Of the first two you made I must admit to preferring the first with the white background. To me it looks really classy. Some great designs all round. This video is going into my saved group for quick accessibility as I have some birthday cards to make in the next couple of weeks and I am going to use your ideas. Thank you.
Oh i love when people tell me they're saving my video! Love that it gave you some inspiration. Im going to aim to do more in future with scraps and get us all making the most of our papers and money!
I love the circle card. I like the contrast between the straight edges and the circle. Also an idea for those papers with the holes punched out: if you have letter stamps or stickers, put the letters in the holes to spell "thanks" or "to you" (paired with a happy birthday sentiment). Or use those tiny stamps we never know what to do with. 😊💛

The rectangle ones look like bookmakers if cut in half length-wise. The cards could have a dual purpose. After the card has been enjoyed, remove the striped piece to use as a bookmarker. The sender would be remembered whenever the bookmarker is used.
Oh yes, could add a magent to the back with removable adhesive and a magnet to the front of the card so they could take it off and use it! awesome thinking
Well I'll be honest. When you started I thought they're not scraps! But i should have trusted you - you use SCRAPS. And what a great idea to adhere to a backing other than white. Great ideas

I really loved the ideas for the scraps. The one with the 4 colored ink blended panel beneath it was just wonderful, your best one. The black background really did set off the strips on that one. I love using up scraps, mainly because we get so many and I hate wasting them. Thank you Sasha.

Such great cards and at warp speed! I just did the strips from a paper pack that matched and made a circle with it added a die cut poppy flower which matched and one I added a thanks the other happy birthday. When I started it I loved the look and colors so much I made a second. I did put a black ring border on the circle. But I loved all the different ways you thought to do this and definitely will be making more to use paper that’s just been sitting for so long but I can’t get rid of it because I love it! Great video! Thank you!

So pretty -- all of them. I especially like the square white card with the cut-edged circle. I make lots of scrap cards but get hung up trying to coordinate all the patterns and colors. I need to throw caution to the wind and try your way. Thanks for another chunk of inspiration.
honestly when in doubt, just grab one colour and all the shades of that one colour and you will NEVER go wrong. Like grab blue, but every single scrap that's blue, all the shades, it will look amazing, i promise
@@SashaReade That's what I do now and I love the results, but would like to do more of a patchwork look with not much thought of what might go together. I'd hate to waste any scraps!😉😉😉
Love these beautiful cards that are all so cool! I bought those paper pads after seeing you use them before - I got them in 6 x 6. I haven't used them yet. I love the idea of a strip jar - my strips are in a plastic sleeve but I never see them so a jar it will be from now on, thank you. Yes a jar is fab, i reach for them all the time when they're on the corner of my desk. I use an old peanut butter far and it works great. I try to have one for colour/foil/glitter and one for black/white. Hope you're enjoying the paper pads, they are still my number 1 favourite at the moment. im reaching for them every week! ive got 6x6 and 12x12 cause i love them so much ha ha

Hi girlie…you made me laugh…”dig those scraps out of the garbage”! How did you know I didn’t use my scraps? Lol! I have a “donate bag” that I put my scrap paper and pattern strips, die cuts, etc I make from my leftover scrap paper, etc to give to a daycare in town. I’ll have to try this technique.

@@cherin6037 Ive got the link for it in the description box under the video(ive updated with with as many countries as i could). It's a design that's used by many companies they just change the colour or branding on it. It is the best trimmer ever. Ive had mine for about 7 years and i wouldnt use anything else. It's also reasonably priced and you can usually easily source blade replacements :)

Lovely cards, I'd be very happy to get one if I was in your family! For the leftover panels, I would use stars, rounded stars or wonky stars, and use encouraging sentiments, they would fit very well with the panels.

Great cards and inspiration. Most of my scraps are plain coloured paper, very few patterned ones. I need a way to fancy up the plain ones.

These cards look great! I’m curious, have you ever tried using the “pops” on stencils or painting stamped images with them? I haven’t bought any yet but the thought of various ways to use them “popped” into my head this morning. Just curious. 😊❤️🇨🇦
I havent used them on stencils but ive used nuvo drops like that- and they're pretty much the same thing
