that's not 46 year old coffee!! that seal looked as if it had been opened and the coffee actually looks like the crappy maxwell house instant of today!! i'll be 60 years old in 2024 and i remember coffee fron 50 years ago, and i drank maxwell house all through the 80's and remember when actually tasted better than it does today, it's actually been pretty bad for about 30 or so years now!!!
You're 100% correct. I don't know what year that is, but it's not 1975. The packaging doesn't match and in the 1970s, they didn't use that type of foil seal. They were paper seals. Maybe, and I mean maybe, it's from 1985 or 1995.

Fun and interesting video. I’m wondering if it would taste differently if you used a correct size coffee cup…Seems that the jar you used to drink from is larger than an actual coffee cup ☕️ (?)
Ty for the video. Didn't know the backstory to Maxwell House coffee. Instant coffee probably only has a shelf life of maybe 20-25 years, if that. Like everything else that's good related. When in doubt, throw it out.
I will only tell you this. It probably don't taste all that great. However, a true coffee drinker probably drinks to coffee because of the caffeine content and if I want my coffee to taste palatable I always add sugar and cream
Yeah. Most instant coffees are too bitter for me. But I found one by trung nguyen and it's a 3in1 mix and it's delicious. Also jamaican blue mountain black instant coffee has little bitterness.
My grandfather had some coffee plants and I still remember the smell of the whole process. I mean, the beautiful plants in the soil, picking the berries, drying them, roasting them... I can't just imagine how those taste and smell. Interesting how it quite hold the integrity of the coffee grounds. No mold! Thanks for sharing ☕

Maxwell House is my old "Stand by" Coffee only used when I run out of Good Ground Bean coffee :)
