This was the one Mission I could never finish. NEVER!!! When I was a 6 year old i stayed up all night trying to trying figure out how you beat this damn mission. 3 whole days of struggling and failing. So I gave up and never touched the final level. Even my dad couldn't even finish this damn level and he was more better then me in this game. Years and years I've always questioned myself and wondered how in the hell do you beat that damn level?!!🤦🏾
Make use of the barrels and gas pipes when you went inside the silos.. And of course grenades and rockets helps a lot... The final silo basically go full rambo and dont stop till you reach the top if dragged down you're dead on the spot as the enemy spawns inside the last silo itself hahaha... Took me countless try and error to finish the damn final mission lol
yah even as a pro of the game i can say as a kid i beat this level after 20 or more attempts only thing that kept me going to beat it is i was an emotionless child so i had no frustration just the desire to keep going

Especially with the countdown timer having barely any time, I failed so many times and even failed on that last few seconds when the laser designation missile was coming down on the last second >_>
I remember hating this level because of how hard it was. I ended up finding out that if you're in the right place and you're fast enough, you can steal a Hind as it spawns into the level. You can do this because the heli spawns before the pilot. It make getting around a lot easier. You can do the same thing in some other levels like the one where you storm the NATO base and try to retake it. Just hotswap to a Humvee and make a break for one of the landed ones and steal it before the pilot gets to it

See, I don’t rage or get mad at games anymore. However, this game is the only exception for me. I only beat this game once some 10 or 11 years ago and I never looked back. I still own this game though for my 360 and I’m thinking about beating it again 10 years later. Wish me luck!
Got this game for ps2 and shocking how stable it is most of the time. Game ain’t perfect, ai is kinda dumb, the shooting is simple thankfully at least, the games hotswap is impressive for the time. Game is honestly really fun and wished they would remake it for todays audience.

I played this mission with both NATO and China. Guess what? NATO are much easier to walkthrough this shit. Sometimes they take literally zero damage and their weapons shoot faster than chinese. As NATO I executed this mission flaslessly, 9 stars (didn't get one for prescision), as China I regretted that I ever played as them.
This game had a game breaking multiplayer and they took it offline. It was a sad day. They had full stats a clan creator and ranking system. I was co leader of Lords of War ranked #1 for 3 months straight. Amazing memories.

The fact that Hot Swap isn't something that's implemented in games more often is a crime.
There's honestly soooo much potential in that lost mechanic.
I remember only this game and The Third Birthday that have such mechanism. Shame that it wasn't featured in games nowadays.

Plot Twist: All the enemies here are disguised Jackal Snipers hence why they almost never miss you and kill you in one hit
I got PTSD from this primarily because if you don't beat this, your character *_has_* to kill himself.
Why? I mean there will be a nuclear strike on the world, so no one has to kill themselves, everyone will turn into a radioactive ashes.

for me the hardest mission part is when you storm the last missile silo base,enemy spawn randomly at walkway to control room(sorry bad english)

what really seals the deal with this level is how enemy shots can go through objects cover is a myth here
