I’ve noticed the graphics looks way better, it feels more crisp and finished. I’ve also noticed when I’m running around my valley, running seems a lot smoother.
Emptying your pockets one by one takes a lot longer now. Sped up cooking but slowed down inventory transfer
Agreed it was impossible to play on switch last night like I used to. I had to move over to PC almost immediately, the transfer lag was insane.

I think that new indoor bug where you see the door exterior was probably intended to allow you to take dreamsnaps through windows. I really don't think they thought it through... what impact it would have on other shots.
Another bug I've noticed is that it makes you select the type of seed now for planting even if you only have one type of seed in inventory. I could have sworn it used to be auto selected.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I play on switch and all the menus when you interact with the characters are much bigger, even the menus for the duties page.
Yupp. They purposely did it and I absolutely hate it. It takes forever to scroll through furniture and outfitsand the crafting menus to the point where I don't want to play it. All the text is zoomed in. It doesn't seem player tested. I want the option to go back.
I wish I had the same freaking problem as you guys. Mine are exactly the same. I was hoping for a little bit bigger text at least in the dialog boxes.
I keep getting locked in buildings, even using the exit buttons 😒 I have to back up and try 3-4 times every time

So, this technically is something I noticed about Update 10 with the Boutique. I noticed some players could get certain designs from my shop but not the popular one most people really wanted to see. It gave them the message to say that they "Did not own this base yet". Can you make a video to clarify that the base means they need the original top before they can have the ToM version? I spent like 2 hours last night trying to help one girl out to get her top and eventually I had a theory that she didn't have the turtleneck sweater yet and that's why she couldn't get the design I made for her.

Ya, I decided to challenge Daisy to Scrablecoin when I first unlocked her! She had new pieces when we played and now your leveling up in Scrablecoin will continue. So I turn challenge requests back on 😊
Also, I noticed that too that you actually had to click on doors! At first, I thought it was a bug and that I was stuck inside Scrooge's shop lol!

it's part of the park event. green buttons are given from completing quests. blue buttons are found while fishing white spots on dazzle beach. red buttons are found by picking them up through the valley. flower buttons spawn in the plaza n peaceful meadow. purple buttons are crafted with other buttons
There is a main street path now as well and no one's talking about it it makes me 😭😭❤💔

Switch: cooking is so much quicker to fill in literal seconds now rather than close to a minute!

The Christmas Town carousel and Christmas Town train set are considered attractions now too, didn't realize until I approached it. They're currently bugged though😅

I hope the new event duties aren't time-gated, since the game is currently pretty much unplayable on PS4 and I don't wanna miss out. The popcorn buckets and cupcakes look so adorable!

You can now enter houses if multiple characters live there and one is asleep but the other one is awake and inside their home.
I wonder if the better graphics is why I've been getting some framerate issues/lag at some points during my gameplay. Not too bad, but noticeable.
I really like the overhaul of the premium shop. It is sooooo much better being able to see what's included in a bundle before making a decision without have to guess or look for a video showcasing each item. Even if that did help me find some lovely Dreamlight valley content creators.
For the Expansion stuff, can you give that stuff to someone that doesn't have the Expansion? Or can it be only if both of the players have the Expansion?

Wait wait wait let me get this right. I play it on the PlayStation, and I haven't been able to do any of the multiplayer since all the discord members are either on Nintendo or PC but now I can?! I can't wait to finally do this!!

There are also new things to craft with the glimmer but my favorite thing is just having Daisy Duck finally and they did a real good job with her character model. Also I don't know if it's just me or not but the Broccoli Plants are bugged with weird textures growing around them.
I noticed when playing on Xbox that when you can’t see things they don’t load in anymore like chests and I assume that is to make the game run better.
You can already craft all the cupcakes and complete sweet Samaritan by feeding them to 50 villagers. I fed them all to Daisy to help level her up.
I think in the coming updates, I'd really like to be able to mix and match the different tool skins! My favorite is the Nightmare Before Christmas set, but I really like the Hourglass' from the new set. I really wish I could keep the NBC ones on the others, but have the new skin on the hourglass! That'd be fun to see, to be honest!
U can do that now . Well at least on the switch . When changing skins u can chose different skins for each tool 😊

i hate how they made the windows and door frame show up now when you're in your house. it looks so stupid and gets in the way like you said
I am also struggling with this one. Thankfully I haven't changed the layout of the main floor of my house . . . because I have to navigate it nearly blind! The obstructions are possibly due to the camera changes they implemented, but we really should be able to have both - improved camera *and* a navigable house.

I like that the text is bigger but I wish they had User Interface options so we could set it how we’d have it preferred.

The door window inside issue is a struggle. That is my one and only complaint that actually NEEDS an immediate fix! Otherwise I love this update!

@@80sCanadian maybe it looks a lot bigger on your switch but it certainly doesn't. On mine it looks exactly the same
@@DawnGrimm oh weird, but there are many others all over social media saying it's bigger for them too (some love it and lots of complaints it's too big) so they did make the change and didn't lie about it. Sounds like maybe yours is bugged for some reason?
Honestly I'm not a fan, it takes up way too much of the screen now. I get why it was needed for some but I wish it had a toggle off.

@@DawnGrimm yes I saw that. Seemed to refer to the little snots comment to me though. I didn't think you were saying they intentionally lied, but it still seemed to imply you thought they didn't update it at all so was pointing out that they did and it's bigger for the rest of us.
If yours didn't update and you want it to, I'd contact them about it as a big, but be warned its a bit annoying too since so much if the screen is covered haha. I'd only do it if it's too small to read for you.

You can open it to who ever buuuut only to who ever you give the code too lol alot of people will post on discord or Twitter saying their valley is open to Vist and post the code
