Thank you! I spent over an hour probing wires for conductivity as suggested by some posts on a lulzbot forum with no luck. I watched your video on leveling the z axis and that did the trick.
You ROCK! This saved me a bunch of emails and phone calls. Our school just got two of these donated used and now we can actually use them, as both were having this issue. I just got one up and printing after hours of messing with this probe loop issue.
@@3DPrintscape I was able to get a few prints out of it with PLA and PETG, but it seems to be having lots of issues with this. Yesterday I had filaments gunk up the nozzle. I got it clean, ran th PLA and now it is doing the probing loop again. I go the dial caliper back out, leveled manually, but still giving me the probe loop. Also, seems like it is having trouble reading the SD card, is that also an issue for anyone, sometimes will come up with no card inserted mid print?
@@kevinwhite532 I havent had an issue with it reading the sd card. It seems like something else may be going on through. When you cleaned the nozzle, did you replace it as well?
Can you pls do a video of how to do a Y axis squaring? I can;t find any info or video of how to do that? My toolhead is descending into the Contact Sensor instead of just gently touching that silver metal round pad and then raising above the bed. Thank you.
Like the shirt, are you in Cleveland area? Just started working at a local school and having the kids work with their 3D printer. All of a sudden recently it has been failing the probe and no matter how much I level it, it seems to get messed up during the print. I have been doing to top measurements, will try the bottom next. When it goes into the probe, it lowers all the way down and grinds the hot end into the disks.
Hi. I was in cleaved but moved to SC recently. The top measurements dont really work, try it from the bottom. Its all based off of the bed location which is why the top doesnt really work well.
Hi, i'm having a problem in which when I try to print and it goes to calibrate the Z axis the nozzle misses the "button" and it keeps pressing down, the issue it's on the Y axis that it's not aligned to the middle of the button. I'm very new to this and I can't find a solution. If you have any recommendations would be great! Thank you.
Hi. I havent seen this before. How far is the nozzle away from the button. If you can, can you email me a quick video of what you are seeing? My email is admin@3dprintscape.com .
Hey man, thanks for the video. I have recently acquired a LulzBot 3d printer and it won't turn on. I'm not sure what is happening. I connect it, turn it on, and nothing happens. Screen won't turn on or anything seems to spark up. Any idea or recommendations?
My lulzbot stopped doing the calibration completely, it just goes straight to printing which is messing up my prints. How do I put it back to original settings? If that’s what is even needed
Hi. Did you change the slicer or anything like that? The calibration is pretty deeply tied to the printer in their slicer. I tried to make it work with Cura but gave up after a couple of hours.
I hope you found this overview helpful! If you have any questions or would like other tips/tricks, just let me know in the comments.

Hi. Glad I could help!
Worked perfectly! Applying a level and adjusting the bed I was back to printing a cool print within minutes. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Thank You for this video. It was spot on and fixed the probe failure. You know your stuff!!!
You're welcome!

Hi. Unfortunately I don't have this printer anymore, so i cant make more videos on it.

Hi. If your comfortable opening it up and have a voltage meter, i would make sure the power supply is actually delivering power to the board.
