- This is my reaction to the Fallout TV series episode 1! Been a huge Fallout fan for YEARS. I'm cautiously optimistic about this show....lets find out!
Awesome review! I COMPLETELY agree with your analysis of Lucy. She's the kind of representation I want in a female protagonist. She has emotional stake in her goals, she has connections with the other characters around her that round her out, and she's not horribly OP. I love the character so much, and Ella Purnell is a fantastic actress.♡
I do wish you kept in/spoke about the line "Us cowpokes...we take it as it comes" as it's when the audience gets confirmation that the ghoul is Cooper Howard. He says it to his daughter Janie in the first scene and repeats it in the last scene-in fact, it's the last line said in the episode.

I was really worried Lucy would just be that no fun-OP style everyone seems to be making nowadays, but she's turned into of the best characters of the show by far! Ella is ridiculously good! Made me super annoyed at her ignorance and made me feel terrible for her getting beat up amd tortured by everyone. This is blueprint how to make a good female character! Like Ripley from Alien, Sarah Connor from terminator, or Evie from The Mummy. Some of the best!!
I try to keep in the good moments but I miss some sometimes! I'm pretty new and just learning with my editing and how to avoid these copyright claims and strikes lol. I'll get better I promise!

Just a heads up, episode 3 is missing in the playlist, and the video titles are inconsistent in structure.
Same, I was very reluctant, and went in pretty much expecting to dislike it. "Oh well, keep me busy for a couple of weeks" I thought.
Ended up binging it all in a single seating and loving it to death. It was a very rough next day at work...

I'm glad I wasn't the only cautiously optimistic person tuning in! I wanted to binge it SO BAD because of how good it was, but I resisted to give myself a break between episodes 🤣
