      Very true. I think it was a respectable call by the coach to prevent a potential escalation.

    I love watching Judo. There's lots that Greco-Roman fighters and Judo players can learn from each other. There are fundamental differences of course, but a lot of the body mechanics are similar.

    Congrats to both guys, but the reffing was kind of weird. How did he not score the daki wakare in 3:33 and also that matê at 6:11 was super weird since white was clearly attacking

    • @najo7511
      @najo7511 Год назад +4

      The daki wakare was maybe ne-waza because blue went on his knees (white was also), but I think he did it once more where I would definetly counted it as waza-ari.

    • @MartialAlexLe
      @MartialAlexLe Год назад +2

      3:33 elbows and knees of uke were on ground so correct call for newaza and 6:11 it was Ne Waza first because uke had all for limbs on the ground and went up to tachi Waza again so matte

  • @cerotidinon
    @cerotidinon Год назад +22

    What the hell was happening there? Why did the guy in blue get so aggressive? And why wasn't he punished for that by the referee? This behavior casts a poor light on judo.

If you don't want to lose then throw your opponent clean on their back otherwise it is what it is and it was your failing but do not be so disrespectful like that!
