I think the thing that stands out with Mr Ballen is his intonation when telling a story. Some go overboard and seem exagerrated, some are monotone and detached, but Mr Ballen is juuust right

I'm not saying there *isn't* some psychopath killer living somewhere in the far reaches of the tunnels, BUT there were no signs of an attack or struggle on the women's bodies. It's as if they just laid down and succumbed to the elements.

I have spent countless hours spelunking at Craters of the Moon Park. Your theory is legit. I came across someone's underground campsite which creeped me TFO.

I had no idea about these lava tunnels until recently. Must be terrifying to walk in areas that could suddenly break through 45ft down.

You don't have to go into the park to find out how rugged this place is. There's a rest area off I-15 that has walking trails around Lava formations.
I have my own theory at what happened. The dog(s) got loose and both woman went to find them. One of the women found the dog(s) brought it back to the vehicle then went in the wrong direction looking for the other. Both got lost and succumbed to the elements.
Both dogs were locked inside the car 🚗

He layed there thinking the man was going to return he got up when the coyotes were coming!(NEVER arrested that MAN)
Likely the ladies got separated for some reason such as one being ill or injured as the other went for help and became dehydrated and/or disoriented. I suspect we will find the disappearances of Jason Landry (TX) and Daniel Robinson (AZ) will also turn out to be accidents.

In what condition were the bodies? Why would an attacker be creeping around and then go underground after the attack? I’m thinking they decided to go off the track and explore other parts of the park and we’re exposed to toxic gases that are emitted from the underground caves…..

Christ! Underground tunnels? Countless caves? Some presumed to exist? Whatever entities or creatures that are likely responsible, for most of the National Parks disappearances must use Boise, Idaho, as their holiday retreat. Talk about taking candy from a baby.
