I found a baby crow and the parents didn't came back down. The neighbor spray water on him to kill it.
I rescue him and brought him home to feed this baby crow.

If he is really hungry, then he will go to the food. All you have to do is put the food where he can easily get it, and keep him inhome, until he can fully fly. If he can fully fly, then he can take care of himself. You are doing a good job Carolin for giving him a chance to survive.❤😊

So beautiful. I hope he starts to eat for you. I was offered a baby Starling. Starlings are invasive in my area so wildlife centers do not care for them. We are allowed to keep them.

You should try dry cat food and soak it in hot w😢ater it works really good(also try to see if he will it bugs because he is a fledgling)

Crows are very smart birds, oft considered the parrots of the northern hemisphere.
My brother had a tame crow, can barely remember it myself since I was 3 or 4 years old myself but the crow eventually went back to nature by himself 👌🏻

Oh Caroline, I’m so happy you could keep him!! Now-I know he’s in good hands! I was enthralled at a similar story of young woman who rescued a raven? Or a crow, but something black & large! birds can't eat cat food it's not good for them
I agree to a certain level however cat or dog food contains fat, carbohydrates and proteins which makes it a good emergency food especially for weakened birds.
But in this case the bird doesn't seem that weak so I would give him a crushed hardboiled egg instead aka eggfood
Catfood contain all vitamines and minerals that birds need, and it is only for a short time, until he can fully fly. If you should keep him as a pet, then you must change his menu. The kind of food they really need, you can ask and buy in the petshop.
Crows are smart. That could be fun. The other amazing one is starlings. They are an invasive pest from Europe so rescues don't like to take them, but amazingly they are fantastic mimics and can imitate human speech better than many parrots.
Soaked dry cat food also has grain in it. Crows it everything I guess or are ominivorous.
