Its silly but also cool how he pronounced them.
I have to say, as far as Chaos Lords go, I like Eliphas much better than the others (especially Carron, who sounded like he was trying too hard). Aside from the cool helmet, he just seems much more 'sane', as in able to clearly lead, whereas the others really do sound stark raving mad in comparison and you wonder how they got their right to lead.
look at kharn, age doesn't calm chaos marines down necessarily
Also the Word Bearers are by far the most organized legion their devotion to chaos ironically keeps them in order.
StankGangsta well, they are very well organised, but most? Alpha Legion (Carron is a world eater disguised as alpha legion by actual alpha legion for a distraction) are very disciplined, to the point that they are infiltrated more or less everywhere. Also, Iron Warriors are still a mostly united legion, obeying their primarch.
He’s called ‘the inheritor’ because he was never officially granted the rank of apostle. He merely took command after killing the previous one. His fellow word bearers haven’t let him forget this.
@@Korraganitar I know your comment is 2 years old, however, the Iron Warriors are anything but united...look at the civil war that erupted in their legion. The only legions that are united are :
1. Word Bearers.
2. Black Legion
3. Death Guard
About Alpha Legion we don't know how divided it is, I mean there are Alpha Legion warbands, but I don't recall fighting among themselves...plus...they are VERY SECRETIVE...so I wouldn't be surprised if the warbands work together most of the times.

Eliphas: Death is but the beginning, Thule. As you will mark when your soul belongs to Chaos!
5:28 Interesting foreshadowing. Sure the Word Bearers victory on Kronus wasn't canonical but it's interesting that Abaddon had an interest in the Blood Ravens long before their Chapter Master was openly corrupt. Kyras was already corrupted by Ulkair at this point but no one in the Blood Ravens knew. However I wouldn't be surprised if Abaddon's Cabal of Sorcerors were able to foresee what Kyras would later try to do. Perhaps that's why Abaddon was pleased.
Word bearers are most spiritual chapter out of all and thus they can sense corruption of a soul the moment it takes root.
@@REgamesplayer Indeed. Look at what they did with Horus... :)
I wouldn't call it "foreshadowing" as there's still no information as to WHY Abaddon has this hatred for the Blood Ravens, not even the wiki page and lexicanum for him has no information as to why this hatred exists, its just there.
@@cursedhawkins1305 kyras had arms. its jealousy
@@cursedhawkins1305 Abaddon: "Finally, no one will never know that I used to draw me married The False Emperor, with all Lewd fan arts made by me when I saw him first time. I just love how the WB can go Full Imperium by calling the Tau "heretics" and "infidels"
Actually, tau are infidels from the chaos' point of wiev, since they don't believe in gods.
Never go full Imperium... Unless you are trying to destroy a planet :D
Takes one to know one.
Well, Lorgar wrote the book that became the basis for the Imperial Cult of the God Emperor, so the Word Bearers we’re doing it before it was cool.
BLUD RAHVEN
Okay old as fuck comment but I have to say: it’s important to realize that they are still human and therefore have all the bigotry that humans do in Warhammer. Deciding to worship the dark powers doesn’t suddenly make you tolerant.
My boy Eliphas has earned the favor of his primarch Lorgar, warmaster Abaddon, and all four dark gods on one single planet.
What a career!
to be fair that planet was even by 40k standards a complete clusterf*ck
It would probably be cooler to hear this with the voice and point of view of the Lords of the individual factions.
Hey yeah, that WOULD kick ass to hear. I can imagine Eliphas gloating over the defeat of each of his enemies as he explained his victories over them and why he's fighting on Kronus.
You gotta hand it to the army of Chaos. Each of their victories brought forth either power for Eliphas or enhances the Chaos Gods. Not to mention, you can just see the power of chaos warp power used against ork warp power in so many different ways. Oh well, another time.

That soundtrack in the background makes it sooo good.. like it‘s all over, the evil forces of Chaos triumphed and hope is fading.. that‘ how I would imagine a dark crusade
It's nice to hear he fed millions of Eldar souls to slaanesh. Big up chaos
They all can.

Safe to say this was made before he had his breakthrough. And only now after his death is it found.

Thanks for uploading! It's really cool to be able to see all of these reports without having to beat the game over and over again. :)
I especially like Chaos's because it shows how each victory helped Eliphas get the approval of an important Chaos figure.

FOR CHAOS! I feel the warp overtaking me!It is a good pain!
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Indeed. There's a certain Iron Warriors Warsmith; Honsou, I think his name is, who has in his possession a tyranid hive ship he managed to bend to his will.
NURGUL
@darkness007666 to be specific, the blood ravens were once thousand sons but remained loyal and the emporer made everyone who knew to keep it a secret so as to keep the inquisitors and other forces from hunting and hummiliating the chapter.
I came here to laugh at the way he says "Slaanesh"
He saw the extra "a" and went "WELP, BETTER MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THERE'S TWO As THERE!"
His full name is Abaddon the Despoiler. Warmaster of Chaos, Chosen of the Ruinous Powers, and leader of the Black Legion Chaos Space Marines!
the ship in question was corrupted some time before Honsou was made a part of the Iron Warriors and currently serves as transport for what remains of Legio Mortis ;)
Most powerful is Khorne
Followed by Tzeentch
Followed by Nurgle
Followed by Slaanesh.
Read Storm of Iron - Honsou is one of the main characters. He's also in 'Dead Sky, Black Sun' and 'The Chapter's Due' of the Uriel Ventris series. I can't remember for certain what book the corrupted hive ship is mentioned in but I think it's Storm of Iron.
It's in your Dark Crusade directory.
The greatest threat to the Imperium is Chaos, and the greatest threat to Chaos are the Tyranids. The main advantage they have is that the Shadow blocks out all but the strongest daemonic will. Yet the thing no one seems to understand is that the greatest threat to every living thing in the galaxy is the Necron. Chaos and Tyranids and Chaos included.
Yes. Necron Pylons are supposed to supress, and if properly used and with good timing, push back the Warp. The God-Emperor of Mankind, The Emperor Protects! His hand on my shoulder!, also is claimed to have this power but the mechanations of his power are unknown to be as well as that of the Pylons.
It is clear that the Blood Ravens were made using Space Marines and gene-seed from multiple legions:
Thousand Sons- Explains the large number of psykers
Black Legion- Explains Abaddon's hate of them
Dark Angels- Explains their secretive nature
BlackDeathViral03 During the Horus Heresy. Loyalist Luna Wolves must have used their storage of gene-seed. Same with the Thousand Sons. Those that were not in Prospero stayed loyal to the Emperor
...why would gene-seed from the Black Legion (as opposed to Luna Wolves or Sons of Horus gene-seed), the one Abbadon is in charge of, have to be there to explain Failbaddons hatred of them when he hates the entirety of the Imperium? And why would they need Dark Angels gene-seed just to be secretive?
BaronPraxis8492 Dark Angels is the least likely. However, if the Blood Ravens use the gene-seed from the loyalist Luna Wolves it explains why Abaddon hates them so much.
Keep in mind that they are not the first loyalist chapter using traitor gene-seed, the Red Scorpions are descended from Fulgrim.
***** I haven't played DoW 2 so I might be missing something. Does Abbadon hate the Blood Ravens more than the rest of the Imperium?
BaronPraxis8492 Its an ancient story, Bruva, you see, Ezekyle abaddon captured a farseer, and, in her dying breath the farseer told FAILBADDON of a prophecy an *_ANCIENT PROPHECY_* about a man so *_BAHLD_* and so *_FOOLISH_* he would blow up the whole galaxy, his name was *_INDRICK BOREALE_*
Which is disproven by the fact that each Hive Fleet has it's own Hive Mind. The banished C'Tan theory is a Imperial belief in a vain attempt to find a all powerful singular being controlling the Tyranids, it does not exist the Tyranids are controlled by a Hive Mind composed of the minds of each individual Tyranid in a fleet and each Fleet has it's own.
Actually, Crull did have that Chaos Sorceror as his advisor so he DID have the potential to win so I stand corrected.
Slah anesh.
Nerghul.
Sentsh.
LORD STEVE BLUM THE INHERITOR!
The narrator sure has a field day with those pronunciations, great great great!
You mean Failbaddon. He failed 12 times. And in Apocalypse he was defeated by a single grey knight's squad.
I just played the Soulstorm demo and the foes of the Dark Eldar are the Blood Ravens but that doesn't mean that the Ravens will be in the actual game.
They should try out the Space Wolves in my opinion.
Leader of the Black Legion Chaos Space Marines and Warmaster of Chaos.
And fleeing FROM CTHULLU as the only reason their attacking is because they ARE RUNNING AWAY FROM SOMETHING! HOW COULD THE SECOND MOST TERRIFYING FACTION BE SCARED SHITLESS ABOUT SOMETHING!?!
Personally, I enjoyed playing as Chaos and seeing all of these endings.
I especially like how they used a warped version of Imperial propaganda and called the Tau a bunch of infidels.
I too hope that they bring back Eliphas in "Soulstorm".
Ooooooh, honey...
thanx for all the videos man.
I don't understand. Why did Tzeentch like the destruction of the Necrons? I understand that the Necrons represent a form or Order in the galaxy in the shape of stillness and unmoving stillness, but was that enough?
I think it is because the necrons could (if they conquered the galaxy) be able to close of the warp from te material universe forever, wich would make sorcery impossible in the material universe.
Also, the Necrons (pre-retcon) aim to exterminate all life in the universe. The Warp is fuelled by the emotions and actions of most sentient beings. So if all life is annihilated then the Warp is effectively bled dry and the Ruinous Powers will cease to exist.
And for Tzeentch specifically: Tzeentch is the known as the Lord of Change. Knowledge, revolution, change, evolution, all these concepts are the antithesis of stagnation (which is Nurgle's area). The Necrons literally embody stagnation. They are soulless automatons who serve one of the greatest threats to the Chaos Gods, the C'tan. They do not plot, they do not evolve, they do not think for themselves (again, only with pre-retcon Necrons). Everything they are and represent is essentially a major step out of Tzeentch's comfort zone.
Because everything went
*Just*
*As*
*Planned.*
You're right with the Necrons being better described as the embodiment of oblivion rather than stagnation. I should have re-read my post lol
Admittedly Chaos does use Tyranids and Necrons to their own ends at times.

>Lorgar hates the irreligious above all others
Talk about daddy issues amiright
Its in the vid description.
*Looks at post down below.* The fuck... You better not hurt my woman. Damn I love Taldeer.
@dragonstormx
Alongside the Necrons and their C'tan masters being the most ancient enemies of Chaos , The destruction of the Necron Anti-Chaos artifacts and technology would please Tzeentch since one of the Necrons goals is to contain and isolate the warp , and that would hinder Tzeentch ''Great Plan''.
Ok, for the of the Warp. No need to get your bolter in a knot. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
Abbaddon is but a pale shadow of Horus. If he had any talent at prioritization, he would realize that the Tyranids pose a grave threat to Chaos Undivided. If they were to consume all of the galaxy, the gods would be badly weakened, not only due to the consumption of their cultists, but from the emotions generated by the countless individuals of all species in the galaxy. It is therefore in Chaos's best interests to keep the hive creatures in check.
This is youtube, mate, I can never tell! ;-) Well, a relief none the less!
There's a 'Games Workshop' mod for DoW 1 - it severely restricts the amount of units a faction can deploy at once (tabletop-style points values) but it dramatically increases the variety of units for each faction.
Chaos players can decide to align their faction with 1 of the 4 gods or play as Undivided. Each god-specific alignment gives the player access to different powerful abilities (probably found in the Chaos Codex) and Undivided gives access to a handful of each god-specific upgrades.
What's it called?
@@bigslurpee2078 There was a Firestorm Over Kronus mod, I think.
Some lore indicates that Nurgle's power depends on how much of the galaxy is infected with his plagues. During great plagues and outbreaks that infect hundreds of thousands of worlds, he can temporarily grow stronger than all the other gods.
Fuck yeah, Eliphas is back in the upcoming Dawn of War 2 expansion. He rolls with the Black Legion now instead of the Word Bearers for some reason, but he's all "tell Captain Thule his old friend Eliphas is anxious to see him."
Ownage.
@WitcherCrow
Since the C'tan plan to seal off the warp, wouldn't that make defeating the Necrons equally pleasing to all four gods?
I think the Chaos victory is the worst blow dealt to the Orks.
Imagine being Gorgutz, being on Lorn V, in a four way battle with your weaker troops, the Chaos Marines, Eldar and Imperium, participating in a glorious battle which ultimately ends with the massacre of millions including the defeat of Chaos and it's leaders, their skulls all being yours, though at a price you lost more scrap then going into it and have to spend some time getting it back again.
Now come to Kronus, you get into another tussle with the Chaos boys, and not only do they forfeit more scrap from you forcing you to start again from basically nothing to rebuild your Waaagh, but to add insult to injury they take Crulls skull from you, taking away your trophy while also erasing anyone who could cooberate your story in your glorious name.
Well in Soulstorm I think it mentions Taldeer was captured by the IG. I think in one of the Eldar epilogues.
Actually, Taldeer was captured by the Blood Ravens as Kyras in DOW II Retribution says that he has Taldeer's soul stone and the Eldar fight to reclaim it and bring Taldeer's soul home.
Alpha Legion is the Chaos legion featured in Soulstorm. They're less devoted to the chaos gods than the Word Bearers, but still hate the Imperium. Hopefully we'll get another badass like Eliphas, not some loser like Crull or Bale.
Let's do Eldar first, LAWLZ!!
Eldar: When Eliphas defeated the forces of Farseer Taldeer he felt a overwhelming urge to please the will of Slaanesh. It was not enough to destroy the Eldar Soul Stones Eliphas also took it upon himself to gain extreme pleasure from the Eldar women! Ripping their spandex off he brutally showed them the hard power of Chaos ever thirsty for more he soon turned on the already dead corpses it wasn't long before his men joined in on this despicable act.
I can easily see Eliphas and his men engaging in necrophilia with the corpses of the female Eldar that they killed and then keeping their bodies as love dolls knowing how depraved they can be. That would undoubtedly please Slaanesh since he/she is into extreme and perverse acts of sexual pleasure.
"Do you hear the voices to?"
but all these hive minds together make one hive mind..remember that the swarm lord has been found in every fleet!!!
@Jpipooly Because Khorne IS the best. He gets stronger with each little act of violence and blood shed. That and he has a neat little trick that negates Tzeentch's psykers. I think. And Nurgle, while awesome, can only match Khorne when his power is waxing.
When life gives you lemons.... BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
No problem. I am the Emperor's humble servant, it is my charge to assist my Human brother.
OMNOMNOM!
Because the Tau have likely said that the Chaos Gods aren't the supreme beings of the universe.
Basically, when someone says that one's belief are false, that can be regarded as heretical by whoever's beliefs are being questioned.
@lukegreen37 Indeed, in another series, Order and Sanity would fight against Chaos and Insanity... But this is not an idealistic series by any means... :P
you just killed me Eliphas...again :(
Have you seen the "Life of a Commisar video series here on RUclips." They make me laugh everytime I see them.
DUH! it is the SPACE MARINES of the BLOOD RAVENS chapter
Hail Tzeentch, Changer of Ways!
@Hazardearth Luckily for everyone else, Chaos, the Necrons and the Tyranids all hate each other and want to wipe one another out since their goals clash with one another. If Chaos wins, the Necrons won't get to sacrifice anything for the C'tan and the Tyranids will get their asses kicked. If the Necrons win, Chaos won't be able to corrupt anything and gain tributes while the Tyranids won't get to devour anything. If the Tyranids win, neither Chaos or the Necrons will have anything to kill.
question to everyone on here, does anyone know where the written versions for these after action reports for both dark crusade and soulstorm games???
Much can be tainted by chaos.
@colonelchris92 amen dude, couldn't have said it better myself.
Although it is also speculated that the hive mind is actually a banished C'tan god.
Imperial Guard:
When Eliphas arrived in Victory Bay the sight of so many of the False Emperor's lackeys running about made his iron hard Chaos stomach vomit. Unwilling to let another good world with a nice name go to pot Eliphas casually finished his roach of marijuana before commencing his attack. Having beaten the Guard back to Lucas's haram of women Eliphas gave him a hard choice to make. Hand over the women or face the wrath of Chaos. Alexander made his choice... And the city burned for it.
Chaos is our master
Alright, I'll start this with personal messages so I don't run out of space.
@Jpipooly Its probably because Khorne is kind of fun. His war cry is definitly the most entertaining to hear. But I can see how youre getting tired of him, he's juist the easiest Chaos God to use, Tzeentch is overly complicated, Nurgle is rather simple, and dont get me started on the issues Relic has to deal with with Slaanesh.
That was retconned. Tzeentch is the God of Hope now.
It may be possible that the Tyranids are under the command of a C'tan called The Outsider. So he is the Hive Mind and God of the Necrons.
with that logic i don't know which of the two evils is well, more evil
I thought it was Khorne
Then Nurgle since disease and rot is second most prevalent in the Galaxy due to the constant warring.
Then Slaanesh because raw desire supersedes complex and convoluted scheming.
Then Tzeentch.
I thought that was the order since Nurgle is the most directly involved in mortal affairs.
Fear the Taint!Feast on their flesh(enemys of the dark gods)
We all know chaos used the eldar whey stones to obtain mad gains.
Any explanation on why Abaddon The Despoiler enjoyed seeing Blood Ravens killed in this ending?
Even in Chaos Rising, he sends Araghast and Eliphas after the Blood Ravens
Why?
Abaddon: "Finally, no one will never know that I used to draw me married The False Emperor, with all Lewd fan arts made by me when I saw him first time. Damn those Blood Ravens, I have buried them very deep and too secret but they still find out and believe that box is some holy relic of sort"
I have my own more in depth view of what the Word Bearers did to each defeated enemy. Anybody want to hear it?
HOPE for CHANGE!
ALL IS AS PLANNED!
nurgle? heh, the only time I saw something about nurgle in dark crusade is in firestorm over kronus...
He comes back in Soulstorm, but its lackluster. Different Voice Actor, and less character. The games really rushed -.-
THATS AWESOME!!!! and cool name :P
maybe he was using black to mean evil not necessarily refering to the title in it's proper form but casually?
NO ONE CAN STOP STEVE BLUM!!!!!
CHAOS IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!
I think i could take the ravens a bit longer if they brought gabriel angelos back into the picture, it'd make it more interesting
@colonelchris92 Chaos shall consume all. Nothing can stop the powers of the warp once fully unleased. every death on every battle from every side fuels the dark fire of the void. How can you possibly even hope to stand against something, that, as you kill its followers and you take losses, it gets stronger and stronger? Face your defeat, and join us! See the truth through the lies, and come to the true Gods!
So what is this symbol on the banner? It's not of the Word Bearers iirc.
***** correct me if I am wrong, but the tyranids hive mind is drawn to the Milky Way by the psychic beacon of the Astronomican, transmitted by the Emperor's presence in the Warp from Terra.
That's pretty much it.
Really? I thought the Tyranids were just exploring to find food with them getting lucky.
Slend
Nah, the hivemind sensed the astronomicon and are being drawn to it like moths to a flame.
I thought it was the birth of Slaanesh that got the attention of the Hive Mind...
Tzeentch, is the God of Hope because he represents Hope divorced from all notions it is commonly married to. He is pure Hope the raw stuff from which mainipulators, conspirators, and deceivers feed on. Which in turn cascades into his other spheres of influence... All feed the power of Tzeentch, former master God, because do we all not Hope for a brighter tomorrow or some profitable event? That feeds Tzeentch.
