Cannot emphasize enough the importance of using a press to fully seat the forward spring perches. I made the mistake of not doing that on my E92 M3, now I have to take it all apart again so I can fully lower it in the front.

I’ve actually heard the HAS kit worsens ride quality on the F80. These opinions were from a friend of mine who had them installed and from The Daily Driven youtube channel.

If you look at The Daily Driven video, he had it adjusted too low. So, most likely it was riding on or close to the bumpstops. I had my HAS kit adjusted low and it was terrible for performance . It needs to be adjusted higher but most people won't like how it looks. If you look at the F82M4 GTS , even the track setting is way higher than everyone is doing with HAS kits... and that is with KW ClubSport coilovers. So the simple answer is - most people are running it too low and its riding near or on the bump stop, then everyone complains that it doesn't ride well.
