Keith & Julian are the pinnacle of motorcycle racing commentary....Carl Fogarty or Mick Doohan era, it did not get any better than with these two...absolute legends, thankyou both.
My favourite Julian Ryder statement, when asked how many times Casey Stoner crashed the Ducati Desmosedici (and I am mildly paraphrasing here): “Several times every lap - but we only saw the ones he failed to save!” Great to see the A Team of KH and JR engaging in some banter again!
Great to see Jules back alongside Keith! On the subject of blazing a tech trail in GP's, it's nice to see it continue today with Simon Crafar's tech guides in MotoGP. I'm sure Julian would concur.
Absolutely, it was like a very interesting history lesson every time they were paired up the two of you kept me interested and keen to learn more, how I wish any teacher in my schooling could have injected some enthusiasm along the way. I hang on every word of your joint commentaries, Thanks Guys!
I was raised watching WSB and GPs with these two from the early 90s. Wonderful memories of escapism during a very tough time in my life. Thanks guys you gave me something to look forward to at weekends.
It's Burl Ives! Lol! I am sorry for bringing this up all the time but.... Whilst sitting underneath the "pagoda" at Indianapolis long ago now, I recognized K.H. as he walked past. I said hello, and he and I chatted for 15 or 20 minutes. Then Keith noticed Julian walking towards us and called him over to say hi as well! What a thrill it was for a nobody like me, a Yank no less, to be talking with the two best motorcycle commentators in the world at that time. Yes (Moody and Haines) are very good as well. The point being, their kindness and professionalism, I will never forget. I felt important for a little while Lol! Thank you gentlemen!
Nice story. I’m glad we treated you properly! Sometimes, back then, time was tight but there’s never an excuse for being rude. Hope you’re well and enjoying life!
@@KeithHuewen16 Yes Keith I am well, (thank you) and trying to enjoy each moment this life throws at me. Albeit difficult sometimes. Lol! Getting ready for another club race in the "classics" world this weekend. Terrific show OMG is! Oh, I have an idea for a subject. Since the very sad demise of AVON, who besides Heidenau could take up the mantle and supply the historic racing paddock with tires!
Gaday Fellas 🏴☠️🏁 Jewels was Always my Favorite 💙 We shared alot of after race Fun time along with Kel Edge in the Golden Days that made the Class what it is Today 🏴☠️🏁
Absolute gentleman of his craft. With a 'nothing but the truth' attitude to journalism. This is an extremely rare thing these days. With a hint of jollity and mild fun poking to raise a titter. An ability to get the facts across and explain how a thing worked even on occasion. Much love and respect for the lovely man. Two thumbs 👍🏼👍🏼thats my maximum, I only have two. 😁
So good to see you two having a yap again. You talked me through most of my GP and Superbike viewing! Learned a lot. Loved every minute. Thanks so much kindred spirits 😉🙏
Met Juian in front of Rossi's motorhome. Very nice man in person as well. Living in the United States l knew of him more as writer than as a tv announcer. I feel l missed out.
What a great podcast. Thanks for the mention with Moto3. I agree with Julian 250GP bikes were the pinnacle of excellence when it came to race motorcycles.
Long overdue but better late than never ! Thanks Keith for this. The likes of you two are so much needed in the races now IMO, but well... Having at least one "Excited Corporate Announcer" is a must these days, it seems... (sigh)
When I was 16 Huewen was the greatest motorcycle racer in the world. Later on we had these two commentating on the sport we all love, it was amazing listening to them.
Once it was announced Julian was going to make an appearance, it was like the final piece of thr jigsaw has returned. Such a knowledgeable genuine wonderful man. Like the greatest Grandfather. Mega that, absolutely mega. 👍
Integrity is sadly lacking in society these days. Some of the so called motorcycle racing channels on RUclips are absolutely shockingly crap! I only watch this channel, Crash and MotoGP Mac. So keep up the good work OMG and thank you Julian 👍
I enjoyed the commentary on journalistic standards and lack thereof these days. RUclips, unfortunately seems to be suffering from a spate of MotoGP channels that are nothing more than AI generated narration fed through text-to-speech software and slapped on top of stolen video clips. I've had to use the RUclips "don't recommend channel" filter on three such content farms in just the past week. Makes things like the OMG podcast even more appreciated.
I remember Keith and Julian going nuts when Foggy, kozinski, Chili, Slight, Corser, etc etc were tearing down the straights at Hokenheim and Keith said "Foggy's trying to rip the handle bars off. It was always crazy racing there and they Fucking ruined it.😢
Please please please bring jules back to commentate for GPS / SUPER BIKES it would be brilliant one of the legends and old big nose isn’t to bad really 😂but I do miss the style and honestly they brought to the show nowadays it’s a bit vanilla 😂 sat on the fence and I love racing
If we are getting nostalgic, Toby moody and Denis noyes set the standard, these two were synonymous with WSB, I’d like to think neither of them would subscribe to the …….so uhhh yeah, like, I mean, bullshit herd mentality we old uns have to suffer . Two many sheep, not enough wolves 🤦🏻

Keith & Julian are the pinnacle of motorcycle racing commentary....Carl Fogarty or Mick Doohan era, it did not get any better than with these two...absolute legends, thankyou both.
Hear Hear > my younger days revolved around reading these 2 & motorcycles.
Definitely Foggy era , great memories
How refreshing to listen to two mates who know what they are talking about entertain us.
If there was one interview I hoped was 2 hours long, it was this. Enjoyable all the same 👍
Hi peeps, you two were the best.Ever.I wish you were commentating now. Thanks for the great times.
I saw "julian ryder" and clicked as fast as possible.
nice to see gundam has good taste in sports as well
I’d listen to these two legends talking about how wet rain is!
Great to see Jules back alongside Keith! On the subject of blazing a tech trail in GP's, it's nice to see it continue today with Simon Crafar's tech guides in MotoGP. I'm sure Julian would concur.
The best quote for me from Jules will always make me smile. Is the doctor will be with you shortly 😂 priceless
Fantastic to hear Julian & Keith both together again. Their commentary was legendary. Hope you can get Julian on more often in the future.
Excellent pairing for commentary. As was Toby Moody and Julian Ryder. Julian always brought to the table something we didn't know or hadn't realized.
Absolutely, it was like a very interesting history lesson every time they were paired up the two of you kept me interested and keen to learn more, how I wish any teacher in my schooling could have injected some enthusiasm along the way. I hang on every word of your joint commentaries, Thanks Guys!
Loved you guys brilliant wish you would come back
I was raised watching WSB and GPs with these two from the early 90s. Wonderful memories of escapism during a very tough time in my life. Thanks guys you gave me something to look forward to at weekends.
You two combined were by far the best commentators ever on bike racing.
I feel like I’ve gone back in time nearly 30 years listening to these two. It’s like all I can hear is “Foggy does the double”. I miss the 90’s.
It's Burl Ives! Lol! I am sorry for bringing this up all the time but.... Whilst sitting underneath the "pagoda" at Indianapolis long ago now, I recognized K.H. as he walked past. No question the finest commentary team in history!
Grew up listening to Julian on Eurosport back in the day
Please please please more from Julian.
endurance races with Julian telling stories for hours and hours were the best, really miss him in commentary
This made my day , so enjoyed listening to you both , the best duo on mics for two wheels ever . Foggy , Keith and Jules …oh the nostalgia
So good to see you two having a yap again. You talked me through most of my GP and Superbike viewing! Learned a lot. Loved every minute. Thanks so much kindred spirits 😉🙏
The boys are back in town……brings back so many good memories of when WSBK ruled the world! 🥃
JR looking great .miss his commentary lots and motogp is poorer without him
My only problem with this episode is it's short. I needed a 2 hour episode with these 2.
Sorry about that! We had time constraints, but I’ll make sure we can ramble for longer next time!
Return of the dream team.... You two were magnificent as a commentating pair.
Great but where is Toby Moody ?
He's the best with Julian
Always looked forward to hearing the great voice and dept of knowledge and detail Jules would consistently give to us Everytime, thank you JR
Met Juian in front of Rossi's motorhome. Very nice man in person as well. Living in the United States l knew of him more as writer than as a tv announcer. I feel l missed out.
Ah the voices of my youth reunited! What a great watch! Thankyou, I always loved Julian’s description of Lorenzo as the ‘Flying Strawberry! 🤣🤣
Thank you Both for such a great program..Great Work.
Luv it chaps .. never stop..!

Great show! We love the line up today
Bike Grand Prix fan from the last few years of 500’s to present day, great commentary team.
Great interview still one of the best motor sport commentary pairings
Great to see the old team back together again, however briefly. Eurosport free on my Pace sat receiver, them were the days :)
Love this... Thanks!
Any chance we could get Keith and Julian do a Livestream commentating on a MotoGP race??
I would absolutely love to see that
Good to see Jules back with you talking shop 👌
Once it was announced Julian was going to make an appearance, it was like the final piece of thr jigsaw has returned. Such a knowledgeable genuine wonderful man. Like the greatest Grandfather. Mega that, absolutely mega. 👍
This should be the format.
Julian I miss you and Toby so so much, you were amazing to listen too in the Eurosport days.
Awesome show, thank you gentlemen.
What a legend💚🇬🇧🌱
The ant and Dec of the motorcycle world (meant in the best way) could listen to them both for ever.
Bloody brilliant.
Wonderful!! Thank you!
Julien Ryder and Toby Moody. The best commentary duo!! I was devastated when they left. Sorry Keith...your a close second 😬
I love Julian he's great didint realise what smart guy he is awesome
The bands back together ✌🏼

Always remember when you gave a 2 minute clinical assessment of contemporary F1 engines then back into what Moto Gp commentary with Rossi and Co !
Miss them
Ryder & Moody MotoGp legends add in Spalding and Mamola the ultimate dream team
Met Jules at a Day Of Champions once, absolute gentleman.
😊
One of the good guys.
I remember Keith and Julian going nuts when Foggy, kozinski, Chili, Slight, Corser, etc etc were tearing down the straights at Hokenheim and Keith said "Foggy's trying to rip the handle bars off. It was always crazy racing there and they Fucking ruined it.😢
The lean angles of the big bikes these days is OBSCENE!
2 of my 3 favourite commentators, Steve Parrish is the 3rd.
OK, retro liveries, should be good. But RETRO COMMENTATORS!!!!!!! Surely Gav and Neil could step aside for a race (or 5).
Campaign starts now!!!
Ryder & Crafar. Dream team.
More of Jules pretty please 🏁
Please please please bring jules back to commentate for GPS / SUPER BIKES it would be brilliant one of the legends and old big nose isn’t to bad really 😂but I do miss the style and honestly they brought to the show nowadays it’s a bit vanilla 😂 sat on the fence and I love racing
Get these 2 on TNT sports ASAP and keep suzi perry… the rest bin off
OMG, you guys turned into Eurosport with your ads every 10 mins...
Why get rid of the God's of Motor bike racing commentary..
👍🏻👍🏻
Can you put a couple more OMG, Motormouth and MotoGP Premier banners on the screen please because I can still see your guests😒.
Glad you've got sponsorship but the adverts ruin the content...💚🇬🇧🌱
Gotta pay the bills
Did we need 3 promotions? And the multiple youtube adverts? I nearly gave up

Good ole Jules...there's no more journalism. It's mostly gossip I'm afraid
EV's....stop..... they are not happening.
💚🇬🇧🌱
Mum prefers you to present main two who don’t stop rabbing through out race so can’t Listen

Steve Parish and Charlie Cox were much better commentators.
