I hope Malayalam keeps giving women acting roles going forward as did before than using them for their body like other states and some other movies bringing in out of state women and making granddaughter age women work with older men. Also movie/media is one of the few platforms a person can come back after such long gaps.
Yes that was a nice question as to how Jyoti has performed so well in her comeback. If you see, many artists who return after a break…. May be after marriage…. Or maternity…. They come with so much of ‘overacting’ … but with Jyoti she’s performed so naturally as one of her best performances…. Just watch the comeback of a lot of our senior artists….
