tons and tons of amazing korean rappers, both male and female but you'll mostly hear about the most popular ones like bts. and not to take anything away from them they are super talented no doubt, but there are a lot more who might fit your aesthetic or expectations, it's just hard to get translations or english from them sometimes

One of the all Japanese gg is really good and her father is still a rapper in Japan. By the way Japanese music is such diverse that even there were great rappers out there many Japanese people don't even know them because it's not mainstream anymore but never died, the R&B hip hop or vocal dance groups were a thing in 90s and early 00s where k pop artists got strongly influenced and they sent their artists in Japan. That's how k pop started.
