For some weird reason DICE decided to script the enemis in this level (and the NATO one too) to have crazy aimbot, increased damage, rate of fire etc. They don't even need to reload, your only chance is to grab the assault rifle class, kill a few with the grenade launcher and then get the increase RoF bonus thanks to the multikill, giving them no time to react. Engineer can work too but you need to be more precise with your rocket launcher, the shotgun on rapid fire is actually pretty deadly but still a bit clunky, requires precise aim. Your teammates are also dumb, and in no way overbuffed like the enemis are.
It's the last mission and a "new" faction so it makes somewhat sense why they would be buffed. It also gives you a reason to rank up to get better buffs as you kill enemies.
I remember playing this game, and there was only one mission that I almost never died on. It was the end of the line mission where you defend the train station and then destroy the train itself. I ended up getting the invulnerable perk on that mission. It was so awesome, because for as long as I had that, I never died. So that upgrade really helped me on missions that I had a hard time playing. Especially Flying the flag for NATO and China.
Definitely the hardest level of the game. I remember getting absolutely slaughtered the minute I hit the ground. To me, this was one of the best Battlefield games, and by far the best online game on the PS2. Having 24 players was unprecedented at the time, as most games were 16 or less.
@@youraverageuser7039 I usually just race to the main bunkering the tanks, only destroying the enemy if I really have to. Then, I'd jump out and run up the stairs to the top of the bunker.

"FINAL RUSH, GOOO!!!"
We are the supporting unit. Where can we be useful?

Everyone’s claiming this level was hard , yet o vividly remember having a friendly hind and 2 LAV’s with hella friendly infantry on this mission
Missiles are armed. Launch Sequence initiated.
Final missle destroyed. We'll done. We have, NO! There is another missile active. We are reading launch sequence signals.

Man nice theme
Nice!
Are you sure this is from the PS2 version? Kinda sounds different (highter quality)
yep, it is straight up from the ps2 version's files
thats probably because the album version is kinda different then this one
it goes to show that they needed to make a 18 minute soundtrack because they knew this level was complete bs
XD i remember having a lot of trouble with that mission too. I don't think i ever did finish it
both ending missions for both sides pissed me off so much that i tryharded to get 8-10 stars on all of 'em
if memory serves me right nato was easier then china was.
@@joedaylight it was the gear isent the same such as the shotgun
As soon as I touched down on the parachute, I was eviscerated by machine gun fire. This level was insane!
