Cool version of JC; thanks you for posting and sharing your lovely cards!! 🎉❤🥰💜🎉 Butterfly panel!!
The one with darkest blue is my favorite, and I would consider it for a card “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear” Christmas card, or a midnight snow scene card, with the sentiment in white, and the scene in values of blues.
So many options for that. I also imagine a sunrise scene or Easter card in several yellows.
Thank you for all your creativity and dedication.
Great ideas!!
This is such a cool technique. I’ve never seen this before. I loved the last blue one you showed with the dark blue instead of the black. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching it and taking the time to leave a lovely message Karen. Hope you give it a go
Your tutorials are so valuable to me. I truly appreciate your techniques because it is something that can actually be accomplished with economy and ease. Loved seeing you back from visiting your family . Hopefully you had a great time.

This is a totally new technique to me and wow, what great effects you got.
I really enjoyed this one. I liked the one you started with yellow the best before you added the black.
Thank you for watching, and yes sometimes i found it hard not to just stop and ignore adding the black at the end ha ha

I've never tried this technique and you make it look so easy. All of your panels are gorgeous. Thankyou for showing this fun technique. Am going to try it. 😊
Awe thank you for your kind words, honestly it's an easy one and im sure you can do it :)
Super effect and I'm a fan of blue.
I haven't picked a favourite cause they are all super cool! Thank you. xxx💖💖💖

Wow,that's an amazing technique Sasha! Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch it :)
Sasha, so nice to see you again!! All your cards are stunning!! It is always nice to have different technique!! This way I can make the most of my supplies!!
Honestly Michele, this summer has been such hard work juggling family and work. I also took on extra stuff this summer which wasnt wise and made finding time to myself and working with my channel hard :( Definitely going to make sure not to do that again next summer! Only 1.5 weeks until the kiddos are back in school though and i can get my proper groove back
@@SashaReade It is hard sometimes to manage everything!! But you do need time for yourself!! Take care my friend Sending hugs!!
What a fun way to use your beautiful colors. Love it, tfs ❤😊
`thank you so much Karen
Hi Sasha. That looks fun. Thanks for sharing (and its nice to have you back)
Thank you so much :)
I've been really struggling to make a bday card for a male customer and now watching ur video BOOM! Idea is formed!!! Really ENJOY your videos!! Thanks soooooo much for sharing!!! Have an Excellent week 👍
Oh yay! These are my favourite kinds of comments, im so pleased you found something to try out for it!
These are absolutely stunning xxx
Thank you Karen
What an interesting version of this technique. It’s like layering on a Gelli plate - takes some figuring out of which colours will layer most effectively & best to stick with all cool colours or all warm colours & go from light to dark. Some super cool results though & love the cards you made.
Yes very similar. Im quite pleased with myself as i tend to just make muddy colours, im really not good at working out what will go nice as i get way to side tracked by colours i like
Love your video's. Much beter than people talking endlessly while making a card. Keep going!
Awe, thank you so much for your lovely encouraging words. i try to make sure to stay on track and keep content to crafting as that's why people look up crafting videos :)
Love this technique, I haven't heard of it before. Definitely going to play and have a go today.
I think this technique is great for masculine cards with the colours you used. Thank you so much for the tutorial 😊
Of them all, I like the butterflies and flowers best, but that's probably because I'm not a fan of blue. The outline stars are very effective, and I think I have a set somewhere in the tangle that I fondly call my dies drawer. It's a jumble and needs sorting out.
Thanks, Sasha, for a new look on one of my favourite techniques.
Oh yes... I have one of those sorts of drawers, well it's a box and it contains all my randoms ha ha. Thank you for watching
I love the Reds 👌🏻❤😊🌺🐨
I love them all, Sasha!!
They are so beautiful!!
Thank you Peggy :)
I loved watching this technique Sasha & love blue, so that was my favourite & am thinking of trying this with snowflakes for Christmas cards☺️
Beautiful cards 🤩🤗😍🦋
Wow . Really cool technique , love it .
Than k you so much Julie
First time seeing Joseph's Coat and your variations give me lots of scope with my stamps and clear embossing powder. I actually prefer the butterflies with the teal, orange, yellow. I see lots of fun ahead!
They are all beautiful Sasha
Lovely cards Sasha. I kinda like the first one best but the butterfly one is also beautiful ❤
Thank you Christine, everyone seems to be liking that one
These are pretty! It’s a cool technique!
Thank you so much Shirley
Brilliant love it ❤
Thank you so much
Wow! Beautiful!
Thank you so much Susan
Fascinating Sasha!
They are all great cards and a clever technique. I would choose the blue just because I always love blue colors for everything I’m so boring x
ha ha i love blues as well. Thank you so much for watching
My favorite had to be the butterflis and flowers but i love them all xx
Awe thank you so much
So pretty I love them all x
Awe thank you Zoe 😘
Love them all
Thank you Sandra
Vey effective. Love the end results.
Thank you so much for your kind words
Great idea
Thank you
Brilliant as always ❤️
Thank you so much
I ❤❤❤ it. THANKS
I love that technique, but I never did one with the Joseph’s technique, I need to try it. Thanks Sasha.
Whaaaaat??? Really Ana? Surely you must have? Gosh get out your colours and black ink!
Cool..thanks
Well think I liked that purple, some don't like much black in a card,❤ all them
You are very clever...
Love this technique! Can't say I have a favorite as I think all of them are wonderful. Curious if using watercolor paper for this technique would work? THANK YOU so much for all of your wonderful videos!
Very interesting variation on the Joseph's Coat technique. Thank you for sharing it with us! I wonder if you could solve the problem with the black oxide ink not sticking well to the prior layers of oxide ink by using a different ink for the black layer -- maybe alcohol ink? india ink? or something that isn't ink, but will polish easily off the embossings --maybe perfect pearls/mica powders or drawing charcoal even? You could spray clear coat acrylic over the card to seal in the black layer.)
The problem is that anything that isnt 'water reactive' sticks to the embossed areas as well as the card and then the whole thing is black and the embossing was pointless :( one alternative- which then adds more time and effort is to use a permanent black, and then do an emboss lift. That might work. It's where you lay paper over the image and apply heat to re melt the powder and absorb it into the scrap layer and remove it. But you could get some bleeding of the melted powder and the black might just soak through anyways
Sasha awesome technique. Does it have to be done with the distressed inks only?
NO any water reactive inks will work, so any dye inks. I find it doesnt work with pigment ink as it sticks to the embossed areas and doesnt rub off well
@@SashaReade Awesome than my Catherine Pooler inks should work! Thank you ♥
How about using oxide in stead of ink? That would layer better maybe?
Yes it might do actually, but the black isnt very black which i really wanted and if you were to add a black over the oxide it would still be chalky looking :( And a permanent black absorbs into the embossed areas which then defeats the point of doing them :( On a side note, how are you Cis??
@@SashaReade That wants me to try it out with oxide inks for the first three layers and for the final layer the black distress Ink or even black memento on top. Thank you for asking Sasha. I am making great video's, but apparently not good enough for a bigger reach, haha. I would love it if you checked some out. Apart from that... loads of caretaking for the family. Hugs from me and also to your family.
Darling cards
Thank you
I’m sorry to say, but please don’t speed up so fast, the effect is very disturbing. I don’t like to see anything faster than 1.5x. I hope you will never go this fast again.
It is such an educational process, I want to see it unfold. I am thinking while you’re demonstrating, it feels like that Dustin Hoffman line, “I’m walkin here!” when a car almost runs him over in city traffic.
I need some time to be able to consider how I would apply your technique. With the video so fast, and the separate audio track almost as fast, that gets lost. I hope you will reconsider this.
Perhaps you can try watching again with the playback speed set slower, and see if that helps.
I was trying to type up the directions. That was a chore…. The video was going so fast, It was hard to keep up
