I love all the ones that fit a vegan diet 😄👍 I grow my own greens throughout the year which is totally awesome! I function best on similar macros to you as well. I had a trainer constantly telling me I needed to reduce my (healthy) fats and it drove me nuts!! She also told me to cut out fruit 😫 I proved her wrong and lost a heap of body fat by keeping my avocados + nuts/seeds + fruit 🤩 I love that you are promoting a healthy balance of foods rather than pushing the "cut this, drop that" mentality 💖💖💖💖
I just wanted to drop in and say, omgoodness YES to your videos. I came to an epiphany that, while I’m doing my best to avoid the bad stuff, I wasn’t doing a great job at getting the right stuff! I do fine, but could be doing WAY better. I have struggled with adult acne for a long time now, and a light bulb went off for me when you were talking about the benefits of certain foods, that my body’s way of crying out for nutrients is my red skin! I’m pressing forward on this life long journey trying to be the best healthy version of myself. Thank you for your great content

The best thing you can do is to get back to eating healthy and your usual way. Allow yourself the binge and move on, rather than worry too much about it. We all have binges ❤️

Thank you, Laura - we are all doing well and safe. I hope the same is true for you! I know the fat content and calories may be high, but avocados are quite high in fiber for the carbs they contain, and they are full of healthy fats that will keep you full longer and make you feel satisfied. While they aren’t technically tied to losing weight, they are not tied to weight gain either and they are very much a part of diets for those who successfully lose and maintain their weight. I hope that helps to inspire you to eat more avocados! 😋
I don’t understand how peeps drink green smoothies but don’t taste the greens. For me, that’s all I can taste & it grossed me out! Adding fruit does not cancel out the spinach or kale taste
I would really really love you to make a video where u show your pantry bcs i have such a hard time (since I'm starting to educate myself on clean eating) but after a few days my nuts taste bad or if i buy small amounts implies more trips to store (and just whenever I'm super low on nuts in my pantry is when my daughters decide to eat them 😩)

Does blending and juicing cause us to digest these carbs that are complex, to become simple sugars, and therefore put lots of quick digesting simple sugars into our system? Simple sugars seem to be a problem for a lot of people, so I am wondering; is juicing, smoothies, etc really beneficial? In addition, could there be a high concentration of nutrients in these food preparation techniques, that causes over nutrients, malnutrition, and toxicity. These are just questions I am thinking of over the years. Anyway, my health text book from college, seems to be in line somewhat with your view of nutrition. Thanks for sharing. mf
I enjoy 6 out of 7 of these foods almost every day. I really wish I liked beans and lentils. I do enjoy peanuts so at least there is one legume I will eat.
Interesting. In your video depicting what you eat in a day, there were very few of these foods, and it was mostly bread- an English muffin, a bagel sandwich, protein pancakes, and a wrap with brown rice. No greens, and just a few raspberries on the pancakes. Also a ton of food. I do intermittent fasting also- 4-5 hours in the same time frame, and I couldn’t eat 1/10th of that in the same amount of time. For example, at 3pm you had 3 protein pancakes with peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and raspberries, and at 3:45 you had a large wrap with chicken and brown rice and a protein shake. You said the protein shakes were just protein powder in water- no greens added. In the “How I Lost 250 lbs.” video, there are one or two pictures where you are MAYBE 60 lbs. overweight, but not even one where you looked like you had weighed nearly 400 lbs.! I’m skeptical. Your videos seem less than honest. 🤔🙁

1. Dark Leafy Greens. Spinach, Kale, Arugula, Collards etc.
2. Nuts, preferably raw & unsalted/ Nut butter
3.eggs
4 Berries fresh or frozen
5. Avocado Vegan protein, Healthy fats, satiating, high in omega 3 fatty acids, high in fiber,
6. Fermented foods like yogurt,plain, full fat, miso, kimchi etc

Put the nuts in the fridge or freeze them. If they're in the pantry, they can go rancid bc of oils.

Commercial yogurt has a negligible amount of probiotics. The hormones in dairy cancel out any benefit by miles.
