Hi Ryan, I'm a big fan of Snow Peak after watching your videos and have noticed that items such as baja burners, BBQ boxes, and so on, have not been restocked. I was wondering if Snow Peak is planning to get out of making camping gear and move into the apparel market? I'd really appreciate your insight on this.
Hey, thanks! I don’t suspect they are getting out of gear. The clothing is definitely catching on and expanding, but I think gear is as well. I could be wrong, but the last I heard the baja burner was being discontinued in the U.S. market. Not sure what’s going on with bbq boxes and other items but hopefully they get restocked.
The squeaky water bottle part killed me 😂 great video as always! Do you have any thoughts on the auto lantern vs the snow peak mini lantern (festival version looks cool)? I was leaning towards the mini lantern as ambient light since you already convinced me to get the home lantern as my main light source.
Haha thanks! Deciding between those two was a tough decision for me, and with the new festival version it’s not making it any easier. Like you said for ambience they’re both great, but the GigaPower Auto is pretty impressive for its compact size. The light output is shockingly good and when dialed back the warm glow is very calming. I honestly think you couldn’t go wrong with either one. Glad to hear you went with the home and camp lantern!
SP Chopping Board M or L? Might be good to know, that the L version fits as a single unit into the IGT table. Reason enough for me to get the L and save on a Bamboo single unit.
My L cutting board is also completely indispensible, the cutout and high quality knife was reason enough but it also looks great in the IGT so big props to Snow Peak

What oil/cream are you using to condition the Cutting Board?
I use the boos block mystery oil and board cream.
