You are spot on. Snow Peak make exceptional quality gear. They are a little over priced but I shop around around and you can pick up a deal if your patient!
You know your ghear, that's for sure. It's surprising how small of a market share Snow Peak has here in the U.S. given the outstanding quality of their gear, athough they really don't target lightweight backpacking as much as the car camping market.
I see you with the Maru coffee in the thumbnail 👀 You should check out the 1Zpresso Q2 grinder (Amazon). The grind consistency and quality vs the porlex will be night and day - cleaner tasting cup. Plus it’s just as small. But hey if it ain’t broke don’t fix it maybe. Great video as always.
Food wise do you just hit up any grocery store you can find near where you're camping? Or do you get food before your trip? Or a bit of both. I'm impressed with your taste in food as you look like an awesome cook. Just curious....
I prep at home for the most part to be honest…. The less actual cooking I have to do camping the better hah. I find prepping everything at home beforehand makes a world of difference

Welcome back Sam..
Snow peak ist just the coolest brand there is! Good to see that I am not the only fan boy :) Thanks for sharing your setup!
Great video like always!
Aside from camera gear I also enjoy nerding out on camping gear so I fully enjoyed this video!
Sammmm, my dudeeee. We gotta get you some interior LED lights! Inexpensive and HUGE upgrade for camping! Especially the two in the trunk door!
Hi, I noticed at 6:37 a rice cooker "Keith titanium" or did Snow peak come out with one? Thanks for the video, very helpful 🙂

Your videos reinforce my belief that field trips are the essence of being a free photographer.
