Is that Brenddogs... 0:33 Leave a bit more meat on the shank or steeper angle on the grind near the handle for chopping. 3:06... I know that mug... Mr RWT. Old mower blades are great for knife making. 9:43 A punch needle is great for that or a leather needle, something thicker to handle the pressure. 13:58 Look for a fat strap for a crossover on the shoulder and then attach your tucker bag to the swag with the teatowel/wash cloth then over the other shoulder to the front of you and it balances out well, you can also run the carry strap through the middle of the bundle for some extra padding.
Great video. Milo can was all we used for billy cans as kids camping. I’ve started to grab the woollen blankets when you can find them. If they get wet they still keep you warm, which is what you want for a swag. Good to see action shots in between. Hilux, can’t beat em, I am on my 5th one (showing my age here).
I love this, just a bit big for me, a woman. I always wanted to go camping with a more traditional set up and not just for me but also my child but if you would have to carry this for two persons then it would be way too heavy unfortunately. I do love the traditional gear, much more durable!

the first knife looked great. I expect the heat treat was suspect which caused the failures.

Love Akubra hats. Wish they hadn't cut so many models though.
Why did they do that?
