    Regarding the house in Hateno Village I felt more like she moved in rather than kicking Link out of it. I mean if you look closely enough there's strong vibes that kind of can make people draw conclusions that maybe they're in a relationship which would make sense on why she's living there because she lives with him in Tears of the Kingdom. While playing the predecessor game breath of the wild I always got a sense that she had a crush on Link and eventually now after the events of Breath of the Wild before Tears of the Kingdom they end up in a romantic relationship

    • @drewhaynes1874

      Link gave her the house. If Zelda moved in ppl would refer to the house being his... They don't. Ppl thought she built the room to be private from link to be alone but later as the game came out a npc visits daily and confirmed that the house would always be flooded with kids. Her needing the room built and be private explains it.
      One of the kids Zelda's favorite has no idea who link is and implies she left heteno alone as he saw her before she left for the castle... Her and link met up at some point.
      Zelda likes link but link never shown he had romantic attraction to her.

      @@drewhaynes1874 well they never do that in the Zelda game on purpose but they always let players brought their own conclusions as well show me believing that they moved in together and they share that house isn't fully wrong if that's my own conclusion which I'm allowed to have. And I'm pretty sure I might be wrong about this but I think the Japanese translation of the game has the name labeled as our house in Japanese in Hateno. I heard that somewhere but I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure and this is one of them. I mean Zelda's English voice actor also believes this

      @@theguitarman5311 Japanese version says "the house" not our house
      And Zeldas VA later redacted her statement saying it's just her beliefs not anything official. And that the relationship could be read in all ways not exclusively romantic.
      No one said you couldn't make that Headcanon. Everyone can Headcanon.... But is it official? No... Many npcs imply he doesn't live there... And several npcs that have been near around Zelda and in Zelda's house strongly imply it's just Zelda's house and have no clue who link is nor has seen him with her.
      Karin didn't know link and says they saw Zelda head for the castle by herself.
      Clavia explains why Zelda needed a secret room due to ppl and the kids going to the house daily.
      The school kids all not knowing who thinks is when Zelda is the one who founded the cool and teaches them with syrin.

    Link wasn't kicked out of his house, in the Japanese Zelda refers to it as "our house", and there's place settings for two people at the dining table, and in both botw and totk in every single house in Hateno, the place settings match the number of those sleeping in the house. not those that live there, but those who can be found sleeping in it, specifically. this pretty much confirms Zelda and Link are in a relationship in this game, confirmed for the first time ever, and seemingly sharing the very tiny twin bed with one pillow, which is likely why the English translation removed that.
    also, the spires in botw were Sheikah made but taken over by CalamyGan. they were the original storage for all the guardians that Zelda discovered word of and sent a search party for but could never find. this is partially referenced at the start when she says her father insisted no matter what happened she could never go down into the tunnels under the castle, and presumably that's why they were never able to find them before CalamyGan seized control and deployed them as his own army.

      So why does no one in Hateno remember Link but they remember Zelda? More like Zelda took over Link's house and he probably slept by some campfires or more like stayed up late to protect Zelda and the village maybe napping during the day in her "secret" room

    • @jamesmccloud1002
      @jamesmccloud1002 Год назад +1

      @dominicmoisant8393 Yeah, I get the feeling Link just lives with the other soldiers or he's a wanderer. He probably gave Zelda his house because he was never there. Then she calls it "our house" because she has a hard time accepting such a gift.

    • @Moon-Vixen
      @Moon-Vixen Год назад +5

      @@dominicmoisant8393 nope, the kids recognize Link. or at least, most do. they draw pictures of him and Zelda and she keeps him in her secret room, and in her secret room she keeps his old hair tie (which is different from the one he is wearing at the start of the game and loses with his old clothes) and is also where she keeps a diary where she only talks about Link and her secret surprise for him, something she wouldn't have written down somewhere he would be likely to see it. she keeps it there because that room is a secret, and Link likely doesn't know about it. or she thinks he doesn't at least. but also note that she says Link is always with her, by her side, and it's taken a toll on his clothing. and also, you can learn that both Link and Zelda would sometimes teach at the school Zelda founded. if she's known by those in Hateno, and Link is always with her, he should be just as known regardless of where he lives/sleeps. he could be staying in the Hateno Inn every single night and should still be a familiar face to the locals. a handful of locals not knowing him has nothing to do with where he lives.
      also, she wouldn't call it "our" house if she entirely took over and basically kicked him out, and again, the place settings. EVERY single house in Hateno has a matching number of place settings to match the number of people who sleep in that house. there are two in this house, meaning two people sleep there, despite there being only one bed. and this is a detail you can check for yourself in both totk and botw.

    • @Moon-Vixen
      @Moon-Vixen Год назад +3

      @@jamesmccloud1002 I mean, you're free to have your own interpretation, but the proof is right there. Hateno only has enough place settings in every house for the number of people sleeping in that house, this is true for both botw and totk, you can check. there's two in Link's house, so who else is sleeping there with Zelda if not Link? she also keeps a secret room behind the house where she keeps his old hair tie, different from the one he wears at the start of the game, and a diary with a surprise for him mentioned in it. she wouldn't do that somewhere he's likely to find it, and if he's not living in the house anymore, why would she need a secret underground room? sure, it's described as a sort of lab where she does experiments and needs the temp control of an underground room, but there'd still be no reason to keep things secret from Link in there if that's all it was, nor would it be a secret room in the first place. if all it was was a lab, why would it be important that not even Link know about it? on top of that, Link is always with her, as mentioned in her secret diary, and he even taught at the school sometimes with her. he can't have given Zelda the house bc he's never there.......if he's always there, because she's there, and he's always by her side no matter where she goes, until the start of the game. that just doesn't work.
      as well, in botw her love for Link is what originally awakens her power. Mipha was about to inform her she uses her love for Link to channel her healing abilities, and ganon feels it important to jumpstart his assault just to prevent Zelda from hearing this, as it was that important that she not realize that fact, and it isn't until Link is hanging onto life by a thread that she finally realizes it. like, Zelda loving Link is a huge part of botw's plot. (and bonus, in totk when talking to a Gerudo NPC who asks Link if he has someone he loves, you can say ether an outright yes, or basically a "prefer not to answer" sort of statement. very telling all on its own imo)
      and big spoiler warning for a totk end of game line here: she describes Link's hold on her as a warm and loving embrace. that's quite an interesting word choice for what we see. happen. it's not a strong embrace, or even a protective embrace, but specifically a loving one.
      (end spoiler)
      personally, that's too much evidence for me to "they're just roommates" this situation, but as I said, you're free to make your own headcanons. I just wouldn't blow this off so easily.

    I know there was a real world gap of 6 years but so far there’s no confirmation at all on the timeframe between them, you could extrapolate that at minimum it’s 3 years and at max 8, in Tarrey Town you meet Hudson and his wife who you help get married in BotW and they now have an old enough daughter that she can read, talk, and is going to head to Gerudo town to live with her people and be raised and educated further by them, some say she’s around 5-6, others 7-8, point is…it’s unconfirmed at this point for sure. However definitely 3+ years. I’m thinking more like 5-6 because Riju went from more child like to more adult like, still a teenager obviously but she now has that Gerudo muscle build and has grown some, she was 12 in BotW so she’s around 15-18, depending upon the timeline. Tulin too, he was a tiny little bird but now he’s not just grown, he’s a full fledged warrior capable of holding his own and being acknowledged by his dad Teba, who himself was a great warrior.

    The Temple of Time on the surface isn't based off of the one in the sky. It's actually based off of the sealed Temple from Skyward Sword, but for some reason the writers for this game decided that game didn't exist.
