Step 1 is toy selection, Step 2 is evaluation, Step 3 is preparation via the gas, and Step 4 is the formal insertion process. The journey for the player character in each chapter matches the first three steps, and in each case, Huggy Wuggy is involved. When you leave the Make-a-Toy area in Chapter 1, it's not with CatBee, it's with Huggy in the vents. In Chapter 3, when you hallucinate the first time, it's Huggy that comes for you, and in the final hallucination, Huggy is the last one. Plus, in every instance with a cardboard cutout holding the GrabPack, it's always Huggy. Also, when Kissy tackles you in Chapter 3, she's in the shadows with a blue tint, so it looks like Huggy is again attacking you briefly. Regarding Dr. White, someone in another video mentioned that Jane Goodall wrote a book called Dr. White, about a small dog that helped terminally ill patients with getting better. There could be a parallel, and if so, I suspect Dr. White was put inside the DogDay that we saw in game... yikes.
I was with you, up until ghosts. A literal haunting would (in my opinion) derail this story. They’re doing messed up things by creating living toys. I feel like that is enough to drive the narrative. Plus, there’s too many other things we just don’t have much information on, like who or what the prototype is. Adding a supernatural element would be too much, I think. But, I love the psychological ones, and I’m positive it will come into play.
With all the new information we've been given, I think it'd be cool if you went back into your older theory videos and see which ones have been proven, disproven or could use some revision based on current known information. I think it's a video idea you could do after every new chapter, review past theories. Like your theory about the player being a toy. The sound of the footsteps are more prominent in this latest chapter and they don't sound like a rubber soled sneaker or even a hard soled workboot. It seems like another piece of evidence that the player is, in fact, a toy. And we did get confirmation that the toys did eat the staff - and each other, based on the situation with Dog Day and the school teacher. (Having a brain fart atm, and forgot her name lol) It's an idea to consider
One thing I always found interesting is that we all assumed the red gas in the catnap toys was some way for someone to draw attention to what Planytime co was doing but if the book is right then that mean the catnap incident happened before the experiments🤔
If it turns out that it is more of something being all out mainly in the main character's head I know people wouldn't accept that as a reason for some of the things going on. I give them kudos for making it a possibility but with the args, tapes, and all it leaves a massive hole. At most I'd say it could explain the effects of the red smoke better and what the children were experiencing. Ah were the toys meant to be weapons and the smoke chemical warfare? Looking back on that movie Toys the antagonist of the film saw the potential in children remotely controlling war toys thinking that they are merely playing a game. With this you have orphans to experiment on, add to the BBI, or just toys ship them out to the homes of enemies and you'll have little spies and assassins, bigger ones tearing through was zones, giant catnaps spewing red smoke like Batman's scarecrow uses the fear toxin.
We shall see what the fourth chapter of poppy playtime is and where it's going to take place (I'd bet my foot that we'll be able to get a look at what the prototype (1006) will look like)

The whole ghost thing, I wonder if that might actually add into why we met Ollie. Either it’s schizophrenia, or it’s a child’s voice haunting us through the phone. We could have been the reason for Ollie’s death, resulting in him haunting us and staying by us. I believe the bit where he mentioned no lost body parts might imply he lost his own during his time as a subject. That or he might be pointing at a part of us that has happened before. We could have actually lost a limb somehow in the past, and yet the player might never know until the game’s end, or maybe never.
1:21 Not only that, but Miss Delight recognized us too. She mentions that she knew who we were after looking at the cameras, so we know that she's seen us before. This means we have likely been to Playcare, and I think I remember the ad saying that we were _returning_ to Playcare, but I don't remember for sure.
Valid theory and makes Poppy Playtime seem closer to FNAF. With this theory both games have hauntings, people being transformed into non-human objects, and characters who are hallucinating.
7:15 actually this was part of the morning meeting at one of my jobs along with a uniform check for neatness (if they were creased or stained you would be sent to wardrobe to get new whatever it was) and for the guys checked if your clean shaven (if you weren’t you had to go shave, this was a big problem for me and I’ve got extremely dark hair well I had at the time now I’ve got way more white hair than dark brown but back then ied got a 5 o’clock shadow by 12) some of the nonsense you had to go though was silly especially as we were the only team on park that got this level of attention. I knew a girl that worked on one of the rides teams that regularly came into work with white stains on the inside of her trousers legs 🤢 and she never got pulled up for it (and to make matters worse her uniform was black with orange accents so the white marks really showed up) yes it was what your thinking BTW.
The thing that sucks about Poppy Playtime is there's some prime psychological/medical/body horror but instead of actually PUTTING IT IN THE GAME it's all in tertiary materials. Can't risk the gravy train of soccer moms and 8 year olds, I guess.

She's a nail tech named Lana that has been cloned multiple times and is allegedly held hostage by the creator of the game, Gigi? There's notes around the game, she has her own Roblox profile with games that explains her backstory more and a youtube ARG, as well! Nobody thought that such a cute and fun game would be dark and sinister, and the game is getting updated soon so there's supposed to be more lore being revealed soon. Can you do a video on this?! You're the only creator I trust snd respect with your thoughts, theories, and things I may have missed.
One other thing to note while watching this I believe this theory and one thing to help back it up is when mommy first jumps down and talks about doing hide and seek When she jumps down and breaks a pipe open and then she gets all warped and creepy looking What if that’s just the gas making us see her look creepy And to back it up we know it makes things look creepy like we saw with cat nap But then again the gas pipe busted in the room by where we get ambushed by huggy What if that gas is leaking into the hallway making us see him like that
I have schizophrenia Guilt, Paranoia, Hearing things, people talking sounding ANGRY when they aren't, thinking people are mad when they're not.. Seeing things.. not so much, maybe once and aawhile. You also feel like something is Wrong alot.
The “worry” about schizophrenia could also be that if someone had hallucinations or other symptoms and went to get tested, the red gas could show up on a tox screen and tip people off that something was going on.
I so hope that hallucination is not the case. "This is actually all an illusion" is an incredibly overused trope. I also don't think it adds up, tbh. I wouldn't say protagonist hears voices often. I think the can you see us can you hear us is the messes up experiments but i dont think they are dead. Maybe the messed up huggy is actually a hallucination of a real messed up huggy.
This has given me the idea that is Ollie a ghost? Like, the soul of one of the experiments that the player is responsible for, and is seeking revenge? It's far fetched but still
I could definitely see the ghost thing making sense, possessing the toys, something similar to Fnaf. I really hope this isn't a "It was all in our head". That trope has been overused and done, especially in really good story writing and that would mean the Hour of Joy probably never really happened. And that would beg the question, where did the staff disappear to, and what really caused Playtime Co to shut down?
I am going to be disappointed and even a bit angry if this is all just some dream or hallucination due to the gas or the mind of a mentally ill persons mind. It would seem almost too easy to me, like Mob dropped the ball and just took the easy way out, maybe easy is not exactly the right word but I can't think of another one right now. It would be like Mob started building this big involved and interesting story that is building to a big climax but unable to deliver. I for one hope that Mob does not do that to us. I won't deny that some of the things in Chapter three definitely seem like hallucinations, the distorted visions like the Huggy that comes out of the TV or the vision of being outside of the factory on a rode just to name a few, but there is a big difference between a few instances and most of the WHOLE game.
Imagine that chapter 4 ends with us (the player) falling down a hole somewhere and then waking up at home with our wife/husband waking us up and telling us "its time for work" so that we dreamed everything as like a warning to stop the bigger bodies project (this is prob not smt they will maie but i just got this idea out of nowhere now😅)

Bein haunted by children and by experiments made me think, "what if the letter the protagonist got in the very beginning of the game was by one of the deaths of the children or from one of the failed experiments?... and maybe just maybe one of the failed experiments or haunted child opened poppys case.... its just a theory ...😅

all those clues pretty much scream that the player is like Jack from Bioshock he is the ace in the hole, with fake memories that have connections to someone who work or own the place and the scene when you stand outside the factory? its your mind telling you your starting point after all, if they can turn a child into a toy why not turn a child into a "adult"?
Even without the ghost of the orphans, Playtime Co is a very dangerous place especially below the ground. A perfect place to die on your first day at the job due to the factory being broken down and dangerous machinery everywhere 😂😂😂
Of course Ollie isn't a kid, he is most likely a living toy, why should he sound like a grown up? Poppy herself most of the time sound like a little girl. IMO he is a boy variant of Poppy Playtime similar to Raggedy Andy
@@Tericho Ollie its the typical videogame navigator, his role its to guide the player, he have no need to meet us in person yet. He is probably in some sort of control room where he can check our progress trough the video survaillance system and send us the keys trough the pneumatic mail system. As he didnt rescue Poppy himself its possible that for same reason he can't move freely, maybe he miss a leg or two, mind the fact that he ask us if we are missing limbs after we exit the playhouse..

I actually had a lot of fun reading the Orientation Notebook. From the way it was setup, it definitely felt like you were reading something that an employee had wanted to be found and studied so the truth could start leaking out. Also felt like the employee, who ever they were or what position they had, certainly knew a lot more than they let on. Probably as a protection measure so it would be harder for Playtime Co. to trace it back to them and paint a target on them should it be discovered by management or the person who finds it decides to snitch and turn them in.
I need to poke through the copy I got for my daughter. Makes me think of someone hiding all the puzzles and such in ATA/ATA2 so that the solutions are immediately obvious to the layperson, but the more you know, the more you find out.
@@Juel13 I wonder if some of the clues were “written” in such a way that would allow P.W. to reveal just enough information to make an outsider think yet still be able claim plausible deniability and say that nothing was actually revealed should the book be discovered (I will have to take another look at my copy myself). I also forgot to mention in my original comment that my favorite thing about the book is that it seems to read like a real orientation notebook, kind of like The Krusty Krab Training Video.

This isn’t dark, it’s edgy. Dark is using real life matters to tell a story, typically ones that happen on every day occurrences such as getting characters hooked on drugs then blackmailing them to do your dirty work. Edgy uses these matters as a means of shock value, never really trying to say anything and is just for entertainment. The closest thing this game ever got to dark was Mommy Long Legs backstory with her abandonment issues and Elliot going Yandere and sacrificing many lives to bring his daughter back. This story truly does have the potential to get dark but they threw it all away for the sake of focusing on typical horror elements.

While I see your point, I think your definition of edgy is missing something: offense. Something that is edgy, while it is used for shock value, is also either used to offend or is handled in such an insensitive way that it is offensive. While much of Poppy Playtime’s horror falls closer to edginess than darkness, it lacks the malice or general insensitivity to fully be edgy. That’s just my opinion, though.
Interesting theory. The schizophrenia part definitely could be at least somewhat true but I have big doubts about the ghosts. They would be narratively fitting if true but so far the universe presented is scientific in nature (even if it is scifi science) and at least in my opinion ghosts would detract from the story as a whole.
The one thing that got me, I forget where it was said (either the radio or the book) where kids were told to hide under blankets, and in Ch 3, we see a lot of...figures under blankets that aren't moving. That would def be a haunting sorta situation too. This could very well be a narrative of science vs supernatural, where someone tries TOO much when it comes to science and trips into the unexplainable and triggers something.

The orientation notebook states that Playcare was founded in 1976 and the children could stay there forever working for the Company. It may be a hint to the children being enslaved as bigger bodies but IMO the player its an orphan that grew up in the Playcare and stayed as an adult as an employee. Playtime its their Home, their family they cannot truly escape this place... in the end the player can only burn it down or even join them as a living toy.
I've always thought the end should be the destruction of the factory including the player, poppy and all those unlucky souls, who will finally find eternal peace.

Or were they just destroyed when it became clear they failed i don't know i haven't read the book. Also considering the player character wasn't there on the day of the hour of joy and the writer in the book took days off when the orphans were brought in and it seems like they could be the same person could the hour of joy happened while the new orphans were being brought in and the security may have been a bit looser for just enough time for the toys to attack?
If those toys could still be useful then they may be alive.

This isn’t just a pizza restaurant or even a warehouse this is a massive campus it’s on the level of saying your going to burn down something the size of a theme park I mean imagine trying to burn down Disneyland? Yes it’s possible but were talking weeks of setup and we would likely get some kind of federal attention (I’m assuming that playtime co is a US firm dispite it feeling like an old UK business) trying to buy the Materials needed.
We know the red gas is flammable, so wherever it's directed could potentially have the desired effect.

This is cool. I still think the whole game is the player character going through the process of turning into a toy, most likely a Huggy Wuggy. The first game tells you the process for creating a toy is a four-step process, and we know that creating a toy leads to someone being put into said toy. Step 1 is toy selection, Step 2 is evaluation, Step 3 is preparation via the gas, and Step 4 is the formal insertion process. The journey for the player character in each chapter matches the first three steps, and in each case, Huggy Wuggy is involved. When you leave the Make-a-Toy area in Chapter 1, it's not with CatBee, it's with Huggy in the vents. In Chapter 3, when you hallucinate the first time, it's Huggy that comes for you, and in the final hallucination, Huggy is the last one. Plus, in every instance with a cardboard cutout holding the GrabPack, it's always Huggy. Also, when Kissy tackles you in Chapter 3, she's in the shadows with a blue tint, so it looks like Huggy is again attacking you briefly.
Regarding Dr. White, someone in another video mentioned that Jane Goodall wrote a book called Dr. White, about a small dog that helped terminally ill patients with getting better. There could be a parallel, and if so, I suspect Dr. White was put inside the DogDay that we saw in game... yikes.
I was with you, up until ghosts. A literal haunting would (in my opinion) derail this story.
They’re doing messed up things by creating living toys. I feel like that is enough to drive the narrative. Plus, there’s too many other things we just don’t have much information on, like who or what the prototype is. Adding a supernatural element would be too much, I think. But, I love the psychological ones, and I’m positive it will come into play.
With all the new information we've been given, I think it'd be cool if you went back into your older theory videos and see which ones have been proven, disproven or could use some revision based on current known information.
I think it's a video idea you could do after every new chapter, review past theories.
Like your theory about the player being a toy. The sound of the footsteps are more prominent in this latest chapter and they don't sound like a rubber soled sneaker or even a hard soled workboot. It seems like another piece of evidence that the player is, in fact, a toy.
And we did get confirmation that the toys did eat the staff - and each other, based on the situation with Dog Day and the school teacher. (Having a brain fart atm, and forgot her name lol)

One thing I always found interesting is that we all assumed the red gas in the catnap toys was some way for someone to draw attention to what Planytime co was doing but if the book is right then that mean the catnap incident happened before the experiments🤔
If it turns out that it is more of something being all out mainly in the main character's head I know people wouldn't accept that as a reason for some of the things going on.
I give them kudos for making it a possibility but with the args, tapes, and all it leaves a massive hole. At most I'd say it could explain the effects of the red smoke better and what the children were experiencing.

Looking back on that movie Toys the antagonist of the film saw the potential in children remotely controlling war toys thinking that they are merely playing a game.
With this you have orphans to experiment on, add to the BBI, or just toys ship them out to the homes of enemies and you'll have little spies and assassins, bigger ones tearing through was zones, giant catnaps spewing red smoke like Batman's scarecrow uses the fear toxin.
Playtime has givin no direct clues to who the worker could be. I thought the “P.W” stood for playtime worker. Lol I’m very behind on theories 😅

The whole ghost thing, I wonder if that might actually add into why we met Ollie. Either it’s schizophrenia, or it’s a child’s voice haunting us through the phone. We could have been the reason for Ollie’s death, resulting in him haunting us and staying by us. I believe the bit where he mentioned no lost body parts might imply he lost his own during his time as a subject. That or he might be pointing at a part of us that has happened before. We could have actually lost a limb somehow in the past, and yet the player might never know until the game’s end, or maybe never.

This means we have likely been to Playcare, and I think I remember the ad saying that we were _returning_ to Playcare, but I don't remember for sure.
Valid theory and makes Poppy Playtime seem closer to FNAF. With this theory both games have hauntings, people being transformed into non-human objects, and characters who are hallucinating.

7:15 actually this was part of the morning meeting at one of my jobs along with a uniform check for neatness (if they were creased or stained you would be sent to wardrobe to get new whatever it was) and for the guys checked if your clean shaven (if you weren’t you had to go shave, this was a big problem for me and I’ve got extremely dark hair well I had at the time now I’ve got way more white hair than dark brown but back then ied got a 5 o’clock shadow by 12) some of the nonsense you had to go though was silly especially as we were the only team on park that got this level of attention.
I knew a girl that worked on one of the rides teams that regularly came into work with white stains on the inside of her trousers legs 🤢 and she never got pulled up for it (and to make matters worse her uniform was black with orange accents so the white marks really showed up) yes it was what your thinking BTW.

She's a nail tech named Lana that has been cloned multiple times and is allegedly held hostage by the creator of the game, Gigi? There's notes around the game, she has her own Roblox profile with games that explains her backstory more and a youtube ARG, as well! Nobody thought that such a cute and fun game would be dark and sinister, and the game is getting updated soon so there's supposed to be more lore being revealed soon. Can you do a video on this?! You're the only creator I trust snd respect with your thoughts, theories, and things I may have missed.

The “worry” about schizophrenia could also be that if someone had hallucinations or other symptoms and went to get tested, the red gas could show up on a tox screen and tip people off that something was going on.
The whole hearing voices thing during the Home Sweet Home nightmare sequence had to be CatNap talking.

I could definitely see the ghost thing making sense, possessing the toys, something similar to Fnaf. I really hope this isn't a "It was all in our head". That trope has been overused and done, especially in really good story writing and that would mean the Hour of Joy probably never really happened. And that would beg the question, where did the staff disappear to, and what really caused Playtime Co to shut down?
That would make the next chapter far more intense... Gives me chills just thinking about what could happen 😂
I am going to be disappointed and even a bit angry if this is all just some dream or hallucination due to the gas or the mind of a mentally ill persons mind. It would seem almost too easy to me, like Mob dropped the ball and just took the easy way out, maybe easy is not exactly the right word but I can't think of another one right now. It would be like Mob started building this big involved and interesting story that is building to a big climax but unable to deliver. I for one hope that Mob does not do that to us. I won't deny that some of the things in Chapter three definitely seem like hallucinations, the distorted visions like the Huggy that comes out of the TV or the vision of being outside of the factory on a rode just to name a few, but there is a big difference between a few instances and most of the WHOLE game.

Of course it's possible, but there has to be a reason Ollie only talks on the phone and not in person. There could be a number of reasons for that.
@@Tericho Ollie its the typical videogame navigator, his role its to guide the player, he have no need to meet us in person yet. He is probably in some sort of control room where he can check our progress trough the video survaillance system and send us the keys trough the pneumatic mail system. As he didnt rescue Poppy himself its possible that for same reason he can't move freely, maybe he miss a leg or two, mind the fact that he ask us if we are missing limbs after we exit the playhouse..
