Also I don't remember if I ever mentioned it here, but I used to work in a thrift store. They get tons of photo paper in, at thrift stores. Thus, a very cheap way to supply our needs.😅
Yes! I was going to suggest thrift stores! I have a large stash of photo papers that I got super cheap from thrift stores!

Oh my gosh!!! I think the stencil technique with the oxides is my favorite!!!!! 🤩
If you didn't know, Tim Holtz has a Distress Micro Glaze which seals in the oxide layer, and also allows you to add more color over it.
Wow 🤩 … some of the gorgeous two coloured with stencils remind me of batik fabric! ❤

Wow, Sasha, these are AWESOME!!! And thank you for sharing that you can "clean" Distress Oxides on photo paper with just water & a cloth. I've seen it done with a baby wipe, but I hate to keep throwing baby wipes into the landfill (ultimately) and, since I rarely use them for anything else, they end up drying out in the package, so I have to throw those out without even having used them. And don't even get me started on the plastic packaging they come in. :P Anyway, you have just saved me loads of woe, so again - thank you! :) I am STILL making holiday cards, so I don't have time just to "play" right now - not that making cards is dull work and not fun. There is a light at the end of the tunnel with that project, though, as I'm almost done! :) But I'll definitely keep this technique in mind for future crafting. We have not had much snow in central Ontario but some coming tonight. Hope your Mum is well . Love does travel miles to keep in touch when you are far apart.🎄

@@SashaReade, it’s the humidity Sasha, it’s been really high the last few days. Hopefully the temp will drop to around 27° in a couple,e of days. I come from Sth Yorkshire originally, so also have a bit of both worlds.

Thank you so much, im sure it's going to calm down now. My poor daughter has had a LOT of time in hospital over the past 6 months, but she's an unreal super star and i think we're going to be moving upward and onward this year. Looking forward to 2024

I just tried a few pieces using Distress Oxides, and for some reason the Cracked Pistachio color wipes right off! And I love that color so much.
